Abstract

Currently messages can be transmitted using information and communication technology. The message that is transmitted can contain data and information that is privacy or confidential. Messages that are confidential and privacy are only intended for parties that have been determined. Attacks by unauthorized parties may occur during the process of sending the message. Security in a private or confidential message exchange system is very much needed. The message exchange system is regulated by protocol to avoid certain party attacks. The method used in this research is the Denning-Sacco Protocol which is implemented in the exchange of messages from the sender to the recipient. This protocol uses a security key generated by the Key Distribution Center (KDC). The Denning-Sacco Protocol was developed from the Needham-Schroeder Protocol. This study produces an overview of the architecture of the Denning-Sacco Protocol to overcome the weaknesses of the Needham-Schroeder Protocol called the relpy attack. The steps of exchanging messages using the Denning-Sacco Protocol are explained in detail.

Abstract

The biggest marketplace in Indonesia such as Tokopedia has data on e-commerce activities that always increase with time. Large data growth in Marketplace can cause problems for users. Buyers who have difficulty in finding the best product that suits their needs and sellers who have difficulty in promoting products that are often visited by buyers can be overcome. The recommendation system can overcome these problems by providing specific product recommendations to be promoted and offered to buyers. This research implements the Recommendation System using the Item Rating Prediction Method by applying the User K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm. The Recommendation System provides recommendations based on ratings on products given by the buyer. Algorithm performance in Recommendation System is measured by the parameters of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Normalized Mean Absolute Error (NMAE). The performance values obtained are RMSE = 0.713, MAE = 0.488 and NMAE = 0.122. Perfomance values below 1 proves that the User K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm is suitable as a rating prediction model on recommendation system.

Abstract

To increase sales, e-vendors are interested in integrating social commerce features into the traditional e-commerce sites that consumers are increasingly using to make their purchasing decisions. Although the value of trust has been widely recognized in the literature, previous studies have concentrated mainly on trust in online shopping sites. It has not taken into account the multifaceted character to analyze customer behavior. This study intends to build a social commerce trust-based consumer decision making framework to gain additional insights into consumer decision making. Building social commerce trust in a multidimensional view, including trust in social media, trust in e-commerce sites, trust in social trading features, trust in customers, and buying behavior based on socio-technical theory. The data was collected from a consumer survey conducted online among social media and e-commerce users in Indonesia. The method of analyzing the collected data uses SmartPLS, namely statistics that allows the study of structural equations through modeling the path of partial least squares for testing. The aim of this research is to firmly establish the relational understanding of social trading trust and highlight its significance by examining how it influences e-commerce outcomes. This study advances theory by defining social trading beliefs and practitioners can learn more about buying behavior and applying social trading to win customers and increase sales. In addition, when developing social commerce, trust, trust in consumers, and trust in social trading features have stronger effects than trust in e-commerce websites and social media.

Abstract

The quality of products resulting from the production process as well as materials for production processes on a large scale can be determined by testing techniques. In the testing process, room temperature is a parameter that needs attention. Many factors affect room temperature such as building construction, weather from outside and the number of people. Room temperature plays an important role and greatly influences the quality and results of the test. In the process of testing for tire leaks, it is carried out in a cold room. Temperature, humidity and air pressure are the parameters in the testing phase. In this case it is necessary to monitor and control especially the temperature so that it remains normal according to the test specifications. In this study, a system was created that can monitor temperature, humidity and air pressure as well as control temperature in IoT-based air conditioners. The aim is to increase user effectiveness in monitoring and controlling towards industry 4.0. This IoT device is made using a process system in the form of a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, BME280 sensor, and KY-005 IR Transmitter. The method used is by using a black box. The test results from the BME280 sensor compared to the MHB-382SD Thermohygrometer obtained a difference of 0.32 °C for temperature, 3.91% for humidity levels and 0.48 hPa for air pressure. Testing the IR Transmitter KY-005 succeeded in sending a signal to the air conditioner receiver with a distance of less than 7 meters.

Abstract

Cheerax quadricarinatus (Redclaw) becomes a fishery commodity that has high selling value with various advantages in terms of cultivation. In the Redclaw cultivation process, water quality is one of the indicators that require attention. Flawed water quality affects the conditions when the lobsters molt. In addition, shoddy water quality also impacts the slow growth rate and high mortality during ontogeny. The level of water quality is influenced by the parameters of Temperature, Potential of Hydrogen (pH), Ammonia, and Total Dissolved Solid (TDS). The level of water quality requires monitoring in real-time with the aim of being able to find out the latest conditions according to the category of aquaculture pond. Water quality monitoring is carried out by implementing a Fuzzy Inference System in a Water Quality Monitoring System based on a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The water quality monitoring system is running well, marked by all sensors being able to send parameter values and the monitoring dashboard being able to display all parameter values along with water quality and condition values. The water quality level results show that the pond's cultivation habitat is in a suitable category, indicated by a water quality value of more than 90%. The level of water quality can be represented as suitability for Redclaw habitat to increase growth.

Abstract

Product Recommendations for e-commerce activities in online market are important in product promotion to buyers. The Recommendation System in e-commerce can take advantage of growing data to inform the best product recommendations for buyers. Recommendation systems provide great opportunities for businesses so that research on the development of Recommendation System methods is increasing nowadays. This study examines the development of the Recommendation System of e-commerce activities in online market. The purpose of this research is to see a comparison and summary of several studies that have been done. Comparisons and summaries of previous research produce an analysis of research progress and find out problems with the Recommendation System of ecommerce activities in online market. The results of this study provide insight for researchers about the development of research on Recommendation Systems of ecommerce activities in online market.

Abstract

With the Covid-19 virus pandemic that has plagued various countries, the need for a system to prevent transmission of the virus is very important. By utilizing IoT technology to be applied to light control systems, it can reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The design of this IoT-based light control system is carried out using the Android application and the Arduino Uno via a Wifi connection and using a PIR sensor that can be connected to the ESP8266 Wifi module. With the PIR motion sensor, it can be implemented as a controller of light intensity with 3 brightness differences.

Abstract

The canteen of SD Negeri Gunungpuyuh Cipta Bina serves students and teachers using a cash payment system. This cash payment creates problems for canteen managers, namely having to be ready with change and payment queues. During the Covid-19 pandemic, canteen managers are required to follow health protocols, one of which is to keep a distance to minimize the spread of the virus. An application is needed by canteen managers to change cash transaction activities into non-cash transactions. The application of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, as well as Web-based applications, are designed to build a cashless payment system. RFID cards are used for non-cash payment instruments instead of cash. Buyers can use an RFID card as a means of payment for transactions in the canteen and fill in the balance at the canteen manager using a Web-based application. NodeMCU-based RFID ESP 8266 is connected via wifi to the database server. The waterfall method is used to design Web-based applications that function to manage transactions and balances. HTML programming language is used to build applications and MySQL software for databases. The process of making the application starts with assembling the RFID module and testing several RFID cards. Testing the wifi connection and the appearance of the application made shows the test results following the expected results. The process of storing data, managing transactions, and managing buyer balances is well recorded in the created database. This non-cash payment application has been successfully created and is running well, judging by the results of all the tests carried out.
