Abstract

Road service quality can be determined by qualitative assessment (safety and comfort). The quality of the surface layer is one of the parameters. The HRS Base hot mix asphalt surface course, for example, is often a product failure. One of the reasons is the mismatch between the design results and the production of the mixture, for example, the gradation of mixed aggregates whose composition may deviate due to weaknesses in the production process at AMP. The first variation (10% more coarse aggregate) did not meet the specifications because there were several parameters that did not meet the requirements, namely VIM, VFB, MQ, and residual marshall stability, the second and third variations (10% less coarse aggregate and 10% more fine aggregate) the parameter values of VIM, VFB, MQ and residual marshall stability did not meet the specification requirements and only the parameter values of stability and VMA met the specifications. In the fourth variation (10% less coarse aggregate and 10% more fine aggregate), some of them met the specifications but there were two marshall parameter values that did not meet the specifications, namely the MQ value and the residual marshall stability, while in the control variable all the marshall parameter values met the specification requirements

Abstract

Terdeteksinya pergeseran dinding penahan tanah pada awal tahun 2023 di salah satu lokasi tower transmisi DD6+12, dikhawatirkan akan mengganggu stabilitas tower yang dapat mengakibatkan kegagalan struktur tower. Asesmen dilakukan secara komprehensif terhadap verticality tower, pergeseran dinding penahan tanah, kondisi di bawah permukaan tanah, dan sifat-sifat tanah di sekitar area tower. Hasil asesmen menunjukkan adanya kemiringan pada tower transmisi secara linier dari bawah ke puncak, dengan defleksi di puncak ±20 cm ke arah selatan dan ±7 cm ke barat. Dengan kondisi ini rasio tegangan tehadap tegangan ijin elemen struktur ada yang mencapai 0.91. Walaupun masih dalam batas ijin, jika stabilitas tanah tidak diperbaiki, dikhwatirman tower akan mengalami kegagalan struktur. Scan GPR menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dimensi pondasi dengan as built drawing dan ditemukan adanya rongga di bawah permukaan tanah yang terisi air karena tidak terdrainasi dengan baik, dimana faktor kemanan dalam kondisi ini 1,088 sementara yang disyaratkan 1,5. Kondisi ini yang menyebabkan terjadinya pergeseran dinding penahan tanah. Rekomendasi pembuatan terowongan drainasi (drainage tunnels) di sisi hulu, soil grouting, pemasangan wheep hole pada dinding penahan tanah dan menambahkan secant pile, akan menaikkan faktor keamanan menjadi 1,988.

Abstract

Abstract This research explores the transformation of unsignalized intersections into signalized intersections as a strategy to increase efficiency and safety in traffic management. The main objective of the research is to evaluate the impact of these changes on vehicle flow, traffic density, accidents, and travel time efficiency. The research method was carried out through a combination of field observations, traffic volume data collection, statistical analysis, and simulation modeling. The results showed significant changes after the intersection transformation, with a significant increase in the average speed of traffic flow and a reduction in density during rush hours. In addition, accident analysis shows a decrease in the number of traffic incidents that occurred after the implementation of the signalized intersection system, indicating increased safety for road users. The results of this research show that the transformation of unsignalized intersections into signalized intersections has a significant positive impact in optimizing traffic performance. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the benefits of changes to traffic infrastructure and provides a basis for decision making in improving urban transport systems. The implications of this research can be used as a guide for policy makers in planning similar transformations in other locations to improve overall traffic system performance. Keywords: Traffic performance, signalized intersections, optimization Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi transformasi yang dilakukan pada simpang tak bersinyal menjadi simpang bersinyal sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan dalam pengaturan lalu lintas. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari perubahan ini terhadap aliran kendaraan, kepadatan lalu lintas, kecelakaan, serta efisiensi waktu perjalanan. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui kombinasi observasi lapangan, pengumpulan data volume lalu lintas, analisis statistik, dan pemodelan simulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang signifikan setelah transformasi simpang, dengan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kecepatan rata-rata aliran lalu lintas dan pengurangan kepadatan pada jam-jam sibuk. Selain itu, analisis kecelakaan menunjukkan penurunan jumlah insiden lalu lintas yang terjadi setelah penerapan sistem simpang bersinyal, menandakan adanya peningkatan keamanan bagi pengguna jalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi simpang tak bersinyal menjadi simpang bersinyal memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja lalu lintas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pemahaman tentang manfaat dari perubahan infrastruktur lalu lintas serta memberikan landasan bagi pengambilan keputusan dalam meningkatkan sistem transportasi perkotaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai panduan bagi pembuat kebijakan dalam merencanakan transformasi serupa di lokasi lain untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem lalu lintas secara keseluruhan. Abstract

Sustainability is usually associated with energy source, ecological, soil and environmental aspects. Periodical road and bridge preservation is required to ensure the increasing of accessibility and mobility level, to increase regional economics’ growth, to minimize unplanned or unpredicted environmental consequences and to improve institutional arrangement capability as well. Road and bridge preservation is commonly managed based on its level of damage and constrained in budgeting. Poor public policy makes it worst. Therefore, the issue of strengthening the capacity of regional road and bridge management institutions is deemed important and urgent not only to reduce roads and bridges preservation cost but also to increase regional economics’ growth. Therefore, a proper road preservation type and priority should be determined based on technical, socio-economics, environment and public policy consideration. However, annual road and bridge functional condition data collection took high cost because it has been carried out by engineering consultant. The aim of this study is resolve it by providing a public participation portion in a road and bridge data base model. They are simply asked to send a real time condition of road s or bridge nearby to the local authority. The results strongly indicate that cost saved obtained from it could be focused to road and bridge preservation cost.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the help of an optimization program using Quantity Methods for Windows 3 software. The value of irrigation water requirements was calculated using a method based on Irrigation Planning Criteria - 01 of 2013. The data used in the analysis were irrigation area area data, rainfall data and 15 year climate data and planting pattern data. In this research, four initial planting alternatives were planned with the number of planting seasons in a year being three and the planting period being 10 days. The calculation results show that the maximum mainstay volume occurred in February at 19741.58 m3 and the mainstay volume in January, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December was constant at 19354.84 m3. The maximum water requirement for rice plants occurs in the first initial planting alternative in planting season 3, amounting to 3.09 lt/sec/Ha and secondary crops occurs in the third initial planting alternative in planting season 3, amounting to 1.63 lt/sec/Ha. The results of optimizing the planting pattern in the Quantity Methods for Windows 3 software obtained results greater than the existing land area with a size of 300% of 27 Ha, which means that the planting pattern resulting from the optimization is Optimum

Abstract

Drainase pada ruas jalan Gua Lourdes, Kelurahan Oetete, Kota Kupang sering mengalami luapan banjir pada waktu musim penghujan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan banjir pada jalan dan daerah disekitar lokasi tersebut. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan saluran drainase pada daerah pengamatan dalam mengalirkan debit banjir pada kala ulang yang ditinjau yaitu kala ulang 2 tahun, 5 tahun, 10 tahun, 25 tahun, 50 tahun dan 100 tahun. Panjang saluran yang ditinjau ke hulu 143 m dan ke hilir 188 m yang dibagi dalam 7 segmen. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan debit banjir rancangan (Q) dan debit banjir pada saluran drainase eksisting (Qs). Hasil perhitungan debit banjir rancangan (Q) diperoleh dengan menjumlahkan debit banjir air hujan (Qah) dengan Metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik Nakayasu dan debit air kotor (Qak). Hasil yang diperoleh pada kala ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 dan 100 tahun adalah 86,142 m3/det, 118,641 m3/det, 150,152 m3/det, 181,881 m3/det, 208,075 m3/det, dan 234,292 m3/det. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan untuk debit banjir saluran drainase eksisting pada tiap segmen yaitu 30,629 m3/det, 20,387 m3/det, 27,906 m3/det, 26,248 m3/det, 22,038 m3/det, 16,927 m3/det, 53,259 m3/det. Sehingga setelah dilakukan evaluasi, diperoleh kondisi dimana debit banjir rancangan lebih besar daripada debit saluran drainase eksisting (Q>Qs) untuk setiap kala ulang. Oleh karena itu, penampang saluran drainase eksisting pada lokasi yang ditinjau tidak dapat menampung debit banjir rancangan pada kala ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 dan 100 tahun. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan perencanaan ulang pada saluran tersebut dengan menggunakan ukuran penampang dimensi saluran yang paling ideal yaitu pada kala ulang 2 tahun sehingga diperoleh kondisi dimana saluran drainase dapat menampung kapasitas debit banjir rancangan.

Abstract

There are 23 small dams in Ende Regency that have experienced decline in function which affects the purpose of building the reservoir, namely to fulfill the needs of household clean water, crops, and livestock. The research aims to evaluate the performance of small dams in Ende Regency based on four aspects, physical aspects, utilization aspects, operational and maintenance (O&M) aspects and organizational management aspects. The performance of the reservoirs in terms of physical aspects using the Observation and Documentation Method, utilization aspects, O & M aspects and organizational management aspects using the Questionnaire Method. The results obtained the percentage of small reservoir performance in terms of physical aspects with unfavorable reservoir conditions amounted to 62.62%. The percentage of utilization aspects is 53.60%. The percentage value of the O & M aspect of 55.40% is not good. The percentage of organizational management aspects is 51.83% in poor condition. From the four aspects reviewed, it was found that the performance of small dams in Ende Regency had decreased founction by 62,62%. The solution to overcome the decline in the function of the small dams is the rehabilitation of the components of the dam, improvement of road access and subsidies and the establishment of a water user organization to coordinate all activities related to harvesting

Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people and goods from one place to another so that transportation activities generally influence the optimal movement system from one place to another. In order to travel to the place you want to go quickly and efficiently, transportation is needed to support these needs. Travelers mostly use private vehicles to travel to their destination rather than using public transportation, causing vehicle congestion on the roads. This research aims to find out what factors influence workers in choosing modes of transportation and also maximize the use of public transportation among South Tangerang workers. Data obtained from distributing questionnaires which were then processed with the help of SPSS software included Partial Correlation Tests between Variables, Simultaneous Correlation Tests between Variables, Model Fit Tests, and Binary Logistic Regression. The results of the analysis show that there are 2 variables that have a partial influence, namely Gender and Frequency of Using the Bus. So the results obtained for the male gender who always use the bus are 99.97%, and for the female gender who always use the bus it is 84.16%.

Abstract

Jalan Farmasi dan Jalan Bumi I yang terletak di Kelurahan Liliba dan Keluarahan Oesapa Selatan memiliki pemukiman yang cukup padat. Tidak tersedianya saluran drainase menyebabkan terjadinya genangan dipermukaan jalan apabila terjadi hujan dengan intensitas yang cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan perencanaan saluran drainase serta bangunan-bangunan pelengkap apabila diperlukan. Data hujan yang digunakan diambil dari 3 pos hujan, yaitu Pos Hujan Lasiana, Eltari dan Tarus selama 20 tahun (2002-2021). Data hujan harian dianalisa curah hujannya kemudian dilakukan uji parameter statistik dan uji kecocokan, maka metode Log Pearson Tipe III layak dipakai dalam perencanaan saluran dengan kala ulang 5 tahun serta besar curah hujan harian adalah 139,014 mm. Debit rencana diperoleh dari debit air hujan (QAH) ditambah dengan debit air kotor buangan penduduk (QAK), debit rencana setiap saluran berbeda-beda, berkisar antara 0,036 m3/dtk sampai 6,959 m3/dtk. Saluran drainase yang akan direncanakan terdapat 152 saluran dengan dimensi rata-rata, yakni (H) = 0,750 m dan (b) = 0,690 m. Sedangkan bangunan pelengkap terdiri dari Gorong-gorong, bak penampung dan inlet saluran drainase. Bangunan pelengkap juga memiliki dimensi yang bervariasi. Gorong-gorong yang direncanakan terdapat 82 bangunan dengan dimensi rata-rata, yakni (d) = 0,657 m, Bak penampung yang akan direncanakan terdapat 67 bangunan dengan dimensi rata-rata, yakni (H) = 1,192 m dan (b) = 0,570 m, dan inlet saluran drainase direncakan dengan dimensi (d) = 0,100 m dan (L) = 0,200 m.

Abstract

Transportation is an activity of moving something (goods and/or goods) from one place to another, either with or without means. In this context, ownership and use of private and public vehicles can be said to be an alternative for society in meeting movement demands, for example in carrying out daily trips or daily activities and work. However, the pandemic problem used to be one of the causes of the decline in people's daily activities, but now it has started to improve and people's activities are starting to return to normal. This research aims to determine the choice of transportation modes used by the people of Paku Jaya sub-district after the pandemic is over or the new normal and to find out the factors that influence mode users' preferences for daily travel. Data obtained from distributing questionnaires was processed with the help of SPSS software including Chi-Square Test, Cross Tab, and Regression Analysis. It is known that out of 100 respondents, 85 respondents used private vehicles and 15 respondents used public transportation. It is known that variations in gender characteristics, vehicle ownership, and driver's license ownership have significant differences in choosing a mode of transportation. And it is also known that the variables gender, vehicle ownership, and driver's license ownership have a significant influence on mode choice
