Abstract

Tourism websites play a vital role in disseminating information and promoting cultural destinations such as the Karaton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat. The server’s initial response speed, or Time to First Byte (TTFB), is an important indicator in evaluating user experience when visiting a website. This study aims to demonstrate improved TTFB performance by implementing a web development architecture known as JAMstack. TTFB testing was conducted using the SpeedVitals platform, measuring four key components that make up the full TTFB metric: DNS, Connect, TLS, and TTFB itself, across various locations worldwide. The results show that websites built with JAMstack architecture consistently achieve faster TTFB, ranging from 54 ms to 228 ms across approximately 32 locations. This stands in contrast to the non-JAMstack approach, which shows inconsistent results ranging from 427 ms to 909 ms. This performance advantage is attributed to the delivery of static content via a Content Delivery Network (CDN) with hundreds of global distribution points. In addition to offering faster access and a more consistent user experience from various global regions, JAMstack also provides reliability, redundancy, and ease of migration. Based on these findings, JAMstack proves to be a superior architectural approach for developing tourism websites that require fast and stable access across regions.

Abstract

The public sentiment analysis of the free nutritious meal program in schools was conducted based on data from the social media platform Twitter (X). This program is an initiative by the Indonesian government aimed at improving the nutritional quality of children, particularly those from underprivileged families, as well as reducing stunting rates. The data used consisted of 3,007 tweets that had undergone preprocessing, manual labeling, and class balancing using oversampling techniques. The K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) method was applied to classify sentiment into three categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The data was split with 80% used for training and 20% for testing. The analysis process included data representation using TF-IDF and model evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Evaluation results showed that the K-NN model with K=3 achieved an accuracy of 82%, with the best performance in classifying negative sentiment tweets (recall = 1.00, F1-score = 0.93). These findings indicate that public opinion toward the program tends to be negative, mainly due to concerns over budget allocation and food distribution. This study is expected to provide input for the government in designing more effective and responsive communication strategies and public policies.

Abstract

Abstract SMK AL-AMANAH is a private vocational high school officially established in the academic year 1996/1997 under the Al Amanah Al Bantani Islamic Boarding School and Education Foundation. Currently, the extracurricular selection process at SMK AL-AMANAH is still carried out manually and does not yet utilize a system that considers students' interests and potential comprehensively. As a result, some students choose extracurricular activities based on peer influence or without considering their personal abilities, which may reduce participation and effectiveness of the activities. This research aims to develop a web-based decision support system to assist students in selecting the most suitable extracurricular activities according to their interests and potential. The system is designed based on criteria determined by the school, such as interest, talent, time availability, and academic performance. The methods used for decision-making are Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), both of which are capable of solving multi-criteria decision-making problems objectively. A case study was conducted at SMK AL-AMANAH with system testing using simulated student data. The results of this study indicate that the system can effectively provide extracurricular recommendations and support students in making informed decisions. Abstract

Information system governance audits aim to determine the maturity level of information system governance based on existing problems in a company. The Bali Province Ministry of Religion Regional Office is one of the government agencies that serves the community by utilizing information systems. The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Bali Province faces several problems in implementing the information system, such as errors in data input into the system by the admin and a slow system due to the large number of users using it. Therefore, it is important to carry out an information system audit using the COBIT 5 framework to find out and identify existing problems for smooth operations. This research aims to determine and provide recommendations for improvements regarding the level of maturity in the information system at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, Bali Province.

Abstract

Indonesia’s gaming industry is rapidly expanding and produces extensive textual data from diverse sources such as news articles and social media. Named Entity Recognition (NER) models can extract valuable information from this data; however, general-purpose models remain suboptimal for the gaming domain due to its unique terminology. This study evaluates the impact of domain shift on the NERGrit model, a standard NER model from the IndoNLU benchmark, when applied to an Indonesian gaming text corpus. The model was tested on the gaming-domain corpus and compared with a domain-specific lexicon to identify error patterns through qualitative and quantitative analyses. Results show that although NERGrit can detect numerous entities, it often fails to classify them correctly. The dominance of the MISC category (61.8%) and recurring issues such as misclassification, entity boundary errors, and ambiguity between fictional and real entities indicate the model’s limitations. This study confirms the existence of domain adaptation challenges and introduces a new entity schema covering the categories GAME, PLATFORM, TECH, EVENT, CHAR,and COMPANY. The proposed schema provides a foundation for developing a more relevant NER dataset and model tailored to Indonesia’s gaming industry ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based warehouse management system integrated with a barcode scanner at PT Sarana Prima Logistindo. The background of this research lies in the company’s manual warehouse management process, which causes difficulties in tracking stock, data recording errors, and slow inbound and outbound processes. The system was developed using the waterfall method, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. It was built using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 3 framework, a MySQL database, and integrated barcode scanning technology to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. The research results show that the developed system can record stock in real time, minimize input errors, speed up the validation process, and generate accurate reports for management decisions. Black box testing indicates a 95% success rate in terms of functionality and data accuracy. Therefore, the implementation of a web-based warehouse management system integrated with a barcode scanner proves effective in improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and supporting managerial decision-making at PT Sarana Prima Logistindo.

Abstract

The Universitas Malikussaleh library website plays a vital role in supporting academic activities for students and lecturers. System performance degradation during high traffic periods—such as exam weeks—can disrupt access to essential services. This study aims to evaluate the website’s performance through Load Testing using Apache JMeter. Three test scenarios were conducted under simulated loads of 100, 200, and 300 concurrent users, measuring key performance parameters including response time, throughput, and system stability. Results show that the website remained stable up to 200 users. However, under 300 users, performance significantly declined, marked by increased response times, reduced throughput, and bottlenecks on features like OPAC and online registration. These issues highlight limitations in the current infrastructure, particularly due to shared hosting. Based on the findings, several recommendations are proposed: upgrading server capacity, optimizing resource-intensive features, implementing caching mechanisms, and applying load balancing techniques. With these improvements, the library website is expected to deliver faster, more reliable services and be better equipped to handle traffic surges in the future

Abstract

Deposits serve as the primary source of funding for banks and play a crucial role in determining their ability to extend loans. Therefore, banks must ensure that deposit levels remain stable, one of which can be achieved by increasing customer interest through effective marketing strategies. Telemarketing is considered an important channel for promoting the deposit program. Predictive analysis was believed can enhance and optimize marketing strategies. Previous studies have predominantly focused on improving accuracy metrics without emphasizing their interpretability. This study aims to develop a machine learning model that employs appropriate evaluation metrics while also providing insights into the factors influencing customers' decisions to make deposits. Several machine learning algorithms are applied in this research, including Decision Tree, Random Forest, and XGBoost. Experimental results indicate that the XGBoost algorithm combined with a random undersampling approach achieved the best performance with a recall score of 67% and an accuracy of 94% in predicting uninterested customers. Additionally, SHAP value analysis is utilized to identify the contribution level of each variable to customers’ deposit decisions. The interpretation results suggest that banks should pay attention to the choice of communication media, the appropriate timing for contacting customers, and the amount of balance owned by each customer.

Abstract

Letter archives are an important aspect for every office or organization, such as at the Civil Registry Office of Bangka Regency. The letter archiving system at the Civil Registry Office of Bangka Regency is still managed manually. Therefore, several problems often occur, including time-consuming archive searches, data duplication, and the potential loss of important documents. To address these issues, a more flexible and dynamic archiving system is needed so that tasks can be carried out more quickly and efficiently. Through digital archiving, not only does it improve the quality of government administration, but it also demonstrates a commitment to providing public services that are more modern, transparent, and responsive. The method used in implementing this application is the prototype method, and the tool used is Android Studio. This application can serve as a solution for employees to record, store, and access letter data digitally via Android devices without relying on manual records. This accelerates the archive search process, reduces the risk of data loss, and increases the accuracy of document management.

Abstract

The development of modern business requires efficient and accurate inventory management to support operational activities. Many stores still face difficulties in recording stock manually, which can lead to recording errors and delays in ordering. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Inventory Information System for Tokodigitalan to make data management processes more efficient and accurate. The system was developed using the Prototyping method, which allows users to be directly involved in the development process through iterative evaluation of the prototype. The system design employs the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to illustrate the structure and workflow of the system. Implementation was carried out using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL as the database, with a responsive web-based interface. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the system functions properly according to user requirements. The test results show that the system can record transactions accurately and accelerate the recording process compared to manual methods. The implementation of this web-based inventory system makes inventory management more efficient, administration more organized, and supports the smooth operation of the store. This study emphasizes the importance of applying information technology in inventory management to improve the effectiveness of retail businesses.
