Abstract

Streaming platforms like Netflix rely on genre classification and content rating to enhance user experience and develop more effective marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the relationship between genre and content rating on Netflix using Chi-Square analysis and clustering techniques to group genres based on rating distribution patterns. The Chi-Square test results indicate a significant relationship between genre and content rating (p-value < 0.05), suggesting that certain types of content tend to receive specific ratings. Furthermore, clustering analysis identifies three main groups: genres with high ratings suitable for a broad audience, genres with varied ratings that are more subjective, and genres with lower ratings that often include adult or less popular content. These findings provide insights that Netflix can leverage to optimize its content catalog, develop personalized recommendations, and tailor marketing strategies based on user consumption patterns.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the earthquake that hit Jayapura City in early 2023 was damage to buildings (houses and buildings). The ineffectiveness of the process of inventorying and identifying building damage is one of the obstacles faced by the Jayapura City BPBD, due to the limited number of personnel, the wide coverage of the painting area, and the inventory and discovery processes that are still being carried out manually. In addition, community knowledge about building damage and post-earthquake handling solutions is still limited. For this reason, an expert system is needed as a tool to carry out an inventory and help the level of damage to buildings along with recommendations for solving them quickly and precisely. This study aims to apply the Dempster Shafer method to diagnose earthquake damage to buildings. This method is a case approach technique used to measure a possibility that occurs based on a cause. For problem assistance using the Fishbone analysis method, system design using the Unifield Modeling Language (UML), and for testing using Black-Box Testing. The results of research using the Dempster Shafer method recommend three categories of building damage levels, namely light damage, moderate damage, and heavy damage. This study also recommends solutions for handling according to the type and level of damage to buildings experienced, so that the results of the inventory and damage assistance can be faster and more precise, and the community can be more vigilant in anticipating the arrival of aftershocks.

Abstract

Oral health is a condition in which the hard and soft tissues in the oral cavity are healthy, free from disease, and aesthetic disorders. One of the main problems faced is dental caries, a disease that starts from damage to the tooth surface and can spread to the pulp. Consumption of sweet foods is often the main cause of tooth decay and caries. This study aims to develop a system that is able to recognize carious and non-carious teeth using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the Vgg-16 architecture. The dataset used consists of 500 images, with a division of 80% for training data, 10% for validation data, and 10% for test data. This study also evaluates the performance of the model using three different optimizers: Adam, Adamax, and RMSprop. The experimental results show that the use of the Adam optimizer produces an accuracy of 77%. Meanwhile, Adamax produces an accuracy of 79%, and RMSprop produces an accuracy of 70%.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has brought many benefits to the world of education today, creating school websites and developing computerized educational information systems are some of the applications of information technology. Course data processing that is usually done by schools is still done manually, and the data collection system still uses paper and notes, so it is easy to cause loss and damage to existing data. The development of the system solves the problems of educational data processing by creating a cloud computing academic information system that provides information such as student information, teacher list, subjects, student results, student learning results, and student participation announcements via SMS to parents. The programming languages used to build this information system are PHP and MySQL databases. Therefore, the existence of this system can contribute to accelerating the process of academic data processing. Moreover, with a cloud computing platform, data information can be viewed in real-time. Based on the results of tests conducted on the system from a functional point of view, it can be concluded from the table that up to 10 sample data provide the correct values according to the following calculations: precision values 10/10 * 100 = 100 %. These results show that the school information system is running well and as expected.

Abstract

Quiz are an evaluation medium given during the learning process in Sundanese language subjects to test students' knowledge. Sundanese is the language used by Sundanese people to communicate. At SMPN 1 Cibeureum, there are Sundanese language subjects that use Google Forms in conducting quizzes as an evaluation medium. With this media there are obstacles, namely that students can take the quiz several times using another email account, to limit the time for completing questions, there are features that must be installed so it takes time, and questions cannot be created with different value weights. In this research, the author created an Android-based quiz on Sundanese language subjects that applies system development methods with an agile approach. This method includes application development stages that actively involve users. The results of system testing show that the average index in usability testing for positive statements is 92.6% and negative statements is 26.2%. From the index value obtained, it can be stated that the quiz application has achieved the goals and user experience because the test value is above the specified standard.

Abstract

Fungi are heterotrophic organisms that fulfill their needs by utilizing organic matter from other organisms. Mushrooms consist of 3 groups, namely edible mushrooms, poisonous mushrooms, and mushrooms that are not known to be edible or poisonous. The purpose of this research is to find the best algorithm to classify mushroom types appropriately. Mushroom classification can be done through the application of a single classifier including the Gaussian Naive Bayes algorithm, C4.5 and Classification and Regression Trees (CART), which is then compared using an ensemble classifier. Single classifiers have limited performance and are not adaptive to data changes, while the ensemble algorithm with Weighted Soft Voting is able to cover these shortcomings by increasing accuracy and robustness by combining predictions from several models that are weighted based on their respective performance. The Gaussian Naive Bayes, CART and C4.5 algorithms with percentage split testing techniques obtained accuracy results of 63.55%, 97.67% and 97.77% respectively. The results of research using the Ensemble method can increase the accuracy value by combining the three algorithm weights with an accuracy result of 98%. In this case, the Ensemble algorithm obtained the best performance in mushroom classification.

Abstract

PO. De Santo Lilin Lembata Terang is a sole proprietorship (PO) that focuses on the production and sale of candles located in Lamahora, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. So far, the production and sales system is still done manually, namely by using Microsoft Excel and handwriting. Where, the use of this method often causes problems, such as loss of recorded data, inconsistencies between recorded sales data and production data which causes differences between the amount of production results and consumer needs. This not only hinders operational efficiency, but also has an impact on consumer satisfaction and the company's potential income. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to design and build an application that can be used as a solution to overcome these problems. The method used in developing this application is the Waterfall method. The results of this study are a web application for candle sales and production management at PO. De Santo Lilin Lembata Terang which can record candle production results, sales results, employee data, candle product data and raw material data. This application can also generate sales reports, production reports, raw material usage reports and employee performance reports which will be used as a basis for payroll.

Abstract

Employee transfers are an important part of managing human resources in government agencies. The transfer process is often carried out as an effort to improve performance, efficiency and distribute employees evenly across various work units. However, decision making in the transfer process can be a challenge because it involves many factors, such as performance, absenteeism, length of service and education. In the context of the Sragen Regency Regional Secretariat, this process requires a system that can assist decision makers in determining employees who are worthy of transfer objectively and precisely. For this reason, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed which can assist policy makers in analyzing and selecting employees to be transferred. This research uses four variables which are analyzed using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) so that employees with a final calculation value of 1 are obtained as employees who are worthy of being recommended for transfer.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has opened new opportunities to improve the efficiency of public services. This research develops an AI-based chatbot applied to the Family Welfare Learning Center (PUSPAGATRA) services at the Department of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (Dinas PPKB PPPA) of Sragen Regency. Using the Naive Bayes algorithm, this chatbot is designed to provide information and guidance on family, health, women's empowerment, and child protection programs quickly and efficiently. This study shows that AI-based chatbots can answer various public inquiries accurately and relevantly. Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a Workshop Equipment Management System based on Data Matrix technology to enhance operational efficiency. The system utilizes Data Matrix technology, which features high storage capacity, error correction capability, and durability in harsh working conditions. Developed using the Waterfall model, the system supports real-time recording, tracking, and maintenance of tools. Implementation in Aneka Usaha Workshop, Sumbawa Regency, demonstrated improved operational efficiency, reducing tool recording time from an average of 15 minutes to 3 minutes, with a Barcode reading accuracy of 98%. Key features such as automated maintenance reminders, digital inventory integration, and tool labeling with water- and scratch-resistant Barcodes enable more structured and reliable management. Testing results confirm the system meets functional and non-functional specifications, delivering fast response times and low failure rates. The system can be further developed by integrating AI-based analytics for maintenance prediction and applied in other sectors such as manufacturing and logistics. Additionally, technical training for employees and infrastructure upgrades, such as high-resolution cameras, are recommended to enhance system performance.
