Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between the characteristics of respondents and the mental health status of postpartum mothers in the working area of the Kotaraja Health Center. The research method used is correlational quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that one third of the total postpartum mothers (32.7%) experienced mental health problems, dominated by the group of early adulthood, low education, married status, poor economic status, multiparous, history of standard delivery, and having children of infant age. The most felt symptoms were somatic symptoms (66.5%) and anxiety (56.2%). The most common specific symptoms were frequent headaches (55%), fatigue (57.8%) and difficulty sleeping (41%). As many as 2.4% of respondents had thoughts of ending their life. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between educational level and economic status with mental health problems of postpartum mothers. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between glucose levels and cholesterol levels in the blood. The method in this research is an observational study with an analytic study design. The results of this study obtained that glucose levels had an average value of 89.76 mg/dl and cholesterol levels had an average value of 215.92 mg/dl. The analysis of cholesterol levels with glucose in the blood obtained a deal of p=0.646. In conclusion, there is no relationship between blood cholesterol and blood glucose levels. Abstract

This study aims to describe the tendency of social withdrawal (Hikikomori) in adolescents. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that almost half of the respondents tended to experience social withdrawal (Hikikomori) 40%, and most of the samples experienced a low-level tendency of 66 models (60%). In conclusion, most respondents have a low social withdrawal tendency (Hikikomori). Keywords: Hikikomori, Social Withdrawal

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions on parenting stress in mothers with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The method used is a systematic review through article searches adjusted for formulating research questions with the PICO formula in the EBSCOhost, EMBASE, Clinicalkey for Nursing, Proquest, ScienceDirect, and Scopus databases. The study results show that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can effectively reduce anxiety, stress, and the burden of caring for mothers with children with ASD. In conclusion, interventions through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy have proven effective in reducing anxiety, stress, and the responsibility of caring for mothers with children with ASD. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) technology on pain scales in post-TKR osteoarthritis patients. Using previously defined keywords, this research uses the literature review method, which originates from the database, namely ClinicKey Nursing, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, and Embase with Publish in 2018-2022. The results showed that after the four databases were determined, 511 articles were produced, of which Clinickey Nursing (n = 41), EBSCOhost (n = 17), EMBASE (n = 3), and ProQuest (n = 450). First and second screening (n = 81) (=26). duplication and filtering of titles/abstracts, and based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, the number of articles were grouped into 5 (n=5). In conclusion, VR technology devices still need to do an in-depth study regarding the effectiveness of their use as a distraction technology in post-TKR patients. Specific assessment of the use of VR technology in terms of Visualization, Auditory, and Type of VR Devices used to control functions. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of preoperative exercise on breast cancer patients with mastectomy. The research design is a systematic review using the PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Scopus databases. The research results obtained 199 articles and nine articles were relevant and met the requirements. The preoperative exercise showed a positive effect on the side effects of mastectomy. In conclusion, preoperative exercise intervention can reduce complaints or side effects felt by breast cancer patients after undergoing a mastectomy, including pain, limited range of motion of the shoulder joint, decreased shoulder function, lymphedema, and quality of life. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between fatigue and quality of life in heart failure patients. This study uses a correlative descriptive method utilizing a cross-sectional approach. Based on the study's results, most respondents were in the age range of 56-65 years with 39.6% and male sex as much as 61.3%. Most respondents are in the category of severe fatigue 77.4% and poor quality of life as much as 70.8%. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test, which produced a p-value of 0.001. In conclusion, a relationship exists between fatigue and quality of life in heart failure patients. Keywords: Heart Failure, Fatigue, Quality of Life

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and the independence of older people in Cigembor Village, Ciamis Regency. The method used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that the highest family support was in the supportive category, namely 66 people (68.0%). At the same time, the highest level of independence for older people is in the total independent category, namely 55 people (56.7%). In conclusion, there is a relationship between family support and elderly independence. Keywords: Family support, Independence, Elderly

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of peer group support on adherence to ARV treatment. The method used is a systematic review by searching articles according to the formulation of research questions using the PICO formula through online database searches, namely Pubmed, PubMed, SAGE, Scopus, and Springer Link with full text), published 2020-2023. The results showed that peer group-based interventions were critical in increasing ARV adherence in PLHIV. In conclusion, peer group intervention for ODHAcan increase ARV adherence and thereby automatically improve the quality of life for ODHA. Keywords: HIV AIDS, Peer Group, Compliance

Abstract

This study aims to examine in a structured way the research results related to sibling interventions and support programs for children with chronic illnesses and their effects on psychosocial siblings. The method used is a systematic review using six electronic databases: Clinical Key Nursing, Scopus, Science Direct, Sage Journal Taylor & Francis, PubMed, and hand-searched. The keywords used to search for relevant articles in this study were: (sibling OR brother OR sister) AND (chronic OR disability) AND (Intervention OR therapy) AND (psychosocial OR psychology OR social). The results showed that as many as five articles were obtained discussing different types of intervention and support, which positively affected sibling psychosocial conditions. In conclusion, sibling intervention and support can be done through communication, the interaction between siblings, support groups, and art and nature therapy. Sibling intervention and support can positively improve the psychosocial condition of sibling children with chronic illnesses. Keywords: Support, Intervention, Chronic Disease, Siblings, Siblings
