Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work meaningfulness and job involvement on organizational commitment among employees of Butik Puspita Kebaya Salatiga, both simultaneously and partially. A quantitative approach was employed using an explanatory survey method, involving the entire population of 36 employees through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering three main variables: organizational commitment, work meaningfulness, and job involvement. The results indicate that simultaneously, work meaningfulness and job involvement have a significant effect on organizational commitment, as evidenced by a significance  value  of  0.000  and  an  F-value  of 121.941, which exceeds the F-table value of 3.28. Partially, work meaningfulness has a significant effect on organizational commitment with a significance value of 0.001 and a t-value of 3.793, greater than the t-table value of 2.03452. Similarly, job involvement also significantly influences organizational commitment, with a significance value of 0.011 and a t-value of 2.703, exceeding the t-table threshold. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.881, indicating that 88.1% of the variation  in  organizational  commitment  is explained by work meaningfulness and job involvement, while the remaining 11.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of job stress and work motivation on the quality of work life (QWL) among nurses at Salatiga City General Hospital. QWL is a critical factor in fostering a productive and supportive work environment for healthcare professionals. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. A total of 158 nurses were selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert- scale questionnaire measuring three main variables: job stress, work motivation, and quality of work life. The multiple regression analysis revealed that job stress has a significant negative effect on QWL, while work motivation has a significant positive effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence nurses’ quality of work life. These findings highlight the importance of stress management and motivation enhancement strategies in improving nurses’ well-being and the overall quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

Understanding the dynamics that influence student engagement and academic performance amidst increasingly complex academic challenges and pressures is crucial. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the relationships between variables and to examine the impact of academic stress and self- regulated learning on academic flow. This research employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 366 students, selected using stratified random sampling. Data collection methods include interviews and psychological scales, specifically the academic stress scale, the self-regulated learning scale, and the academic flow scale. Reliability testing was conducted using Cronbach's alpha, and data analysis involved descriptive analysis, normality tests, and linearity tests. The results indicate a negative relationship between academic stress and academic flow (r = -0.145, p = 0.005) and a positive relationship between self-regulated learning and academic flow (r = 0.654, p = 0.000). Academic stress accounts for 1.7% of the variance in academic flow, while self-regulated learning accounts for 43%, with the remaining 55.3% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Married adults have greater responsibilities than unmarried adults. They should be responsible for themselves, their partners, and their children, if any. This research is a quantitative research using a population of 240 respondents as a sample, the sample technique used is quota sampling, which is a technique to determine samples from populations that have certain characteristics to the desired number of Sugiyono (2016). And the Critical Thinking Questionnaire scale instrument created by Alexander, et al (2022) with a validity value of 0.94 and a reliability Alpha Cronbach value of 0.871. In the instrument, the adhesion uses a self- arranged scale by racing on Collin's theory (1996) with a validity value with a value range from 0,81 – 1,00 and an Alpha Cronbach reliability value of 0,821. Furthermore, the intensity of accessing pornography is arranged by itself in a race on Ajzen's theory (1991) with a validity value with a value range from 0.94 and an Alpha Cronbach reliability value of 0,837.The results of the research on the spearman rank test have a relationship between attachment and intensity of accessing pornography with a value of r = -259, p =0,000 (p< 0.05), then critical thinking with intensity of accessing pornography with a value of r = - 386, p = 0,000 (p< 0.05). This shows that the higher the attachment, the lower the intensity of accessing pornography and the higher the critical thinking, the lower the intensity of accessing pornography

Research shows there is a significant relationship between friendship quality and happiness with r = 0.256; p < 0.000. There is a relationship between self-esteem and happiness with r = 0.300; p < 0.000. The results of multiple regression tests show that there is an effect of friendship quality and self-esteem on happiness with a value of (F = 15.495. p <0.05).

Abstract

Teachers in primary schools play an important role in the early education of their students. Research in one region of Indonesia revealed that 73% of teachers experienced high job stress, so a teacher must have resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work-family conflict and self- compassion on resilience in teachers. This study used a quantitative approach, involving 74 female teachers from 5 SDN Sindangmulya Cibarusah. The data collection methods in this study were interviews and psychological scales. The research instruments used were The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale Self (CD-RISC), Work Family Conflict Scale, and Self Compassion Scale. Instrument reliability test using Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation test and simple linear regression. The correlation test results show a value of r = -0.558, p = 0.000 which means there is a moderate and significant negative relationship between family work conflict and resilience. Then the correlation test value of r = 0.787, p = 0.000 which means that there is a strong and significant positive relationship between self-compassion and resilience
