Abstract

This study aims to detect students' emotions during lecture hours using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) method. Emotions influence learning success, where positive emotions can enhance motivation and understanding, while negative emotions can hinder the learning process. This research employs an artificial intelligence-based video analysis approach to recognize students' facial expressions in real-time. The research stages include data acquisition using lecture videos, data preprocessing through annotation and labeling with bounding boxes, and the implementation of the YOLO method to detect three emotion categories: Enthusiastic, Confused, and Bored. Evaluation was conducted using precision, recall, and mean average precision (mAP) metrics. The test results showed that the model achieved an overall accuracy of 91.7%, with the best performance in the Enthusiastic category (97.0% accuracy) and good performance in the Bored category (93.4%). However, the model failed to detect the Confused emotion (0.0% accuracy), indicating the need for additional training data. This study demonstrates that the YOLO method has the potential to assist lecturers in understanding students' emotional states, enabling more adaptive teaching. Further development is needed to improve accuracy across all emotion categories and ensure the system functions optimally.

Abstract

The population administration system is a vital component of government operations, managing population data that includes essential demographic information. However, many villages, including Bedulu Village, still rely on manual methods for recording population data, which are prone to errors, data duplication, and security issues. According to an interview with the Head of Bedulu Village, it was noted that this manual process presents challenges such as the potential for data loss or damage and the inability to ensure accurate population counts. Therefore, this study aims to design a computerized population data management system to replace the manual methods with a more efficient and accurate digital solution. The system is designed to record data in real-time, minimize the potential for data loss or damage, and avoid data duplication. This study adopts an Agile approach to system development, as this method has proven effective in delivering systems that meet user needs and enhance user satisfaction. Agile focuses on rapid and adaptive progress, with active user involvement throughout the development phase. With the implementation of this computerized information system, it is expected that Bedulu Village will be able to manage population data more effectively, improve the quality of public services, and better support government programs. Abstract

The planning of the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network development in Dusun Kedon Rt.005 Bantul focuses on enhancing fast and stable internet access for the community. In today's digital era, the need for reliable internet connectivity is increasingly important, especially in rural areas that are often neglected in terms of information technology infrastructure. The RT/RW Net network in Dusun Kedon is designed using the FTTH method, utilizing Mikrotik RB750r2 devices, Optical Line Terminal (OLT), Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC), Optical Distribution Point (ODP), and Optical Network Terminal (ONT). A comparison between the use of FTTH networks and point-to-point networks shows several advantages and disadvantages, including. (1) In the FTTH network, the optical fiber from the provider is split using a splitter to serve multiple customers, while in point-to-point, the optical fiber is directly connected from the service provider to the customer's location. (2) The performance of the FTTH network is influenced by the number of users since the bandwidth is shared, whereas point-to-point offers more stable performance without bandwidth sharing. (3) The FTTH network requires fewer cables and hardware components compared to point-to-point. (4) The FTTH network is more vulnerable to failure if the splitter or main fiber experiences damage, which can affect multiple users simultaneously. In contrast, a point-to-point failure only affects a single customer. (5) The implementation and maintenance costs of the FTTH network are lower compared to point-to-point.

Abstract

Comparation Analysis of MongoDB Standalone, Replica and MongoDB Shard Performance Testing Replication is used to test the response time given by the database. In the Database Management System (DBMS) it can be used to perform basic data management from both local and cloud disks. The main problem that occurs when the data is very large, determining the database architecture is very necessary. Transaction performance per second is an important point when making changes to the database architecture. The method used is waterfall including preparation, analysis and design, implementation, and writing reports. Preparation includes literature studies. Analysis and design to determine the database architecture scheme and select the appropriate tools. Implementation by conducting experiments by installing tools and databases, conducting stress tests with several scenarios that have been created previously. After that, a report is made and conclusions are drawn from the results of the experiment. So that with this test it is expected to be able to provide an overview of the use of database architecture that is in accordance with needs by considering database performance by considering vertical or horizontal scaling. The goal is to suggest options with the best performance, best resources, and minimum costs. This research is important because the research results show that the minimum specifications for a production environment are to use replicas, while the ideal architecture uses MongoDB Sharding with 33.67% on insert and 33.36% on select. This is obtained from considerations of response time, throughput, and database features.

Abstract

Barbershop merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa pangkas rambut untuk pria. Pergeseran proses bisnis dari yang awalnya manual menjadi sistem layanan berbasis website telah membuat pengolahan data dan informasi menjadi lebih besar dan kompleks. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan akan pengolahan dan integrasi data harus mendapatkan perhatian yang lebih besar. Dengan adanya arsitektur web service yang merupakan suatu entitas komputasi yang dapat diakses melalui jaringan internet, maka dapat menghubungkan berbagai jenis aplikasi di seluruh web tanpa memandang bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan. Pada penelitian ini, metode web service yang digunakan adalah RESTful API yang terbilang ringan dan sederhana dibandingkan dengan SOAP. Metode RESTful digunakan untuk membuat kedua platform tersebut saling terhubung dan terintegrasi satu sama lain. Sedangkan untuk metode pengembangan sistemnya adalah metode waterfall karena metode ini memberikan alur kerja yang terstruktur dan linier yang sangat membantu dalam memastikan setiap tahapan pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan cermat. Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan yaitu web service RESTful API telah berhasil diimplementasikan dengan hasil pengujian 4 fitur yaitu GET, POST, PUT dan DELETE dan sistem memberikan respon sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Big Data in public health management in Indonesia, with a special emphasis on the opportunities, problems, and impacts of using evidence-based data on decision-making. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, which involved the analysis of secondary data from a number of relevant journal articles. The results of the study show that big data improves health policy, decision-making processes, and understanding of public health trends. Examples of practices that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic show how big data analytics helps governments monitor vaccine deployment and distribution in real time. However, major issues such as lack of technological infrastructure, limited human resources, and data privacy issues continue to emerge. Research shows that with strengthened technology infrastructure, employee training, and better data security policies, the implementation of Big Data has great potential to improve the efficiency of public health management. According to this study, investment in information technology must be made, and also a policy framework that supports data integration between government agencies must be created.

Abstract

SMK Ma'arif NU Doro is a private school in Pekalongan Regency. This school faces challenges in the New Student Admission (PPDB) process. With the conventional method, the registration process for prospective new students is less than optimal because it does not yet use a web-based registration system. Therefore, this research aims to implement the spiral method in developing a web-based PPDB system. The development is carried out incrementally, allowing flexibility and adaptability to changes. Each stage of development adds new features until the system is complete. The research results show that the spiral method is suitable for use because it provides room for adjustments according to needs to improve the efficiency and quality of the PPDB process at SMK Ma'arif NU Doro

Abstract

Sampah adalah limbah yang dihasilkan manusia setiap melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Berdasarkan data kementerian lingkungan hidup, setiap orang dapat menghasilkan 1 kilogram sampah setiap hari. Oleh karena itu penanganan sampah yang efektif merupakan sebuah permasalahan yang layak diangkat dalam penelitian. Ada banyak cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk menangani sampah, yang paling sering diangkat adalah reuse, reduce, dan recycle. Setiap cara tersebut memiliki tingkat keberhasilan masing-masing. Cara yang dianggap cukup berkelanjutan adalah recycle/daur ulang karena menghasilkan keuntungan finansial yang dapat mendanai penanganan sampah. Permasalahan utama dari industri daur ulang sampah adalah karakteristik sampah bahan baku yang tidak selalu ada. Sehingga perlu adanya sebuah cara untuk menjamin keberlangsungan rantai pasok industri daur ulang. Salah satunya adalah dengan cara melakukan digitalisasi penjualan sampah daur ulang sehingga dapat menjangkau banyak pihak. Digitalisasi dilakukan dengan cara pengembangan sistem penjualan sampah berbasis mobile sehingga dapat diakses di mana pun. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan model waterfall, menghasilkan beberapa diagram UML dan Aplikasi Android yang siap digunakan untuk menjembatani industri daur ulang dalam pengadaan bahan baku.

Abstract

Forensik digital memiliki peran krusial dalam investigasi kejahatan siber, terutama dalam pemulihan data yang hilang atau terhapus. Salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam proses ini adalah data carving, yaitu teknik ekstraksi file dari media penyimpanan yang mengalami fragmentasi atau kerusakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas tiga alat data carving pada BackTrack OS, yakni Scalpel, Foremost, dan PhotoRec, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek kecepatan, akurasi, dan kemampuan menangani fragmentasi file. Pendekatan eksperimental diterapkan dengan menggunakan tiga jenis media penyimpanan (USB drive, hard disk, dan kartu SD) yang telah melalui simulasi kerusakan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Scalpel memiliki keunggulan dalam kecepatan pemulihan, Foremost menawarkan keseimbangan antara efisiensi dan akurasi, sedangkan PhotoRec unggul dalam pemulihan data dari media yang mengalami kerusakan parah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa tidak ada satu alat yang sepenuhnya unggul dalam semua aspek, sehingga pemilihannya harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan investigasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi praktisi forensik digital dalam menentukan alat pemulihan data yang optimal berdasarkan karakteristik kasus yang dihadapi.

Abstract

This study classifies Korean dramas based on popularity and ratings using K-Means Clustering within the CRISP-DM framework. The dataset from Kaggle includes title, release year, rating, vote count, duration, and genre. The Elbow Method determined that 2 clusters were optimal, with a Silhouette Score of 0.35, indicating a fairly good grouping. Recommended dramas have high ratings and vote counts, showing strong popularity, while less recommended dramas have lower ratings and fewer votes, indicating limited appeal. This model can enhance recommendation system accuracy, assist viewers in content selection, and help streaming platforms understand user trends and marketing strategies. Future improvements may involve alternative clustering methods (DBSCAN, Hierarchical Clustering) and additional features like actors, directors, and release year to refine accuracy.
