Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the independent variables (price, location, promotion, and service) had on the dependent variable (product purchasing decisions), either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted at the Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Kampung Sejahtera Mandiri, Teras Pancasila, Tangerang City, Banten. The sample used was taken by simple random sampling method as many as 100 consumers. Collecting data through field studies by distributing questionnaires to 100 consumers, as well as observations and interviews with SMEs in Kampung Sejahtera Mandiri Teras Pancasila, Tangerang City, Banten. Statistical data analysis used validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, coefficient of determination, t test (partial test), and F test (simultaneous test), with the SPSS 25 statistical tool. significant on the dependent variable with the results obtained that the value of tcount price is 2,602 > ttable 1.65 and probability 0.0011 < 0.05, t-count value for location is 2.111 > ttable 1.65 and probability 0.0037 < 0.05, t-count promotion value is 6.101 > ttable 1.65 and probability of 0.0000 < 0.05, and the value of t count service is 6.648 > t table 1.65 and probability 0.000 < 0.05. The F test shows that the independent variable simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable with the results obtained that the Fcount value is 128.419 > Ftable 3.87 and the probability value is 0.000 <0.05. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 56.3%, meaning that the independent variables (price, location, promotion, and service) have a simultaneous influence of 56.3% on the dependent variable (product purchasing decisions), and the remaining 100% - 56.3% = 43.7% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Quality assurance has become the most critical behavior to expand business across the country. To assure the quality of the product, every employee should understand the knowledge about the standard operating procedure and quality assessment requirement, so the enterprise should manage and share knowledge with each employee in the organization. The best way to manage and share knowledge is knowledge sharing among employees, defined as knowledge sharing behavior. This research examines the role of extrinsic motivation dan intrinsic motivation to enhance employee’s knowledge sharing behavior (KSB). This empirical study aims to confirm and examine these types of motivation that influence KSB. Self-determined theory (SDT) and social exchange theory (SCT) are used to understand the role of motivation and organizational context that influence employee KSB. Research models are analyzed using structural equation modeling partial least square (SEM-PLS). The result is finding a positive effect of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation to determine employees (KSB) who support SDT and SCT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the level of work-life balance, the level of employee turnover intention, and the effect of work-life balance on the turnover intention of employees at the head office of Perum BULOG Jakarta. The sample in this study as many as 86 employees with a sampling technique that is the probability sampling. In addition, the data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, simple linear analysis, classical assumption test, coefficient of determination, and t test using the SPSS version 26 application to process the data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the level of employee work-life balance is in the high category, the level of employee turnover intention is in the low category, and the results of simple linear regression analysis show that the work-life balance has a significant negative effect on turnover intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of capital intensity, sales growth, leverage on tax avoidance and profitability as a moderator. Tax Avoidance in this study was measured using the cash effective tax rate (CETR) approach and leverage was measured using the debt to equity ratio (DER). Profitability as a moderating variable is measured using return on assets (ROA). The research sample uses food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is a purposive sampling approach. The number of companies used in this study were 11 companies with a research period span of five years, so the number of samples used in this study was 55 samples. The model in this study uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that the variables of capital intensity and sales growth have an effect on tax avoidance. On the other hand, leverage proxies with DER has no effect on tax avoidance. The results of this study can also prove that profitability is proxyed by return on assets to moderate the effect of leverage on tax avoidance. On the other hand, profitability as proxied by return on assets cannot moderate the effect of capital intensity and sales growth on tax avoidance.

Abstract

Changes in lifestyle and the rapid development of the cosmetic industry have caused consumers to become more selective in determining the brand or product to be used. However, the main thing that triggers consumer loyalty to Wardah is still dominated by halal labels. The number of new brands emerging and the decline in index value signifies that Wardah must increase customer loyalty. According to research, several factors influencing consumer loyalty are brand trust and product quality. This study is a research with a quantitative approach, this study uses descriptive data analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis, with the number of samples used as many as 100 respondents, the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. This study indicates that based on the multiple linear regression analysis techniques, it is known that, partially, the brand trust variable (X1) does not affect the consumer loyalty variable (Y). With the same analysis technique, it is known that the product quality variable (X2) significantly influences consumer loyalty (Y). Simultaneously, the variables brand trust (X1) and product quality (X2) significantly affect consumer loyalty (Y)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stock prices, stock trading volume, and stock return volatility on the bid-ask spread on the LQ45 index of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The period used in this study is four quarters during 2019. The technique used in sampling is by using purposive sampling and obtained 32 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially the stock price had a negative and significant effect on the bid-ask spread as indicated by the t-count value of -3.964077 > t-table 1.649 and the value of Prob. 0.001 < 0.05 . The stock trading volume variable partially has no effect on the bid-ask spread as indicated by the t-count value of 0.177347 < t Table 1.649 and the value of Prob. 0.8595 > 0.05. Then the stock return volatility variable has no effect on the bid-ask spread as indicated by the t arithmetic value of 0.634639 < t Table 1.649 and the value of Prob. 0.5268 > 0.05. Simultaneously F-statistic 5.93433 > F Table 2.68 and the value of Prob (Fstatistic) 0.000814 <0.05, it can be concluded that the variables of Stock Price (X1), Stock Trading Volume (X2) and Stock Return Volatility (X3) jointly affect the Bid-Ask Spread (Y).

Abstract

Along with the rampant investment trends among millennials, questions arise regarding whether there are differences in the characteristics of investment intention between males and females. This study uses independent samples t-test to try to answer those questions, using risk aversion and locus of control as predictors of investment intention. Questionnaires were distributed to Universitas Ciputra’s students in management study program who have participated in investment webinars and therefore have knowledge about investment. 91 samples were collected using purposive sampling. The findings indicate that females are more risk averse and tend to have external LOC, therefore they are less likely to invest compared to males. Furthermore, risk aversion will be more dominant in males who have external LOC, while risk aversion will be very dominant for females who have internal LOC. These findings conclude that there is significant difference in the characteristics of investment intention between males and females.

E-book is the manifestation of the provision of profound knowledge through digital access with all its strengths and weaknesses. This study aims to identify which one that Tangerang people are more preferred; reading physical books or e-books. This study used qualitative-descriptive method. The data sources used were the result of a 10-day online survey and literature study as the secondary data. Research results indicate that based on the categories of the easiness in obtaining reading materials, and price, e-books are more superior because they are easily obtained and affordable. However, based on the comfort-wise category, physical books still become the preference of Tangerang people because they are clearer, appealing, and prevent eyestrain
