Educan: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is a journal published by Islamic Education Departement Faculty of Education University of Darussalam Gontor. ISSN : 2597-9043. It publishes only original papers on Islamic education. Educan is a scientific media to develop the quality of academicians in Islamic universities in Indonesia, especially in the University of Darussalam Gontor. The aim of Educan journal is to publish high-quality articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of Islamic education. The scope of this journal is about Islamic Education, Moral Education, Education of Pesantren (Pondok), Education Technology, Learning Methods, Curriculum Design and Development. It was first published in 2017 in press version and published by an online system in 2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji model organisasi kurikulum berbasis pesantren pada mata pelajaran PAI di Pondok Pesantren Raudhatus Salaam Yogyakarta. Kurikulum, sebagai program pendidikan yang sistematis, berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik, khususnya di era modern yang membutuhkan keseimbangan antara pendidikan agama dan akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum PAI di pondok ini menggunakan model integrated curriculum, memadukan kurikulum Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional dan Kulliyataul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Pendekatan ini mendukung sinergi antara pendidikan akademik nasional dan keislaman khas pesantren. Model ini relevan untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, khususnya dalam menjawab tantangan integrasi nilai-nilai agama dengan kebutuhan pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan desain kurikulum pesantren yang lebih adaptif, menawarkan solusi praktis bagi institusi pendidikan Islam untuk menghadapi dinamika zaman.

Abstract

This research examines the cultivation of moral values in Islamic Religious Education learning to face the millennial era at MTs Dharut Tholibin. The research aims to analyze strategies, methods, and challenges in instilling moral values to millennial generation students. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through learning observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, school principal, and students, as well as documentation study. The results show that moral values cultivation is implemented through integration of digital technology with traditional learning, role modeling, religious practice habituation, and mentoring programs. Challenges faced include social media influence, digital lifestyle, and declining student interest in conventional learning. Adaptive strategies implemented include the use of digital learning media, interactive discussions on contemporary issues, and learning approaches relevant to students' lives. This research contributes to the development of effective Islamic Religious Education learning models for shaping the character of the millennial generation.
