Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. This Journal is published four times a year, February, May, August, and November.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the financial feasibility of luwak coffee agroindustry. The research was conducted at Balik Bukit district of West Lampung Regency. This location was selected purposively. The research used primary and secondary data. The research samples were 2 agro industries which were chosen purposively. The data was collected in Oktober to November 2012. The financial feasibility was analyzed by NPV, IRR, Net B/C, Gross B/C, Payback Period, BEP and sensitivity. The results showed that small and micro agroindustries of luwak coffee at Balik Bukit District of West Lampung Regency were financially feasible and profitable to be developed, the increase of cost and decrease of product’s price influenced the luwak coffee agro industries. Abstract

This study aims to determine the consumer’s attitude, marketing strategy, and marketing performance of two branded coffee powder in Bandar Lampung.  Two coffee brands were chosen purposively, namely SBCBD and 49 for it’s famous and unfamous the community. The samples of coffee consumer’s were 70 people were chosen by accidental sampling, while samples of the marketing strategy were chosen by purposive adjusted by the location of this research. The research data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative, descriptive quantitative, and multi-attribute Fishbein model. The results showed that coffee consumer’s was dominated by aged 15-64 years old with the occupation as a housewife that graduated  from high school, and have 3-5 family members, purchased coffee powder less than 6 times per month with incomes more than Rp2,500,000.00 per month.  However base on the packaging size of the coffee powder, the consumer’s of Coffee Powder SBCBD like the packaging size more than >200 grams, but the consumer’s of Coffee Powder 49 like the packaging size of 200 grams.  The result of the analysis on attitude of consumer’s, the taste of coffee powder got the highest score on the analysis of consumer’s attitude. The marketing strategy has been implementing the aspects of the marketing mix (product, price, place, and promotion). The marketing performance of  Coffee Powder 49 was better applied than Coffee Powder SBCBD.Key words: attitudes, coffee powder, marketing, taste

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to determine the level of income and profits of organic rice farming SL-PTT participants, determine the level of household income SL-PTT participants, determine the level of welfare household SL-PTT participants in the District of Pagelaran of Pringsewu Regency. This research was conducted in Pagelaran and Gemah Ripah villages of Pagelaran District. The research samples were drawn from the population by simple random design.  The total samples were 77 farmers consisted of 37 SL-PTT participants and 40 SL-PTT non-participants. The data was analyzed by farm income analysis, household income analysis and welfare analysis based on Sajogyo’s criteria (1997). The results showed that the average of income SL-PTT participants based on cash costs and total cost were Rp11,510,16.35 dan Rp13,047,112.84 and acceptance ratios obtained by cost (R/C ratio) in cash and in total were 4.69 and 3.27.  Average income of SL-PTT non participants based on cash costs and total cost were Rp9,803,268.59 and Rp8,418,819.09 and acceptance ratios obtained by cost (R/C ratio) and total cash were 3.7 and 2.68.  Averages household income of SL-PTT participants was Rp39,174,915.54 per year. Averages household income of SL-PTT non-participants was Rp36,978,219 per year. Based on Sajogyo’s criteria, there was one of household SL-PTT paricipant that was classified as moderate household and  three of household SL-PTT non participants were classified as moderate household. Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the economic benefit the members received from KUD Usaha Bersama (Usaha Bersama Village Unit Cooperatives) and the cooperatives’ economic benefit contribution to its members’ household income, the household income of the cooperatives’ members, and to develop an alternative strategy of developing KUD Usaha Bersama further. This research was taken place in KUD Usaha Bersama in Trimodadi Village of Abung Selatan Sub District of Lampung Utara Regency selected purposively.  This research employed case study method. Data of this research was collected in March 2016.  The data related to cooperatives was obtained from cooperatives’ administrators, while that related to operation performance was obtained from 72 cooperatives’ members as the respondents selected by simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the economic benefit the members received from cooperatives were still relatively low, in which the contribution of such the economic benefit on the members’ household income was small in percentage.  The household income of KUD Usaha Bersama members belonged to low category based on Indonesian National Revenue Standar.  the strategy that could be taken for developing KUD Usaha Bersama was growth strategy including optimizing the capital circulation by means of utilizing the community feeling helped with the presence of cooperatives, using many business units corresponding to the community’s need in order to help the community by the presence of cooperatives, and optimizing the capital circulation by utilizing more modern technology. Abstract

The economic growth in the Central Lampung district has been increasing the demand of financial service. It has been affecting the growth of banks. Furthermore among banks has been competing to obtain and retain their customers. To do so, a bank has to fulfill the expectation of its customers. The main objective of this research is to investigate the performance of bank in fulfilling the expectation of its customers. Two banks in Bandar Jaya of Central Lampung district were choosen. From each bank, 30 respondents were interviewed by using questioners. Data were analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that Bank A dan Bank B were under performed based on customers expectation in this two atributes, i.e. the speed of giving service and the response to new customers. In Bank A, the atribute of response to customers using telephone was under performed.Key words : service, performance, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), bank, customers satisfaction

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to know demand pattern of tapioca vermicelli and loyalty of soto vendors to tapioca vermicelli.  This research was conducted in Purbolinggo Sub District East Lampung District by using cencus method.  Data collection was carried out in November 2014-March 2015.  The location was chosen purposively.  There were 11 villages as research location.  Respondents were chosen by using census method.  Respondents were all 48 soto vendors using tapioca vermicelli.  The method of analysis in this research was descriptive.  First purpose was analyzed using descriptive statistics and the second purpose was analyzed using loyalty pyramid.  The results showed that demand pattern of tapioca vermicelli has a demand frequency of 30 times per month with the amount of 16-30 kilograms per month.  They served soto only with tapioca vermicelli.  “Moro Seneng” brand was chosen by most vendors.  They usually bought tapioca vermicelli in traditional market.  The loyalty level of soto vendors in this research was in the category of liking the brand (97.92%) or categorized as loyal vendors. Abstract

This research purposed to analyze the benefits of Indonesian Organic Farm Certification (INOFICE) toward the development of coffee farm sustainability from economic dimension, environmental dimension and social dimension.  This research was conducted at Air Hitam sub district Lampung Barat district.  Sample of research are 30 farmers each from certified farmer and non certified farmer.  Economic benefits was analyzed through on farming analysis by counting productivity, cost efficiency and income then was tested with t test to know if there any difference.  The economic, environmental and social benefits were analyzed using Mann Whitney U test.  The result showed that (1) INOFICE certification had not given benefits toward of coffee farm sustainability.  Certified farmers who has been sustainable on economic, environmental dan social were 73,33.% while noncertified farmers were 96,67% categories in sufficiently sustainable on economic, environemental and social.  (2) INOFICE certification had not given economic benefits like increasing of productivity and income, but it gave benefit like increasing cost efficiency. (3) INOFICE certification gave benefits in sustainable coffee farm application in term of economic, environmental and social. The application of sustainable coffee farm in economic, environmental and social form was higher significantly on farmers certified than nonsertified farmers.
