Abstract

Crying is a baby's way of communicating. The sound of crying can be used to identify problems in babies, such as hunger, pain, drowsiness, fatigue, discomfort, coldness or heat, and others. However, not everyone can recognize the meaning of the crying baby. The combination of MFCC and DWT features was used in this study as an extraction feature in baby crying sounds. In this study, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method is used to classify the meanings of sounds from babies crying. The dataset used in this study is a public dataset consisting of a total of 61 training data and 30 testing data. The types of crying babies used in this study were hunger, fatigue, discomfort, and stomach ache. Based on the test results, the MFCC and CNN features obtained a precision of 32.76%, a recall of 32.63%, and an accuracy of 73.33%. The combination of MFCC and DWT features (Mean, Standard Deviation, Range, Max) and CNN obtained a precision of 50.91%, a recall of 44.23%, and an accuracy of 73.33%.

Abstract

The application of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) technology to utilize the available solar energy potential is the right solution in reducing dependence on PLN energy providers. However, some PLTS are not equipped with current and voltage monitoring tools, including the PLTS at the LKC Dompet Duaffa clinic in Palembang which is not equipped with current and voltage monitoring tools. When the inverter works, the battery should be separated from the inverter, this is intended to prevent the battery from over-discharge because the output power of the inverter when on grid will work at its maximum Therefore, developing a current and voltage monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT) so that it can be monitored remotely and will regulate the charging and discharging mechanism of the battery in the PLTS configuration, so that the continuity of inverter operation can be maintained in supplying loads.

Abstract

This study presents a unique combination of feature extraction techniques and recognition methods that work well on more than one standard face dataset. The main focus in this research is how to obtain the features of each face image to distinguish faces from each other by applying the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method as feature extraction, and the Minimum Distance Classifier as the recognition algorithm so that recognition results can be obtained. To achieve this goal, a literature study is needed to understand the concepts and theoretical basis in order to strengthen the assumptions of the Principal Component Analysis and Minimum Distance Classifier methods. The results of the recognition using ORL database get 97% accuracy, while the results of the recognition using YALE database get 94.6% accuracy. So it can be concluded that the combination of PCA and Minimum Distance Classifier can provide a quick and simple solution by increasing or without reducing standard accuracy.

Abstract

The growth of the game trend today tends to be mobile games.There are still a few games that introduce traditional games to the younger generation, especially for children, so there is a lack of children's knowledge about traditional games, for example, Setatak game. Setatak is a traditional game played by jumping over a box drawn on a flat surface on the ground, jumping from one box to another using only one leg. Along with advances in technology, in order to maintain and preserve traditional games, traditional games are made based on Android in 2D. The method used is the Finite State Machine (FSM) method. Finite State Machine (FSM) method, which is a control system design that describes the behavior or working principles of the system using the following three things: State, Event and action. The application of the FSM method in this game is to regulate the behavior of the system, namely the movement of the player's feet from one box to another during the game.With the existence of this game application, children can understand and be able to play game games as well. The test results show that the game can be played, liked and interested by children as well as increase children's knowledge about traditional games setatak

Abstract

Student graduation data at a university, especially a study program, plays a very important role in evaluating the success of the educational program given to students. The education program is said to be good if the accuracy of student graduation is also good. In connection with the effort to evaluate educational programs in a study program, a study is needed to explore information from student graduation patterns with the Knowledge Discovering Database (KDD) data mining technique which includes the stages of data selection, preprocessing, data transformation, mining processes, and evaluation. The mining process uses the ID3 and C45 algorithms which are used to build a decision tree model. Based on the results of the implementation of the ID3 and C45 algorithms on student graduation testing data using RStudio, the highest accuracy value obtained by the C4.5 algorithm is 81.88% on the 30% testing data. Overall the results of the implementation of the data composition of 90%, 80%, 70%, 30%, 20%, and 10% obtained information that the accuracy value generated using the C4.5 algorithm is on average higher than the accuracy value of the ID3 algorithm. Thus it can be concluded that the best algorithm to predict the accuracy of student graduation is the C45 algorithm. Keywords— ID3 Algorithm, C45 Algorithm, Accuracy, Prediction

Abstract

Rumah Susun Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi applies manual service management so that there are several obstacles that hinder the service process for apartment residents, namely, there is no website-based service system that can accommodate complaints or complaints from residents of the apartment. Therefore, the Website-Based "RUSUN" application with the analysis method of Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, Service (PIECES) so as to overcome the obstacles that occur and can increase the effectiveness in providing services to residents of flats.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the e-Rapor acceptance of junior high school using Extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by including Self-Efficacy factor in the model. Data collection instrument in the form of questionnaire consisting of 19 points of statement and using 5 Point-Likert scale. The respondents were 60 e-Rapor users at public junior high school in Banjarmasin. The research data was analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. Based on the results of the study, it is known that Self-Efficacy has a directly positive and significant influence on the Behavioral Intention to use e-Rapor.

Abstract

The Indonesia government implements a Quality Assurance System (QAS) of a Higher Education (HE) for realizing the quality education. Muhammadiyah manages several Muhammadiyah/’Aisyiyah College (MAC) with SPM Business Processes Management (BPM) as a form of achieving the quality of a National Higher Education Standards. A Quality Assurance (QA) of the HE is set in a Quality Standards (QS). The number of criteria and relationships with the QA activities become an issue which is appointed in this research. The research is focused on the analysis of the decision-making method Weighted Sum Model (WSM) in the Decision Support System (DSS). The research objective is the use of decision-making methods in the form of DSS using the WSM algorithm and testing the use of these algorithms in the implementation of the QAS in MAC. The WSM algorithm is used and tested on a quality standard database with comparison variables between methods, namely relevance, characteristics, accuracy, precision, reliability, effectiveness, efficiency, strength, and weaknesses.The results and analysis of the research is the use of the WSM algorithm to determine the priorities of the 11 HE Business Processes to inform PTMA Leaders in predicting strategic activities. The analysis process has been carried out and it is found that the WSM algorithm is used in the PTMA SPM with a test assessment score of 94%. Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxes is intensively implementing Tax Reform chapter 3. The digitization of tax administration is carried out as the realization of one of its pillars; information technology and database. Despite the progress achieved, some taxation services are still held without adequate support of information systems, including VAT exemption for Foreign Representatives and International Organizations. The aims of this research are to dig deeper into the problems which arise in the VAT exemption process for Foreign Representatives and International Organizations as well as to seek solutions to them by implementing Framework for the Application of Systems Thinking (FAST) methodology. This research employs qualitative method with a case study approach conducted at the DGT. The data collection was conducted through observation, document analysis, and interviews with the DGT’s employees involved in the process. This research shows that without the support of an integrated information system, the VAT exemption process for Foreign Representatives and International Organizations does not run effectively and efficiently. This research resulted in logical designs and web-based information system prototypes applicable to solve the problems in the VAT exemption process for Foreign Representatives and International Organizations.

Abstract

The development of information technology has touched the process within the scope of the university in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work. One of the examples is the management tool at State Agricultural Polytechnic of Payakumbuh which is less efficient due to applying a manual system. State Agricultural Polytechnic of Payakumbuh is Vocational education of which has the meeting of 70% practice, the equipment and material requirements are submitted every semester by the supervisor before the lecture begins. Submission the equipment and material requirements are types/materials, the number of tools/materials, used at the meeting keberapa, location/labor. By using the current manual system which is less efficient in the management requires an information system to facilitate the submission of tools and practice materials. The process of making this information system using the Method of Extreme Programming (XP). Extreme Programming (XP) is selected due to the software that will be made less complex and is classified as small software and also requires short development time. Where Stages of this method is Panning, Design, Coding, Testing. Results of the Development of Information System for Tool Management and Practice Material will be an application that will help speed up the process of submitting Tools and Practice Materials. The application is made with the programming language PHP and the database is MySQL. While for framework using CodeIgniter and Bootstrap.
