Abstract

This research stems from the need to understand effective da'wah strategies for building a harmonious and just society in a modern era full of challenges such as globalization and pluralism. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the da'wah approach implemented by Rasulullah SAW during the Madinah era, which includes community building, drafting the Charter of Madinah, constructing the Nabawi Mosque, religious education, diplomatic relations, social justice, and military defense, and to evaluate its relevance in a contemporary context. The research employs a qualitative approach with historical analysis of literary sources. The results indicate that the principles of Rasulullah's da'wah, such as inclusivity, justice, solidarity, and education, remain highly relevant and can be adapted to address social challenges in the modern era. Implementing these principles can strengthen community solidarity, enhance social welfare, and improve interfaith relations in multicultural societies.

Abstract

This research is driven by multiple factors, including the presence of a societal belief that students' intelligence can only be measured in specific subjects and accomplishments, despite the fact that intelligence is diverse. Additionally, there is an imbalance in assessing the three domains of cognition, emotion, and physical movement. Therefore, it is recommended to use authentic assessment as a balanced approach to evaluating learning in these domains. Furthermore, there is a lack of awareness within the Muslim community about the importance of physical movement intelligence, which actually aligns with the Prophet's teachings. The objective of this research is to raise awareness among the public and the education community that kinesthetic intelligence is a fundamental aspect of human intelligence. Developing this intelligence can lead to the acquisition of strong physical skills. It is important for the Muslim community to recognize the value of physical intelligence from an Islamic perspective, as advised by the Prophet. This research is qualitative in nature and adopts a descriptive approach. The findings indicate that kinesthetic intelligence can enhance students' psychomotor abilities, improve social interactions, and promote physical well-being. Individuals with kinesthetic intelligence can pursue further education and careers in fields that align with their intelligence, such as athletics, choreography, acting, and modeling. Teaching methods that can be employed to develop this intelligence include demonstrations, theater classes, and role-playing.

Abstract

In the 16th century European nations intensively carried out colonialism and imperialism. The Dutch also carried out this practice of colonialism and imperialism against the Indonesian people. This colonialism and imperialism of course made the Indonesian people suffer. This then became the reason for the resistance of the native people. This native resistance then gave birth to a national movement marked by the founding of the Budi Utomo organization or movement, which was then followed by the formation of other national movement organizations, one of which was Nahdlatul Ulama. This research aims to find out about NU efforts to fight colonialism and imperialism carried out by the Dutch during the national movement. This research uses a historical method using a literature study approach. NU efforts to fight colonialism and imperialism carried out by the Dutch were carried out in several fields, one of which was through the political field, namely by initiating the establishment of MIAI which is a federation of various Islamic religious organizations that in each of its activities is full of political activities to influence government political policies. Netherlands at that time. Then, in the socio-religious field, NU focused on promoting and spreading Islam, which at that time competed with the spread of Christianity by the Dutch government. Apart from that, in this field, NU also cultivated an attitude of nationalism through the spirit of jihad. Finally, in the field of education, NU established many educational institutions such as Islamic Boarding Schools, Private Schools, and Madrasas, which can compete with Western-style schools founded by the Dutch which could only be enjoyed by some groups.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah, as one of the leading Islamic movements in Indonesia, possesses a strong ideology that serves as a guide in realizing an ideal Islamic society. This ideology, rooted in the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan, responded to the social and colonial conditions of the Dutch era. Muhammadiyah emphasizes the purification and simplification of Islam, as well as the integration of Islamic values with local culture. This is done to maintain the relevance of Islamic teachings to the contemporary context. The ideology not only serves as a guide but also an inherent identity element within the movement, directing actions and decisions towards achieving shared goals. Muhammadiyah is known as a moderate Islamic movement that is open to differences and strives to renew and purify the understanding and practice of Islam according to the context of the times. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology to analyze Muhammadiyah's ideology and its implementation in realizing an ideal Islamic society.

Abstract

This research discusses the optimisation of the demographic bonus and the improvement of the quality of human resources in East Belitung Regency from the perspective of Ibn Khaldun's Islamic economics. The demographic analysis shows a decade-long demographic bonus, but the economy has not shown optimal growth. The quality of human resources is low as reflected in education, health and informal employment. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data analysis from the 2020 Census, the March 2020 National Socio-Economic Survey and local economic data. Key findings include the state of the demographic dividend, which has not reached its potential, the need to improve the quality of education and health, and the dominance of the unsustainable mining sector. From the perspective of Ibn Khaldun's Islamic economics, this research emphasises the importance of education as a foundation for development, the role of government in policies that support a sustainable economy, and efforts to improve skills. The main conclusion offers recommendations for local government, measures to improve the quality of human resources, and the implementation of Ibn Khaldun's concept in supporting sustainable economic development.
