Abstract

Resilience is the ability of individuals in surviving to overcome the problems that exist in life and be able to develop from adversity and misery so as to be able to adapt and deal with unpleasant conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and resilience in mothers who have children with Down syndrome in Jakarta. In this study using two variables, namely family support and resilience. The population of this study was 55 respondents. Data collection uses a Likert scale and uses saturation sampling. The results shows that rx1y of 0.428 and p = 0.001 (p <0.05) Ho = rejected Ha1: there is a significant relationship and direction of a positive correlation between family social support and resilience among mothers who have children with down syndrome in Jakarta is accepted.

Abstract

The digital era of the dynamic industrial revolution 4.0, requires companies to quickly innovate to make products that can meet the needs of consumers and released in a short time. This method is to answer the company's efforts to stay ahead of competitors. Building software requires a framework to facilitate the planning, development and maintenance. The Scrum method can be used as a framework for developing software interoperability with a faster time (Agile). Scrum was made by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber, who was a developer in the mid-1990s in America. Thanks to this finding, it can lead technology companies like Amazon, Google, and Facebook to become giants until now. The Scrum method has a work pattern of breaking jobs into smaller tasks (tasks) and is distributed among the Development Team on a regular basis in a short cycle of time so that system development can be completed quickly. Scrum is recommended for project types that are not deadline oriented, with creative and high-quality product targets. Because Scrum's focus is on the process, with iteratives and targets per Sprint, it is hoped that each piece of product will be better than the previous Sprint. The advantages of the Scrum method in this study such as the work pattern of breaking work into tasks that are evenly distributed to all development teams to be completed in a fast work cycle requires excessive accuracy in determining the Backlog.

Abstract

Hindu cosmology in Palinggih Kiwa Tengen, is an element of balance in the worship of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa as the almighty power of the universe in terms of making a balance of life in the world and the hereafter. The teachings of this religion as a source of life balance and continuity of mind and body. Furthermore, there are elements of the union of the Great Bhuwana and in Bhuwana Alit and their contents all were created by God, beginning with Sunia Loka with two elements namely Purusa and Pradhana. This Hindu cosmology can better understand the concept of the creation of the universe or universe. In the concept of temples in form and the structure of temples with seven levels or mandalas is a reflection of the creation of this world.

Abstract

Mass communication is a process of delivering messages / information to the general public. Communication is conveyed through a container that is the mass media. Mass media as a place to convey messages / information from the mass communication process has 4 (four) mass media functions, namely the information function, the educational function, the entertainment function, and the influence function. The four media functions will be linked to the YouTube channel by the local community of Loloan, the "Loloan Project" in the mass media function. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative research type, where the researcher will explain the result in the words. In the data collection stage, researchers used in-depth interviews with relevant informants, observation techniques as observers what elements of the mass media function contained in the youtube channel "Loloan project", then documentation techniques, namely research will present data in the form of photos / image from a video clip that the screenshoot researcher has. The results and discussion obtained from this research are where the researchers took several videos available on YouTube "Loloan Project" such as, comedy videos because of ML, comedy videos "when love rhymed" episodes 1 & 2, Loloan era Lame culture festival, drama studio pilot. "Election socialization", tradition of celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad in Loloan, and "Really Merdeka" official music video. The seven films that have been selected by researchers are associated with the concept of the function of the mass media. That the YouTube channel belonging to "Loloan Project" contains all of these elements.

Abstract

Project-based learning in learning activities carried out online or learning from home, is expected to be a learning model, packaged attractively, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills to solve the problems being faced, and able to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action based research study with two cycles, the method of collecting data with tests, questionnaires, interviews and observations, analyzed with quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed the average critical thinking ability in the first cycle was 72.5% with a good category, increasing in the second cycle to 88.3% with a very good category. The average learning outcomes of the first cycle was 79.7% with good categories and the second cycle was 80.8% with good categories. The application of the Project Based Learning model based on lesson study through online learning, is able to improve the critical thinking skills of students with excellent categories, and the learning outcomes of class XI TB 1 students at SMK PGRI 1 Badung with good categories.

Abstract

Population and UMR are factors contributing to the pace of development of unemployment. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of population and UMR on the amount of unemployment in North Sumatera province. The method of analysis used is multiple regression analysis with the help of software EViews 9. The secondary data used is data time series 2007-2019 period taken from North Sumatra in numbers. An independent variable consists of population and UMR while the dependencies variable is unemployment amount. The results showed that the total population and UMR variables have a significant effect on the total unemployment in the province of North Sumatra.

Abstract

Whatsapp as one of the most popular social media and widely used by people in Indonesia. In Indonesia on the Covid 19 pandemic today many students are already using gadgets in their daily activities both on campus and off campus. Most of these students use social media applications, especially Whatsapp which is easy to use as a distance learning media. This study aims to determine the role of Whatsapp social media in Distance Learning in addition to communicating and delivering messages in lecture material. WhatsApp also provides information services related to lecture learning programs that are connected in a Whatsapp group between Lecturers and Students. This paper also aims to see how to use WhatsApp as a Distance learning media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, interactive data analysis techniques through observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that whatsapp social media as a learning media is very instrumental in the lecture process that serves as a means of education, an evaluation tool, a means of connecting information, and a means of consulting services.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce appropriate e-modules as problem based learning media for class X (2) determine the feasibility of e-modules by referring to the teaching material criteria specified by the Ministry of National Education, (3) knowing the evaluation results Class X students after using the e-module based on problem based learning. This research is a type of research development of R&D (Research and Development) with reference to the ADDIE development model including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects of this study include 2 media expert lecturers, 1 lecturer and 1 subject matter expert teacher, and class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The object of this study is the e-module learning instruments used to assess the feasibility of e-modules include the eligibility assessment sheet by material experts, the eligibility assessment sheet by media experts, and student questionnaire responses to the use of e-modules. The results showed (1) e-module learning developed into E-Module Concept Management Based On Problem Based Learning for class X students, (2) the e-module developed was declared to be feasible with the average score obtained by material experts at 3.46 , media experts amounted to 3.19, and by student responses amounted to 3.19 so that the feasibility of the developed e-module was included in the "Very Good" category, (2) the results of student learning evaluations obtained a percentage of 85.71% in the high success criteria category.

Abstract

Currently, private television faces the challenges of the digital broadcast industry. Even so, television stations still have the potential to survive through the industrial competition by giving shows that have an impact to the audience. In the face of competition, social adjustment and integration are very important, but another thing that must also be fulfilled is how to increase the viewers involvement. This study aims to understand the factors that affect the viewer's intentions to get involved in a television program using the theory of Uses and Gratifications approach. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data in the form of a Likert scale. The population in this study is the audience of Indian television drama series on ANTV. According to the Nielsen ABG data in the October-December 2019, 100 respondents were determined as research samples. Data analysis was performed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results in this study indicate Entertainment / Relaxation (T Stat = 3,652), Social Escape & Interaction (T Stat = 2,269) Pass Time (T Stat = 2,549), and Companionship (T Stat = 3,850) proved to have a significant positive effect on Watching engagement. Research shows that Watching engagement strongly (85%) influences the independent variables. However, Information seeking was the only insignificant variable for watching engagement. This open an opportunities for a further research to explore the potential relationships and influences that can be optimized in the approach to the needs of the motives of use and fulfillment of the needs (Uses and Gratifications) of television media with studies related to Watching Engagement, especially in other television serial drama programs in similar industries.

Abstract

Currently Child Trafficking in Bandar Lampung has become a problem that needs to be taken seriously, marked by the increasing number of cases that have arisen, particularly child trafficking through sexual exploitation, with a different modus operandi of crime. There are various forms of modus operandi that are used by actors in carrying out their actions, ranging from persuasion, fraud, or threats with violence. From this description, I am interested in researching about, What is the modus operandi of child trafficking in Bandar Lampung, how is the handling of child trafficking in Bandar Lampung? What are the barriers to handling child trafficking in Bandar Lampung? The research method used is normative legal research law that uses literature or empirical material that is sourced from interviews with several sources. The results showed that the form of modus operandi for cases of trafficking in persons / children in Bandar Lampung, namely Fraud by Fraud Employees Against Child Labor, Child Labor Similar to Modern Slavery, Prostitution Crimes through Social Media, Child Trafficking through Illegal Adoption, Kidnapping of Children Suspected By Organ Trafficking Syndicate. Furthermore, the number of cases in the city of Bandar Lampung increased in number from year to year, therefore the need for response to these cases. Crime prevention consists of three main parts, namely Pre-Emictive, Non-Penal Efforts that are Preventive, Penal Efforts that are Repressive. Then the Barriers to the Elimination of the Criminal Act of Child Trafficking in the City of Bandar Lampung, namely the legal substance aspects, legal structure aspects.
