Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe in depth the process of implementing the management of the Sekar Teratai Buddhist Sunday School (SMB). This research will use a qualitative research approach. The data collection techniques of this research will use observation, interview and documentation study techniques. The research procedure used in this study consisted of several research steps with the Robert case study method. The results of this study are 1) SMB does not have a good management plan, 2) the teaching and learning process has not been planned and structured in a measured and systematic manner, 3) the utilization of facilities and infrastructure has not been maximally carried out 4) Loyalty of administrators, teachers and parents is high. Keywords: Management, Non-Formal Education, Buddhist Sunday School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities of Buddhists at the Dharma Dwipa Temple during the Covid 19 pandemic, the psychological impact and effectiveness of Buddhist reading of the Ratana Sutta in facing the Covid 1 pandemic. The research result show that, Covid 19 pandemic caused limited activities of Buddhists at the Dharma Dwipa Temple, Ponorogo district and the general public. The psychological impact of the spread of the corona virus that is felt is the emergence of fear, anxiety and even panic buying.The quantitative data shows that the effectiveness of the reading of the Ratana Sutta by the Buddhist Dharma Dwipa monastery is very good, this is supported by percentage of 47.3% . Buddhist figures give advice and carry out the recitation of the Ratana Sutta both at the monastery and at home during the devotional service while adhering to health protocols. The reading of the ratana sutta is very effective and precise, because it conditions the mind to be calm and can be a solution to dealing with the psychological impact of the Buddhist Dharma Dwipa Buddhist monastery during the Covid 19 pandemic.  Keywords: The effectiveness, Ratana Sutta, Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Since the first, the Indonesian government has taken various actions to eradicate corruption, but it turns out that corruption tends to exist and continues to increase both in quantity and quality. The disease of corruption that afflicts our nation cannot be left alone, a solution must be found, namely by exploring the values of anti-corruption education that exist in the local wisdom of the Balinese people, such as; the value of honesty, namely the teachings of Tri Kaya Pari Sudha (think good, say good and do good). Purusa Artha's chess teachings also teach to behave honestly in seeking Artha (wealth), discipline, namely the voice of the kulkul which means calling the community to come on time, courage, which is mesantalan activities, justice, namely the same teachings, different, funds and danda, hard work is there feeling embarrassed, independence, namely the teachings of swadharma, caring, namely the teachings of tatwamasi, simplicity. Keywords: Anti-Corruption Educational Values and Local Wisdom

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain that there is a linearity between the conceptions of Jnana Marga Yoga and jengah as a local narrative in an effort to build a learning mentality as well as the resilience capability of learners to face the reality and dynamics of the 21st century. This study found the fact that verstehen paradigm in collaboration with Hindu religious propositions (Jnana Marga Yoga) + local cultural values (jengah) + pasraman existence = academic resilience (learning ethos, not quickly satisfied, not quick to give up, has a desire to grow) which is applied in the world of education. The presence of Jnana Marga Yoga and Jengah as a compendium will be more organized by institutionalizing these teachings in local educational institutions with Hindu religious based, known as Pasraman. With the presence of Pasraman, the teachings of science and resilience skills will be well organized and systematized, as an effort to deal with the reality, fluctuations and dynamics of the 21st century. Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to know the application of the value of Islamic teachings in global culture. The method used is library research, which is research that is studied through literature or literature studies. Based on the study of this article it can be concluded that there is a relationship of religion and modern culture, namely vertical to God and horizontal through social piety. Muslim thinkers and Islamic organizations also have an important role to produce quality human resources but still guided by the teachings of the Quran and Hadith. The tendency of multicultural culture can have a negative impact on Islamic values in society. For example, western culture and values are considered modern. While tradition, cultural and religious values are outdated. But the culture of globalization also provides opportunities in the application of religious values such as the easier communication and information between human beings, thus the transformation of the value of Islamic teachings is increasingly widespread.  Keywords: globalization, Islamic values, problems and strategies

Abstract

The writing of this study aims to provide an explanation of the function and meaning of genta in the understanding of pemangku. This research is qualitative, qualitative research is a method used to examine the condition of objects that occur naturally. A sociological approach is used to examine the existence of genta in the form of their functions and meanings among pemangku. Furthermore, to complete this research data, collect data through observation, interviews and literature study. The function of the genta for pemangkus is as a concentration tool, namely in every activity carried out it is necessary to have concentration in physical and mental form. Genta is identified with ongkara which is a symbol of the great universal soul or Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his full form which includes purusa and pradana, in other words genta is interpreted with the niyasa of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa.  Keywords: Function and Meaning of Genta, Understanding of Pemangku

Abstract

The meaning of Ngejot Jerimpen Galungan is besides being a symbol of sharing happiness, it is also a symbol of congratulations and prayers for the newlywed couple in their new life. Positive impact For the newlyweds they feel accepted as new members in the community and the community is also happy to welcome the newlyweds to become members of the new community and the community also congratulates the newlyweds on their new life. The Niskala (unreal) impact of the Ngejot Jerimpen Galungan Tradition is that if one of the newlyweds from the Nyitdah Traditional Village community does not carry out this tradition, it is believed that the newlyweds in living a married life will not get physical and spiritual happiness. Keywords: Keywords: ngejot, galungan, traditional village

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has given rise to various severe problems in Indonesia. It ranges from environmental issues to social issues. Women are the ones who feel the downturn as a result of this Covid-19 Pandemic. The downturn in life encourages people to rise and requires a mindset by the problems at hand. Ecofeminism is an ideology that is considered suitable for a country or a group of people to solve complex problems without harming various parties, including the environment. This paper seeks to explain the influence of ecofeminism in Indonesia to inspire the public that the ideology is by the culture and natural life in Indonesia and as an accelerator for the community's interests during the pandemic. The results obtained are the emergence of ecofeminism that is by people's lives in Indonesia and is not contradictory to the life of the nation and state.  Keywords: Ecofeminism, Women, Environment, Covid-19

Abstract

God is an object of abstraction that is difficult to understand. However, God can be understood through several methods in the science of religion. Efforts to learn and understand God are widely discussed in Hindu religious studies. One of the most widely used studies is the Brahma Tattwa study. Brahma Tattwa is a study to learn and understand God through efforts to analyze sacred literature. Holistically, the researcher used a qualitative approach in carrying out this research. The primary source is Pūrwa Bhūmi Kamulan's papyrus which has been converted into Old Javanese text and its Indonesian translation. Based on the results of the researcher's analysis, Prwa Bhūmi Kamulan's lontar emphasizes the theological aspect of God in his personification as Bhatāra Guru and Bhatārī Umā who created the world. As the name implies, namely Pūrwa Bhūmi Kamulan, this lontar does discuss more about the beginning or the beginning of the world/earth.  Keywords: Brahma Tattwa, Pūrwa Bhūmi Kamulan.
