Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out Lampung’s duku marketing efficiency that was viewed from functions served by each of marketing agencies in Katibung subdistrict of South Lampung district and producer share, marketing margin and margin profit ratio.  This research was conducted in Katibung sub district as the production center and the biggest production site of Lampung duku in Lampung. The location was selected purposively.  Data were collected from May to June 2013. Samples were taken by using marketing channel method.  The samples were consisted of 50 farmers, 12 small collector traders, 5 big traders, and 5 groceries. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method (with multifunction approach) and quantitative method (producer share, marketing margin and margin profit ratio).  The results showed that Lampung duku marketing in Katibung sub district of South Lampung district was not efficient, because some marketing functions were not operated properly such as storing and funding functions and producer share < 50%, marketing margin was so high that over two times average of farmer selling price, and the margin profit ratio of each marketing agency showed various and uneven values. Abstract

Abstract

This research purposed to analyze household income of vegetable farmer, income distribution ofvegetable farmers and vegetable farmers welfare level in Simpang Kanan Village. Simpang Kanan Village, Sumberejo Sub districts, Tanggamus Regency was selected purposively because of vegetable producer in Lampung Province. The amount of the respondent for this research was 60 vegetable farmers were selected by census from farmers bunch in Simpang Kanan Village. This research was conducted with survey methods from November 2014 to May 2015. Analyze of vegetable farming used Soekartawi (1995), analyze of welfare rate based on Sajogyo (1997) and the income distribution by Gini Ratio based on Oshima and World Bank criteria. The research data was included primary and secondary data. The primary data was obtained by interviewing respondents using questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained by searching various literatures and related agencies. The result of this research showed that farmers household income source composed from several land such as yard farm, paddy field farm, kail yard farm, garden farm and non farming activity. The average worth of each household income source was Rp 53.467.405,31 from farming activity and Rp13.740.000,00 from non farming activity. Income distribution in research area was disproportionate with quite high gap, and farmer’s welfare level in research area was at moderatelevel, with non food expenditure was higher than food expenditure. Percentage of prosperous farmer were 78,33% and the poor farmer were 21,66%. This means that the farmers were prosepere enough in social welfare. Abstract

This study aims to determine household food availability of rice barn members and factors affecting the food availability. The research location is selected purposively Ambarawa of Pringsewu District with the consideration that there are most food barns in the district. Respondents were selected by using multistage sampling, which consists of 12 barns and 36 farmer members. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis using the formula available, namely output minus input. The results showed that the availability of staple food or paddy of farmer members is included in a high category, which amounted to 1,631.94 kcal/cap/day and accounted for 67.99 percent energy availability of energy supply based on the results Widya Karya National Food and Nutrition (WNPG) X.  Factors that affect the food availability of members are land size and farmers’ age  (possitively), household income and education level (negatively).Key words: availability of staple food, food barns, rice farmer household member barns

Abstract

This research objective is to analyze the competitiveness of palm oil farming in Waway Karya Sub-District ofLampung Timur District. This research was carried out in Mekar Karya Village. The respondents of thisresearch were 26 farmers out of 154 palm oil farmers who were chosen using simple random sampling basedon the age of plants. The competitiveness was analyzed by using PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). The studyshowed palm oil farming in Lampung Timur District has private and social gains of revenue ofRp183,222,946.00 and Rp202,619,588.00. Costs consisted of tradable inputs and domestic factors.Domestic factors included non-tradable inputs, labor, and land rates. Costs incurred for palm oil farming onprivate prices for tradable inputs, respectively were Rp16,035,073.00, Rp51,285,620.00, Rp23,014,385.00,and Rp39,336,483.00 while the social price of each was Rp27,144,046.00, Rp51,285,620.00,Rp23,014,385.00, and Rp39,336,483.00. Private and social profits acceptable were Rp53,551,385,00 andRp61,839,054.00. The study concluded PCR (Private Cost Ratio) was 0.68 as the competitive advantage andDRCR (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) was 0.65 as the comparative advantage. In conclusion, palm oilfarming in the Waway Karya Sub-district of Lampung Timur District is very competitive farming.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the consumers’ characteristics, attitudes and satisfaction toward the attributes of “pecel lele” and the level of consumer’s satisfaction on the restaurant services.  This research was conducted at two restaurants, namely MP Asli Hang Dihi and Ibu Safe'i, in Bandar Lampung City.  The data was  collected in January-March 2016 by a survey method and involving 60 respondents.  The data of consumers’ attitudes was analyzed by Fishbein Multiatribute, whereas the level of consumers’ satisfaction was calculated by Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).  The result showed that consumers of both restaurants were 17-21 years old, most ot them were students of Bachelor (S1) and had monthly income or allowance from their parents ranging from Rp300,000 to Rp700,000 (at MP Asli Hang Dihi) and from Rp800,000 to Rp1,500,000 (at Ibu Safe'i).  The score of consumers’ attitudes toward”pecel lele” at Ibu Safe'i was 40.9, while at MP Hang Dihi was 37.9. The level of consumer satisfaction index toward the restaurant services of Ibu Safe'i was 71.52 percent and of MP Hang Dihi was 70.50 percent.  The highest score of among all attitudes and services were given to the taste.   Key words: attitudes, consumer, pecel lele, satisfaction, taste

Abstract

Population and economic growth in Bandar Lampung has been increasing the demand of restaurants. Consequently, competition among restaurants in Bandar Lampung has been increasing in order to get their customers. The main goal of this research is to find out the difference between the customers’ expectation and the restaurant’s performance. Data were obtained form questioning respondents from two restaurants in the business area of Way Halim Permai, Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). It is revealed that both Restaurant A and Restaurant B were under performed in two atributes, i.e. restaurant comfort and hospitality. Abstract

This study aims to analyze: the non-financial performance based on Performance PRISM method, financial performance based on ministry regulation, financial performance based on RGEC method, and the development strategies of BMT L-Risma. This research is a case study. The data collection was conducted in August 2015. The results showed that the financial performance of BMT L-Risma assessed using a standard cooperative in 2013 and 2014 resulted in less healthy predicate. Meanwhile, the assessment of financial performance assessed using RGEC method showed predicate of less healthy in 2013 and quite healthy in 2014. The nonfinancial performance of BMT L-Risma showed that total index value was 6.38 of 10.  Ten KPIs were in yellow category, 11 KPIs in red, and 18 KPIs in green category. The development strategy of BMT L-Risma based on strategic priorities with three highest scorest were: improving quality and quantity of human resources by providing training, optimizing service and coaching business members to increase members’ loyaly and interest in utilizing financial products, and increasing service efficiency by adding competence of lending division management in mapping potential customers. Key words : development strategies,  financial performance, non-financial performance, performance prism

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the relationship between rubber and other sectors, (2) determine the multipliers effect of rubber sub-sector on output, household income and added value. This research used Grimp to analyze the impact of the rubber sub-sector of the Indonesian economy. The results showed that (1) backward linkages of rubbers to the input providers sectors relatively high although tended to be conctreated on the railway transport sector, public administration, social services, land  transportation and rubber sector itself, (2) increase all of those part which created by rubber plantation dominantly enjoyed by rubber plantation dominantly enjoyed by textile industry, clothes & leather than rubber plantation itself, (3) rubber plantations have a coefficient multiplier output, added value and household income which relatively large, indicated rubber plantations was relatively large in encouraging the creation of output, added value, and household income in Indonesian economy.Keywords: added value, analysis input-output, multipliers effect, rubber
