Abstract

Allium ascalonicum L or commonly referred to as shallot is one type of horticultural plant that is important because it is widely used by humans as a mixture of spices in cooking. The need for shallots increasing every day accompanied by a large number of agricultural products, causing the stability of shallot availability in Merauke County to become unstable, To support the needs of consumers shallots imported from outside Merauke. Therefore the condition of the shallots in the storage area is cold and humid. While waiting to be sold in the storage area, it must be maintained temperature and humidity to reduce decay and shrinkage. This prototype monitoring device works to measure and maintain the temperature and humidity in the storage. The data collection method in this study is Literature Study, Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Microcontroller devices are designed or made to be able to control the state of temperature and humidity in the room where the onion is stored. The device also gives notifications via text message to users to be able to find out the state of the onion storage. The results of the study conducted using the DHT11 sensor obtained a temperature measurement accuracy rate of 93.848% and a humidity accuracy rate was 91.808%. This device can detect the temperature and humidity values in the shallot storage room.

Abstract

PT. Beurata Subur Peusada is a factory engaged in the palm oil processing industry (PMKS). PT. Beurata Subur Persada is in the area of Babah Dua Village, Tadu Raya District, Nagan Raya Regency. Based on the company's historical data during the 2019-2022 period there have been 5 cases of accidents at the PT. Beurata Subur Peusada. The purpose of this research is to condition a significant level of work accident rates at the sterilizer station. The method used is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). The results of the risk assessment of the PT. The potentially dangerous Beurata Subur Peusada consists of 25% extreme risk, 50% medium risk, and 25% high risk, and 0% low risk. Control measures that can be taken are to provide instructions to workers to work according to company SOPs and always use PPE, conduct training or seminars for workers in which there are recommendations for using PPE and always work according to SOPs and tighten regulations.

Abstract

The palm oil mill (PKS) is a place that serves as a place to process fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of palm oil into crude palm oil (CPO), palm kernels (kernels), fiber and palm shells. The processing of palm fruit into palm oil is carried out using production machines, one of which is a Screw Press machine [1]. In a factory, there are usually problems, one of which is at the Screw Press engine station. The Screw Press machine is one of the most important machines in palm oil mills. This study aims to identify damage and failures that occur in screw press machines. This study uses the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method, which is to find out or observe the level of failure and damage that occurs in the screw press machine so that it can minimize failures / damage that occur. Based on the results of the study, there were 9 failures and risks that occurred in the screw press machine components, with the highest Risk Priority Number found in the Special Bearing components with a value of While the lowest value is in the Spur Gear component, which is with a value of 24. From these results, it can be concluded that the Special Bearing component is a priority / priority for repairs.

Abstract

A "final assignment repository" is a medium or place for storing final assignments and theses in the form of PDF files (Portable Document Format). At the end of each semester, students must receive a final assignment course for the D3 level. In each university, the final assignment system is often different, but most still use the manual method. When a student's thesis trial and final assignment are printed, it is used as a book as proof that they have completed the thesis or final assignment. For the collection of thesis books, students are required to collect them in the library; often, other students look for study references and assignments in the reading room. For that reason, the author's problem is trying to design a website-based final project repository application using the Laravel framework. This application was built to store student final assignments. In this case, students can easily save the final project file. In this application, the reading room admin plays the role of manager of the final assignment file if students who have submitted it validate that the student has collected it. Majoring students can use this application to access applications that can be used as learning tools or references for their final project. A computerized system is expected to provide convenience and produce applications as expected.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the maritime countries so that most of Indonesia's territory is the sea, which is rich in marine product; fish is one of the marine products. Fish is a commodity that is not durable and easily damaged if placed in open place. The main causes of fish damage include the activity of microorganisms and bacteria in the fish meat, where at room temperature bacteria and microorganisms can multiply rapidly. Therefore, the author makes a cold storage cooling system with a 10 kg capacity, which can be used to cool the fish caught by fishermen so that the quality and quality of the fish is still fresh to consumers or buyers so that can increase the selling price of fish caught by fishermen in South Aceh Regency. The cold storage manufacturing method is carried out with the initial process of measuring, cutting, welding, drilling, joining, vacuuming and electrical installation. The tools used in the process of making cold storage are welding machines, acetylene welders, cutting grinders, rubbing grinders, measuring elbows, meter tubing cutters, vacuum pumps, digital scales and clam meters. The materials used are angle iron, cold storage boxes, electrodes, relays, MCBs, elbows, and thermostats. The benefits generated by the manufacture of cold storage are to cool fish and increase knowledge of how the system works in cold storage for students of the South Aceh Polytechnic. The results of the cold storage trial for 30 minutes operate with an outside cold storage temperature of 270C and a cold storage temperature of -200C.

Abstract

Social media affects the way an individual communicates in terms of sharing and delivering information among fellow users. People spend more time looking for information in this area. Social media digital marketing is a new thing that must be considered when carrying out marketing and advertising strategy activities at universities. The phenomenon of the large number of Indonesian people spending time on social media makes universities. Carry out an advertising strategy on this media. The purpose of carrying out this strategy is to increase the number of visitors to the institution's web, increase brand awareness and recognition as well as manage existing consumers as well as increase sales figures. In this study, the researcher intends to analyze the influence of social media digital marketing on the interest of prospective students by taking a phenomenological qualitative approach.

Abstract

The Covid19 case dated 11 November 2021 recorded that the human population died from Covid19 (143,595 people) with confirmed cases (4,249,323 cases) and active cases (9,537 cases). Based on these data, it can be concluded that COVID-19 is an acute and deadly disease. In addition to deaths, due to Covid-19, namely the increase in divorce cases, decreased income in the economy and tourism. In this study, the author made a mathematical modeling of Covid19 type as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid19. In the modeling there are human populations susceptible to Covid19 , human populations have been vaccinated , human populations have not been vaccinated , human populations are exposed , human populations are infected with Covid19 , and human populations recovered from Covid19 . The research objectives are 1) to build a mathematical model of Covid19, 2) to determine the fixed point and basic reproduction numbers, and 3) to analyze the stability of the fixed point. This type of research includes applied science research. The research procedure is 1) observing real phenomena, 2) searching literature, 3) determining variables, parameters, and assumptions in mathematical modeling, 4) building a mathematical model of Covid19, 5) analyzing the Covid19 mathematical model in the form of fixed points, basic reproduction numbers, and fixed point stability. The results of the analysis 1) the mathematical model type has a fixed point without disease and an endemic fixed point, 2) a fixed point without disease is stable for the condition , and the endemic fixed point is stable for the condition .

Abstract

Today, information systems are very important in village governance. Jantho Makmur is one of the villages which currently still uses the conventional system in various ways, this method is not very effective considering that the times are developing and technology is getting more advanced. To provide efficient services to the public, we need an information system that can replace the conventional system. Based on this, a web-based village information system was developed. In its creation, this system uses the PHP programming language with Laravel as the Framework and MySQL as database management. This village information system provides an online feature for making certificates and public complaints. Submissions of letters and complaints that have been validated will be sent to the WhatsApp community in PDF format using the WhatsApp API Gateway. This application also implements Ajax and Datatables technology so it is very light and efficient to use. Besides that, this application also has features for filing incoming and outgoing letters, managing population data, writing articles and photo documentation of community activities.

Abstract

Natural science lessons have been taught to elementary school students. In natural science lessons, there are various kinds of materials, one of which is the photosynthesis system. There are many misconceptions in conveying material using the lecture method and printed book media. Based on these problems, the role of interactive multimedia is expected to help the teaching and learning process of agriculture become easier to understand by presenting it in the form of visuals, sound and moving images. The photosynthesis animation application was designed using Adobe Illustrator to create images, Adobe After Effects and Unity to create animations and visual effects. Based on the average evaluation results on this application, elementary school students more easily understand photosynthesis material by more than 85%.

Abstract

Having an increasing trend in demand for healthy food and the government's support in meeting the cassava needs, this study aims to improve the scale of production of Modified Cassava Flour (MOCAF) by applying the systematic layout planning (SLP) method. This method is used to review the existing conditions of the production process and design a new layout for scaling up production. The result of the new layout is an ideal condition and a stable production target, but it is implemented gradually. By adopting systematic layout planning, it is expected to improve production efficiency and optimize resource utilization. This study provides useful information for the food industry in improving Mocaf production scale and can also contribute to research on production management and production layout
