Abstract

Dance is a branch of Indonesian art that uses body movements and is performed rhythmically with the aim of expressing feelings or conveying individual or group messages. In this puzzle application, users are given two-level choices, namely 2x3 and 3x3. This puzzle game has the theme of Dance in Java, which is aimed at children aged 6-10 years. In this game application, there are several pictures from various provinces on the island of Java that have been converted into a puzzling view which later the user can arrange the pieces of the image. This design applies the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method as a randomizer for the images presented in this application. Based on the test results, it was found that this application was running in accordance with the initial concept and the application of the method was successfully applied.

Abstract

Electronic KTP is a public document that has a security or control system in terms of management and information technology-based on national data. In this digital era, the Tanah Baru Urban Village Office is still providing services for making ID cards manually. This is considered inefficient because applicants have to queue and wait a long time until the KTP process is complete. Lack of labor force made the process of making a KTP take quite a long time. The result of this research is to apply the user-centered design method to the application system for making electronic ID cards. The advantage of the UCD method is to build an application system for making E-KTP applications with a high level of efficiency and is easy to use because the UCD method involves the user in the entire design process. Abstract

Weather in Indonesia very often experiences erratic changes because Indonesia has two seasons. Thus, it is difficult to predict rainy and sunny weather in Indonesia. Weather plays an important role in the salted fish industry, one of which is the drying of fish. The main problem is when it rains suddenly, where workers have to transport fish so that they are not exposed to rain water. This process is very ineffective in terms of time or effort. In this research, a system will be designed to make a roof controller automatically. This tool uses a microcontroller coupled with an LDR sensor, which when the sensor does not receive sunlight, the LDR sensor will interpret that it will rain, and then the roof will be closed automatically. When the sensor receives sunlight, the sensor LDR will interpret that the environment is hot, then the roof will open automatically. The LDR sensor will send data to the ESP8266 which then the data will be sent to ThingSpeak in the form of light intensity data and the ESP8266 will command the servo motor to move the roof. In this study, if the light intensity entering the sensor is more than 500, the servo motor will move then the roof will open and if the incoming light intensity is less than 450, the servo motor will move to close the roof. The author uses a microcontroller as an automatic roof controller. To make design this tool the authors made an automatic roof prototype using a microcontroller-based LDR sensor coupled with a servo motor.

Abstract

Research in the field of text mining is now increasingly being carried out because of various industries and public figures who want to get information related to public opinion about products or individual assessments obtained from social media, both opinions that are ordinary opinions and sarcasm. In the process of doing text mining, there are many classification methods that can be used, one of which is the Support Vector Machine method which can be optimized so that it can classify data into three classification classes, namely SVM One Against One and One Against Rest. The data used in the study were 2072 data from social media twitter. The results obtained from this study are the accuracy value which has the same value, whether it is done randomly or not randomly, with a value of 60.82% randomized and 60.93% non-random. On other values such as precision, recall and F1 score, the SVM One Against Rest method has a superior value compared to the SVM One Against One value.

Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country. It is a country which has the second longest coastline in the world. With the long coastline, Indonesia can produce abundant marine natural resources like salt. Salt is a strategic commodity since it is needed to consumption, industry, pharmacy and oil drilling. Referring to the national salt balance issued by The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) in 2014, it is stated that the acceleration of the increase in average salt consumption is inversely propotional to the amount of national salt production that is produced each year. This study is aimed to predict the amount of national salt production by using Mamdani Fuzzy logic method. The prediction result obtained are 1.400.000 tons in every year. The amount of production that will be predicted has independent variables namely rainfall, land area and salt requirements. By studying the factors that influence the amount of salt production, it is analyzed that the independent variable can explain the variation in the amount of salt production by 53% while the rest is explained by other variables. Therefore, these three variables must be optimized throught intensification and extensification which of course must be supported by policies issued by the government.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu unit di UKSW yang menyediakan dan mengelola program bahasa dan budaya, Language Training Center (LTC) - UKSW Salatiga sudah menerapkan Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Informasi (SI/TI) dalam proses bisnisnya. Dengan adanya SI/TI, tentu saja dapat memudahkan pekerjaan dan proses bisnis yang berjalan di LTC - UKSW. Namun permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh LTC - UKSW, masih terdapat proses bisnis yang dilakukan secara manual dan belum menggunakan sistem yang memadai. Perencanaan Arsitektur Enterprise merupakan solusi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dalam menjalankan proses bisnis di LTC - UKSW. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Architecture Development Method (ADM) digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penelitian ini. TOGAF – ADM berisi langkah-langkah dalam perancangan arsitektur enterprise pada suatu perusahan/organisasi. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap rekomendasi atau hanya sampai pada fase Opportunities and Solutions. Hasil yang ditemui pada penelitian ini adalah perlu integrasi SI/TI antar bidang agar proses bisnis dapat dijalankan secara selaras, karena masih ada bidang yang mengerjakannya secara manual. Blueprint dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dan dijadikan sebagai bahan acuan untuk membantu pengembangan SI/TI di LTC - UKSW.

Abstract

The application of IT in a company is a framework that can increase organizational profits. IT must be properly managed to generate targeted benefits. LTC is an organization that uses Cobit 5 as a tool to manage business objectives related to existing IT governance. Governance requires analysis to evaluate, assess maturity and make recommendations. LTC has not evaluated existing IT governance, so LTC does not have a framework to be able to find out the conditions, benefits and impacts of implementing IT that has been implemented. Cobit 5 is a comprehensive overall framework, because it can be adapted to existing governance in LTC. The domain on Cobit 5 the author is focused on is "Delivery, Service and Support (DSS)". This domain focuses on evaluating IT services and supporting the organization's business processes, as well as long-term control of business processes, evaluation, and planning processes. The results show that the measured processes are in DSS 1, DSS 2, DSS 3, DSS 4 and DSS 5. , DSS 6 is at level 1 (Performed Process) indicating that the process has been executed at this level and the process objectives have been achieved. Each sub-domain process is given recommendations for improvement which can later affect the current maturity level towards the level of improvement and arrive at the maturity to be achieved.

Abstract

Providing assistance is one of the programs carried out by the government through representatives of each region to help community’s economy, especially those related to the problems caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Ideally, the determination of the provision of assistance can be done quickly, objectively and on target. However, the decision-making process in Cisarua village, Sukabumi district is still done manually where there is no method used in that process leads decision makers to face problems in determining assistance recipients with the large number of people and multicriteria. Thus requiring a long time, leading to subjective judgements and providing assistance that is not on target. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Product (WP) are multicriteria methods that can be applied in the decision-making process, both methods are compared to find out the best method in determining the appropriate and targeted assistance recipients. The research starts from the problem identification which includes data collection, analysis, and application of the multicriteria method to the interpretation of method comparison results. The SAW method is more appropriate to be applied in determining the provision of assistance in Cisarua village by producing a higher number of rankings and percentage value of suitability level than the WP.

Abstract

A place to live or a house is one of the many primary needs for humans. Therefore it is very important to make a plan so that each family can have a private residence. This planning requires a prediction or forecast of future prices. So, the aim of this study is to create a house price prediction model using machine learning methods while the algorithm is linear regression. By doing web scraping to collect data, through several websites that are involved in the sale and purchase of houses. Meanwhile, according to home developers who were successfully asked in the field related to variables that affect house prices, including land area, standing building area, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, and the availability of a car park. To get a high predictive value, research is carried out repeatedly but the largest predictive value is using 80% of the dataset for training and 20% of the dataset is used for testing to produce an output value with an accuracy level of predicting 88%.

Abstract

Tahfizh Al-quran is a form of religious activity that has the meaning of preserving and maintaining the Al-quran, so that counterfeiting and alteration activities do not occur and can guard against forgetfulness, either in whole or in part. The current problem with the pandemic condition has made some students and even the community maintain a distance in carrying out their daily activities, especially the Al-Quran memorization activities carried out by MTT Miftahul Janah. This aspect causes all forms of activities to be carried out online considering that the activities of Tahfiz Al-Quran activities must continue to run, on the other hand this problem makes it unscheduled and well documented for all forms of Al-Quran memorization activities. The purpose of making this application is so that students and the public as well as tutors can monitor all Tahfizh Alquran activities on MTT Miftahul Janah run without obstacles, are scheduled and documented. This application was developed by applying a process model with an iterative process flow, namely an iterative / incremental model. In the waterfall model, each development process is carried out sequentially, starting from communication, planning, modeling, construction to deployment, so that the next iteration will be carried out after the previous iteration is complete or in conjunction with the previous iteration. The result was a prototype of a mobile-based Android application system with the firebase platform to support the activities of Tahfizh Al-quran at MTT Miftahul Janah.
