Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide benefits to student in the learning process. Currently the learning prcess is still monotonous or manual. Based on the above problems, the researcher wants to make an application as a learning tool based on android. This application contains materials. This application is also equipped with practice questions in accordance with the student’s major. The application of the learning model is one of the duties of the teacher to assist student development in learning outcomes. However, in general student view knowledge as a tool that must be memorized, so a learning model that empowers students is needed, namely a learning model that encourages students to be more active and independent. Therefore, to overcome this problem, an android-based application is needed that can be used in everyday life and as a learning medium that can be used by students to make learning easier through an android based smartphone that students can use as a fun learning medium, and make students more interested. With the android based M-learning application as the latest learning media, it makes the learning process easier. In addition, with this application learning becomes more affective and afficient.

Abstract

Application of information systems has been widely used in various fields including in the field of education. This study aims to examine the factors that influence interest in the use of information systems, performance expectations on the use of information systems at STMIK ABC. The method used by the author in collecting this data is a questionnaire, data processing and analysis is carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS version 3.2.8 application software. The results of this study indicate that the results of hypothesis testing on the Performance Expectations variable have a significant positive effect on the Interest in Information Systems Utilization (H1), thus H1 is accepted, while the Social Factors Variable Hypothesis test has a significant positive effect on the Interest in Information Systems Utilization (H2) in this way the results of the hypothesis variable Condition Facilitating the User has a positive effect on the Interest in Using Information Systems (H3) so that H3 is accepted. The results of this test identify the variable performance expectations, social factors and conditions that facilitate the user to influence the user's interest in the use of information systems so that it can help improve performance in improving the quality of work output and further improve the quality of teaching and learning at STMIK ABC.

Abstract

Information extraction is part of natural language processing, aiming to find, retrieve, or process information. The data source for information extraction is text. Text cannot be separated from people's daily lives. Through text, a lot of confidential information can be obtained. To produce information, the unstructured text will be converted into structured data. There are many approaches that researchers take to this process. Most of the studies are in English. Therefore, this paper will present current research trends, challenges, and information extraction opportunities using Indonesian.

Abstract

In managing the administrative data of loading and unloading production suction vessels at PT. Gusti Glori Sukses still uses manual administrative data management. All recapitulation of company administrative documents is still archived on sheets of paper, document preparation is still manual, which is considered less effective and efficient. Because data collection is still inaccurate, the effect on report presentation and administrative data processing tends to be slow. So that PT. Gusti Glori Sukses wants to have an information system for managing the loading and unloading administrative data of production suction vessels that is accessed internally which makes it easier for the company to run the company's operations smoothly. An information system that is made must be effective and in accordance with needs. The research method used in the development of this information system uses object-oriented design and analysis methods, with the FAST model, and the tools used are the Unified Modeling Language (UML). With the implementation of the information system for loading and unloading production suction vessels at PT. Gusti Glori Sukses based on computerization, all problems faced can be resolved, so that the administration of loading and unloading production suction boats can run optimally so that it becomes more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Information technology that is currently developing does not only apply to the world of information technology but has developed into other fields of work that require information technology to support the needs of their field. Services in information technology have been implemented by the District Internet Service Center (PLIK) Bangka Belitung to support government programs. Research conducted at PLIK aims to see and assess how PLIK's performance, especially Mobile PLIK, to the service level of their partners' satisfaction. During the PLIK research, researchers wanted to measure their level of service. The level of service that is measured is by looking at the implementation of the SLA (Service Level Agreement) that they have contracted with the user to what extent. So, the researchers took the data by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. After all, data is needed, the COBIT 4.0 Framework becomes a reference for researchers to examine this service level with the Delivery and Support (DS) domain on each item. The conclusion from the whole research process is that Mobile PLIK has measured their service maturity level (Maturity Level) at layer 4, namely Managed and Measurable. However, there are several districts that are still at layer 3, namely Define. Define that they have targeted and planned every measure of their work steps and of course they can improve the services provided to partners and be reciprocal to partner satisfaction with PLIK. Unlike the case with Define, layer 4 is Managed and Measurable, which means that Mobile PLIK has been organized and can be measured in conducting every agreement between partners and PLIK, so that its implementation can be accounted for every item in the domain.

Abstract

The internet is one medium that can be used as a marketing medium for a business. The internet has never been spared from technological developments which at present have experienced a very rapid increase, one of which is technological developments in the field of commerce. In the world of commerce there is the term e-commerce or electronic commerce. The user basically will do an assessment in every transaction he does, both conventional transactions and digital transactions. The better the service provided by the service provider, the more likely the user to return to using the service means that the user is satisfied using the application. This study discusses the satisfaction of users of online shopping applications PT. ABC International Indonesia. Analysis of user satisfaction is measured using the End user computing satisfaction (EUCS) method which consists of 5 factors, namely: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire filled out by users of PT. ABC International Indonesia. To process the data obtained from the results of the questionnaire using SPSS software. From the analysis conducted, it shows that the content, accuracy, format, ease of use and timeliness variables proposed by all hypotheses are accepted. While based on the F test shows the content, accuracy, format, ease of use and timeliness variables simultaneously affect the satisfaction of users of online shopping applications.

Abstract

Every business always initiated by an individual or group idea in the context of seeking benefits and profits. Meanwhile, strategy is a way to realize the ideas. This research aims to find and clarify the ideas of business owners in the form of a vision, mission, and other views related to XYZ Hotel. Hotel XYZ is a two-star hotel located in Palembang City where competition with economical hotel brands and digital disruption cannot be avoided at the time this research was made, so needs a business strategy and strategy IS / IT. Based on these ideas, the authors formulate an information system strategy by evaluating the achievement indicators of ideas, analyzing business environment and IS / IT analysis, and projecting existing IS / IT to achieve the idea of ​​XYZ Hotel owner using Ward dan Peppard method.

Abstract

The Integrated Lab Journal website is an e-journal website published by Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta State Islamic University as a medium for scientific papers on laboratory education. This research instrument uses the webqual method which consists of 3 variables, namely usability, information quality, and service interaction quality and 23 indicators. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis in this study identifies indicators that need to be maintained or improved based on user perceptions and expectations. Webqual Testing involved 100 academics from various universities in Indonesia. The highest gap value is found in the usability variable (u5), which is u5 regarding the appearance of an attractive website with a gap value of -0.830. The results of the IPA analysis show indicators that need improvement, namely u3, i4, i6, and s3. These indicators relate to the ease of navigating the website, relevant information and according to user needs, detailed and complete information, and a sense of security when providing personal information. Indicators that are rated good by the user are in quadrant I, namely u1, u4, u7, u10, i1, i2, i5, s2, and s6. These indicators relate to ease of operation, ease of use, good functioning, effective search, accuracy of information, reliable information, easy to understand information, confidence in publication, and confidence in the editorial process. Abstract

PT Telkom Akses has fairly many employees, some of these employees still have status as contract employees, The employee's employment contract lasts for one year and then at the end of each period of the employee's contract there will be a performance evaluation which includes several criteria to determine whether the employee gets a contract extension or not. The number of employees of PT Telkom Akses with the status of contract employees is not small and the assessment process that is still manual becomes an obstacle in the assessment process because it is difficult and requires a lot of time. In determining employee work contracts, subjectivity often arises from managers or coworkers who can influence the decision making process regarding employee employment contracts. The criteria for evaluating employee work contracts include appraisal, absenteeism, BPJS employment, and employee position. The results of this study obtained a value of 0.90 on the validation of the Spearman Correlation Coefficient calculation. So the system is feasible to be used in the determination of employee employment contract at PT. Telkom Access REG IV.

Abstract

Sign languages ​​have many types, one of them is the American Sign Language (ASL). This study uses the ASL alphabet handshape image extracted with the Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) feature and the resulting feature is used for the Random Forest classification. The test results show that using the HOG feature and the Random Forest classification method for ASL recognition gives a good accuracy rate, with an overall accuracy value of 99.10%, an average accuracy value per class of 77.43%, an average value of precision 88.81%, and an average recall value of 88.65%.
