Abstract

Brain tumor disease is a serious and complex health problem worldwide. Early and accurate detection of brain tumors has a major impact on patient care and prognosis. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has become one of the main diagnostic tools in detecting brain tumors, manual interpretation of MRI images requires high clinical expertise and requires a long time. In recent years, advances in deep learning techniques and image processing have opened up new opportunities in the detection of brain tumors via MRI images. Deep learning techniques, especially the use of Vision Transformers (ViTs) models, have been successful in various complex pattern recognition tasks in images. The Vision Transformers model was chosen due to the performance improvements shown in many image recognition tasks, outperforming convolutional neural networks (CNN) based methods. Tensorflow and Keras are used as frameworks for development and training models, which have been proven effective and efficient in various previous studies. This study focuses on the performance of the Vision Transformer (ViT) in detecting brain tumors through two Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) image datasets, with different numbers of datasets, as well as the maximum accuracy value that can be achieved from the ViT architecture. From several experimental parameters on ViT, the number of datasets and iterations, the results obtained from the first dataset with 253 image data obtained an accuracy value of 88%, and in the second study by combining the two datasets, with 3.123 data images obtained an accuracy of 97.9%.

Abstract

Geometry has emerged as a challenging topic in elementary mathematics due to its demand for solid cognitive capacities and spatial ability. Students struggle to understand geometry topics, particularly in solid space and three-dimensional objects. The students need help comprehending various three-dimensional shapes and understanding the formulas and definitions related to geometry. This paper aims to design and develop an application for learning solid space topics. The application provides explanations of solid space concepts, interactive exercises, and assessments to enhance students' understanding. The development process follows the ADDIE method, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The application was evaluated by a mathematics teacher. We also conduct black-box testing. The result shows that all the functionality was valid and the application can be used by students. Future research will focus on implementing the application in actual mathematic classes and evaluating the impact on student learning.

Abstract

The growth and development of toddlers must get attention from parents because toddlerhood is a golden period in shaping the growth and development and intelligence of children. Stunting is  a state of malnutrition in which stunted growth and development of children and this is included in chronic nutritional problems, the incidence of stunting  can be seen from height that is not in accordance with age. In preventing toddlers from stunting, it is necessary to anticipate early prevention by conducting examinations at the nearest posyandu which is measured using anthropometric methods. The calculation  of stunting or normal status based on anthropometric data is generally processed manually so that there is a high possibility of errors in calculating and entering data. Data mining can make classifications or predictions on the stunting status  of toddlers by studying previous data patterns. Naïve bayes is one classification method that has the advantage of high accuracy with little training data as for the attributes used in this study, namely age, gender, Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD), weight, height. Based on the test results, the best average accuracy was obtained on numerical data types for age, weight, height and nominal gender attributes, Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) with the highest accuracy in the 80:20 data comparison, which is 80.34% with a total of 1172 data.

Abstract

Permasalahannya adalah belum adanya Sistem Informasi Manajemen Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada Program Studi Informatika Universitas PGRI Semarang yang masih menggunakan sistem manual sehingga menyebabkan banyak kesalahan administrasi, kehilangan data dan jalur birokrasi yang panjang dalam setiap pelaksanaan PKL. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen PKL pada Program Studi Informatika Universitas PGRI Semarang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Iteratif yang merupakan gabungan model Waterfall dan Iterative pada model Prototype. Tahapan awal dari metode ini yaitu tahap Analisis dan Perancangan telah dilakukan pada penelitian pendahuluan yang berjudul Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Praktek Kerja Lapangan Program Studi Informatika Universitas PGRI Semarang dengan keluaran pemodelan Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram , Diagram Kelas dan Kamus Data. Pada penelitian ini melanjutkan dua tahap yang tersisa yaitu tahap Implementasi dan Evaluasi. Pada tahap implementasi, peneliti membangun sistem dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, MySQL Database Management System dan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) yang terintegrasi dengan Location Based Service (LBS) untuk menentukan lokasi PKL mahasiswa. Selama tahap evaluasi (pengujian), metodologi pengujian black-box digunakan, sehingga semua pengujian dan skenario diterima 100%. Ini berarti sistem Anda bekerja seperti yang diharapkan. Pengujian Kotak Putih Setelah menghitung kompleksitas siklomatik, menentukan jalur independen, dan menjalankan uji nilai untuk menguji uji kode, kita menemukan bahwa kompleksitas siklomatik yang dihasilkan adalah 3. Artinya juga terdapat 3 lintasan independen, dan 3 lintasan nilai lintasan. keluaran yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Extensive use of alumni data by evaluating alumni competency levels, such as in the world of education, human resources, or university rankings. Therefore, the use of powerful algorithms such as SVM and easy-to-use interfaces such as Streamlit can provide great benefits in various contexts. How to measure the performance of the SVM model in assessing alumni competency levels, and how to interpret the evaluation results correctly for users is the main focus of this research. One way of searching for alumni is to assess the competitiveness of graduates and collect relevant assessment information from universities. This research is a continuation of the analysis of alumni competency levels using the SVM algorithm method which was implemented using the Streamlit application to determine (alumni's) perceptions of skill proficiency and the level of skills demanded by the world of work. The data used results from the UNISKA Tracer 2021 questionnaire responses to questions of 30 competencies from 3,117 respondents. The results of the implementation created will display the results of the classification with the information Competent and Not Competent by entering the values of 30 variables in the Tracer Study results. If the competency is in alumni, we know that companies can also support personal development through training or certain training courses. One way to assess a student's skill level in machine learning is to use a dataset as training data so that benchmarking can be carried out using accurate classification methods.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan vokasi menyediakan sejumlah fasilitas untuk kegiatan belajar mangajar. Ada beberapa peralatan yang sudah ada di dalam ruang lab, beberapa yang lain mesti harus meminjam pada teknisi Laboratorim.  Adapun proses peminjaman dan pengembalian peralatan masih menggunakan pencatatan di kertas atau buku. Memang Sudah terdapat aplikasi untuk membantu proses pencatatan tapi masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan pada saat aplikasi tersebut diimplementasikan yaitu: 1) Karena devicenya cuma satu bisa menimbulkan antrian pada saat ada banyak mahasiswa yang akan melakukan proses peminjaman alat, 2) Karena perangkat yang  ada di Laboratorium itu Apple device dan Lab tidak punya akun apple developer yang berbayar,  jadinya aplikasi setiap minggu aplikasi harus di install ulang karena akun developer yang gratis hanya bisa untuk testing aplikasi tidak untuk production, 3. Belum melibatkan aktor dosen untuk mengkonfirmasi peminjaman, baru mahasiswa dan teknisi. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan mengacu pada Design Science Research Mehodology. Adapun metodologi secara garis besar dibagi menjadi lima (5) tahapan yaitu 1) identifikasi masalah yang terdiri dari studi literatur dan pengumpulan data , 2) definisikan solusi, 3)desain dan perancangan, 4)demonstrasi, 5)evaluasi dan 6)komunikasi. Adapun Bahasa pemograman yang digunakan yaitu Dart programming dengan menggunakan Flutter sebagai Framework untuk membuat mobile app. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode black box testing, yang memungkinkan evaluasi fungsionalitas Hasil dari penelitian yaitu terciptanya suatu Aplikasi Mobile Multiplatform untuk Peminjaman dan Pengembalian Alat di Laboratorium Teknik Informatika Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Kata kunci: Aplikasi mobile, multiplatform, flutter, alat laboratorium, pengembalian

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of user satisfac-tion with the Application Haji Pintar using the PIECES method. This research method is a descriptive method with a quantitative research approach. The population in this study is all students of the Palembang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office who use the application Haji Pintar as many as 771 Haji Pintar Application users in 2022. The sam-pling technique using random sampling obtained a sample of 30 people. The results of the study The PIECES indicator variable has a relation-ship with user satisfaction seen from the value of Fcalculate 3.437 > Ftable 2.51, so it can be concluded that all variables together have a positive effect on user satisfaction. The value of the satisfaction level of users of the Haji Pintar Application using the PIECES method on application users, seen from the R Square value of 47.3%. Which means that users of the Application Haji Pintar at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Palembang City are satisfied with user satisfaction on the data at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Af-fairs of Palembang City.

Abstract

Many studies have discussed the advantages of supervised learning for dealing with extensive data on heart disease. However, only a few studies evaluate the performance of supervised learning algorithms. This research builds a classification model using supervised learning algorithms, including C4.5, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machine. The data processed is in the form of category data with character data types. The accuracy, precision, and performance evaluation results show that the Logistic Regression Algorithm has the most superior value compared to the others. On the other hand, it was found that the C4.5 and SVM algorithms had anomalous events. Although the accuracy and precision values of C4.5 were superior to SVM, SVM had better performance.

Abstract

The result of this research is an Internet of Things (IoT) program that utilizes the accelerometer sensor on Android smartphones as a tool for detecting ground movement in landslide-prone areas. If the sensor indicates a change in its coordinates, it will be used as an indication of ground movement on the accelerometer sensor. Meanwhile, the gyroscope sensor detects vibrations, and the program will send notifications as a sign of ground movement. Overall, the development of this landslide movement detection device in landslide-prone areas employs the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The Research and Development method aims to produce specific products and test the effectiveness of these products. The development method for the ground movement system utilizes a prototype method to observe and comprehend how the application functions. The results of this research demonstrate that the accelerometer sensor on Android smartphones can produce sufficiently accurate data for detecting ground movement. Integration with IoT technology opens opportunities for developing an early warning system that is effective and responsive to the potential landslide disasters. It is hoped that this research can provide a significant contribution to the development of more advanced ground movement detection systems in the future.

Abstract

Students in Bina Darma University's Information Systems class utilize a special website to research topics discussed in class, so that the quality of the site is relevant to their education. By using the webqual 4.0 method—focusing on usability, information quality, and service interaction quality—this research seeks to measure user (student) satisfaction. Partial acceptance of the hypotheses H1, H2, and H3 was achieved based on the t test results obtained with the values X1, This is shown by the t table test value of 1.995. Student satisfaction levels may be influenced by factors such as usability of the service, quality of information, and quality of user interaction with the service.
