Abstract

Curriculum renewal is a strategic agenda in responding to the challenges of globalization, technological developments, and the demands of 21st century competencies. This article discusses the urgency of curriculum transformation in Indonesian education with a focus on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum as an effort to improve the quality and relevance of learning. The main objective of this study is to explore the dynamics of curriculum renewal implementation in various geographical contexts and identify the determinants of its success. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from 15 informants in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, then analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate a significant implementation gap between regions, influenced by teacher readiness, institutional support, and infrastructure. These findings enrich the understanding of the importance of a contextual approach and policy differentiation in curriculum implementation. In conclusion, curriculum renewal will only be effective if supported by adaptive policies, ongoing training, and equal access to educational technology. Further research is recommended to use a longitudinal approach and data triangulation to deepen understanding of the process of sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

This research discusses community interaction in a village with various religions, thus creating a culture by the characteristics of Indonesian society. This research uses George Herbert Mead's mind, self, and society theory. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that the Balerejo Village community is a plural society, that respects and appreciates differences, they realize it by holding celebrations of several religions that are celebrated together, they also closely maintain unity and integrity which is realized through cooperation. Leadership in this village is also important in realizing several activities. Islam as the majority religion also has several activities that other villagers commonly carry out. In addition, the Balerejo Village community is a community that still upholds the ancestral values of Javanese society.

Abstract

The transfer of inheritance is closely related to the heir and the heir. An heir must have a relationship or bond with the heir. The sex of an heir influences the determination of the portion they will receive. The Qur'an and Hadith have clearly described and mentioned each heir and their respective parts. Therefore, the number of male heirs is more mentioned as recipients of inheritance. So, this study aims to analyze male heirs and the concept of completing their share in the study of the Qur'an and Hadith. The research method used is a qualitative method with a type of library research. In collecting the required data, the researcher searched for various books, articles, and other scientific works related to the research theme. Furthermore, the found data were analyzed descriptively with a conceptual and interpretation approach. The conclusion in this study is that male heirs are categorized into four categories: (1) heirs who inherit as ashabul furudh only. (2) heirs who receive the inheritance as ashobah only. (3) heirs who inherit as ashabul furudh and ashobah at the same time. (4) the heirs who get the inheritance are sometimes as ashabul furudh and sometimes as ashobah.

Abstract

This article explores the presence of the yellow book learning model at Islamic boarding schools amidst the rapid digitalization era. The transition from the traditional model to the digital age is highlighted by the emergence of various literary works in the form of e-books, PDFs, or applications on the Play Store that feature the yellow book along with translations. This learning model is thought to present its own challenges in addition to the classical method, allowing it to remain relevant among students. The research is categorized as field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews. The findings indicate that the Riyadlusharfi Walmantiq Islamic Boarding School, in adapting to the digital era, has maintained a modern traditional style using methods such as sorogan, bandongan, bahtsul masail, memorization (muḥāfaẓah), worship practices, and mudzakarah. The challenge of preserving the classical method is quite complex due to the ongoing advancements in science and technology, yet the classical method is regarded as the best way to transfer knowledge from the yellow book to students.

Abstract

Evaluation of the goal-oriented evaluation model on the effectiveness of the application of AICBT application in learning Islamic religious education is an evaluation with continuous, consistent implementation, checking the extent of achievement of goals with the application of AICBT (Al-Imron Computer Based Test) Web-based application which is specialized in evaluating the PAI lesson process which has the aim of obtaining knowledge both in knowing, understanding, internalizing and deepening the value of PAI teaching towards students. This research uses a type of qualitative research through a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in the form of non-participant observations, namely researchers make observations, unstructured interviews, and documentation with descriptive-analytical analysis techniques. The results of the goal-oriented evaluation model on the effectiveness of the application of AICBT application in learning Islamic religious education are very effective. Judging from the evaluation of PAI learning, SMK Al-Imron since implementing the AICBT application has improved very effectively and efficiently on the PAI learning evaluation process to be achieved. This is evidenced by statistical data from 2019 to 2023 today, both from the assessment of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, which have increased effectively (success in achieving goals) to the evaluation of PAI learning.

Abstract

Lately, in the midst of shocks about rationality, attempts to rationalize the teaching of scripture have become interesting studies, such as the efforts of Shah Waliyullah who tried to rationalize the miracle of Prophet Musa as in the form of the splitting of the Red Sea to become the ebb and flow of seawater. However, these efforts are not accompanied by seeking a dialectical connection between the views of the scripture and the scientific findings themselves. So departing from this background, this research seeks to find transposition models regarding human creation in the eyes of the Qur’an and science by using Julia Kristeva’s theory of intertextuality. The results of this study are that there are four models of transposition between the arguments of the Qur’an and science regarding human creation, namely, modification, haplology, and parallelism. Thus, scientific findings in the current era, especially the creation of humans, take inspiration from the holy book, especially the Qur’an, which is the material object in this paper.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe what Islamic literature is the material for millennial consumption in the current digital era, as well as what media millennials use as a reference in accessing Islamic literature and the extent to which the current digital era affects the Islamic literature of the millennial generation in Pekalongan Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to examine phenomena related to the Consumption of Islamic Literature for the Millennial Generation of Pekalongan Regency in the Digital Era. The results of the study stated that the Digital Era has changed the order of life, ranging from changes in behavior, ways of thinking, and ways of getting information, including the needs of the millennial generation of Islamic literature, especially in the Pekalongan Regency. where the need for the holy Qur'an has shifted to digital form, as well as the digital era provides easy access to Islamic literature needs, Besides that, literature in the current digital era makes millennials pampered with shows towards popular Islamic literature such as Islamic novels and study content from influencer figures who emigrated and become current role models. so that social media is now the most popular media channel for millennials in accessing various information, including information about Islam such as Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube, which are the most widely accessed platforms for millennials in Pekalongan Regency in fulfilling their Islamic literature needs.

Abstract

This research reveals the results of research by combining Al-Qur'an studies with socio-religious phenomena. This article will answer the question of how the spirit of religious moderation is in a plurality of multi-religious villages by collaborating with Al-Qur'an studies. The methodology used is a qualitative field-based methodology with the research object of Buntu Village, Kejajar District, Wonosobo Regency, using phenomenology as its approach. With this methodology and approach, this study succeeded in uncovering findings that the spirit of religious moderation implemented by the Buntu community refers to the three pillars of moderation values that have been formulated by the Ministry of Religion as a counter-narrative form of intolerance and exclusivism in religion which includes a commitment to nationalism, tolerance, and anti-religion. violence. The Buntu community bases their spirit of moderation on QS Al-Baqarah: 256 and QS Al-Kafirun: 6 which explicitly states that there is no compulsion in choosing a religion.

Abstract

The study of Islamic theology experiences various challenges amidst the demands of the problems faced by society in the modern era. This article aims to examine the challenges and opportunities of Islamic theology which is expected to be able to provide alternative solutions to every problem faced by society. In answering these problems, the method used is qualitative with a content analysis approach. The results show that the solution offered by Islamic theology is not an easy thing because globalization spoils people with various literatures without a filter that is in line and not in line with Islam. in this case, it requires the ability to: (1) examine religious texts with various methods that are relevant to the current context; (2) inclusive and holistic religious education; (3) enrich religious publications and research; (4) collaborate and extensive networks between theologians; and (5) open and inclusive dialogue in every religious problem.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of education in shaping understanding of environmental issues. Awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability has become an increasingly serious concern today. Education is identified as the key to changing perspectives and actions towards the environment. This research will focus on how educational innovations shape environmental awareness and promote sustainable behaviors. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with education stakeholders, teachers, and students involved in environmental education programs. Data will be analyzed to identify patterns in how education influences perceptions and environmental-related actions. The results of this research are expected to provide insights into the effectiveness of existing environmental education programs and how educational management can design new, more relevant, and impactful programs. This research will also contribute to understanding the role of education in addressing current and future environmental challenges. Thus, this research is expected to provide valuable input for education policies and educational management practices that focus on nurturing environmentally conscious citizens.
