Abstract

Abstract Electrolyte is one of the fluids in the human body. This electrolyte is used to maintain fluid balance in the body. Lack of electrolytes can lead to dehydration. Dehydration can be overcome by drinking drinks that contain electrolytes. However, the drinks sold by traders do not necessarily contain electrolytes that are safe for consumption by the human body. So a machine to help traders to make drinks with safe electrolyte content is necessary. From these problems, the authors have made a machine for mixing drinks. This tool is named DRIMM (Drink Mixing Machine). DRIMM will provide a mixture of drinking water with a dose that has been processed using the Multiple Linear Regression method. From the results of experiments conducted, the tool can make a mixture of water with an average electrolyte concentration of 654 PPM. So that the electrolyte content in the drink is in accordance with a safe dose for consumption by the body. With this tool, it is expected to help traders in the process of making their drinks. The trader as well as the customers will no longer worry about the electrolyte content in their drinks. Keywords: Electrolytes, Arduino, Microcontroller, Mixing, Multiple Linear Regression

Abstract

In 2007, for the first time, an electronic toll collection system was implemented to overcome queues in toll gate, however its application was only limited for several toll road segments in Indonesia. After that in 2017 the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing issued regulation Number 16 / PRT / M / 2017 concerning Cashless Transactions on Toll Road, in October 31th 2017, to implement an electronic toll collection system in every toll gates in Indonesia. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the application of electronic transaction, systems that have been implemented at this time. From the analysis, it is obtained with this electronic system the average period of transaction for GTO is 3 seconds and GSO is 3.6 seconds, so that it meets the Toll Road SPM which is less than 5 seconds. For the results of capacity calculation, free flow booth has the highest capacity compared to the GTO and GSO. As well as for queuing analysis with booth capacity greater than the arrival rate of vehicles in all types of booth transaction, there is no queue at the booth transaction. On the other hand, with the implementation of the electronic toll collection system, currently 86% of respondents feel satisfied and there are several benefits obtained by toll operators such as the lower operating costs of booth. In the future BUJT has made preparations for the implementation of free flow transactions by coordinating between toll operators regarding the technology systems and processes to be implemented.

Abstract

PMI of Bandung City experienced overstock. Overstock and expired blood supplies must be destroyed. In the overstock phase every month, PMI of Bandung City experiences waste and needs to be controlled inventory. In the blood have six components that need to be controlled, but it takes a long time to analyze each component of the bloood. It is necessary to determine the priority blood components that must bee controlled immediately so that they are expected to influence the reduction in the destroyed cost. The purpose of this study is find out what blood component are prioritized to control their supply. Determination of blood component priority using the AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process) approach. The AHP method is decision making model that breaks down complex multi-criteria problems into a hierarchy. The priority blood component to be controlled is Packed Red Cell (PRC) component of 0.338. This value is obtained because it is influenced by the weight of the supply criteria of 0.709, demand of 0.113; and lifetime of 0.179.

Abstract

Company image is important because it influences consumer decisions in buying products. Similarly, in universities which are institutions where universities look for students, like companies that look for consumers. One of the university's appeals that can be done is through merchandise. In this case, ABC University plans to establish an official merchandise store as an effort to create a brand mind or incorporate a campus brand into every heart of people who see and also raise everyone's curiosity about ABC University. At present, the target market reaches 11,485 people, consisting of 96% students and 4% lecturers and employees. This amount represents a high enough market opportunity for ABC University official merchandise stores. This study uses a semi-structured interview data collection technique with the founding and managing team as well as documentation by collecting available internal company data relating to the merchandise shop. In this study, business feasibility will be carried out using the entrepreneurial criteria according to Timmons. In theory, the Timmons Model can be used as a guide to achieving success in entrepreneurship by taking into account opportunities, resources and team factors. Business positions according to the results of EFAS (0.93) and IFAS (0.79) are in quadrant I which supports an aggressive strategy. The official merchandise shop business is feasible and includes high-potential business conditions to be implemented and developed according to the results of Timmons' quick screen criteria. The results of the calculation of financial projections that obtain high potential categories, namely, IRR of 84%, Gross Profit Margin by 32%, Net Profit Margin by 20% and ROI by 48%.

Abstract

PT. Telkom Witel West Bandung is the only state-owned company in the telecommunications and network sector in Indonesia, where SOEs can continue to develop to realize quality services and networks. Use it using information technology today. Inventory data processing at PT. West Witel Telkom is not well integrated, it is difficult to find data, including redundation of data and the length of time the report is made. The methodology currently in this inventory information system is Prototype, i.e. While the data uses observation and interview data. The method of development uses a structured method. The programming language is PHP and MySQL database. Information inventory system can display material data, receipt data, expenditure data, retrieval data and transaction data. With the implementation of this inventory information system, it is expected to facilitate PT. Telkom Witel West Bandung is related to the application of information inventory systems (speeding up data search, minimizing data redundancy and speeding up report generation), can achieve maximum results and can support information quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Traffic crashes are the 10th main cause of death in Bandung. Pedestrians are road users who are more vulnerable to crashes. Pedestrian crashes often occur at intersections as diverseroad users move in the same road space, thus making interaction between road users more complex. Currently, pedestrian safety at intersection is still very low, so it is important to do a study to reduce the number of pedestrian crashes. A model that has been developed by FHWA (Federal Highway Adminstration) for pedestrian safety at intersection is PedISI (Pedestrian Intersection Safety Index). This model can be used to determine which intersections need to be addressed before a crash occurs based on PedISI values. PedISI values show the level of pedestrian safety at intersection. This thesis develops Pedestrian Intersection Safety Index (PedISI) model for signalized intersection in Bandung. The data used consist of pedestrian crashes data, intersection characteristic data, behavioral(conflicts) data and safety rating data. Data were collected from 16 signalized intersections of types 8/2 D, 6/2 D, 4/2 D, 4/2 UD and 2/2 UD. PedISI model formed for signalized intersection in Bandung is PedISI = 3,184 + 0,032THRULNS - 0,005MEDIAN + 0,001SPEED85th with R2 = 0,525. PedISI values for signalized intersections in Bandung based on the model is 3,24 ? 3,45. The average value of PedISI is 3,35 with a standard deviation of 0,06. This model is able to describe the safety conditions of intersection though it has small variation in PedISI values. This is due to the results of surveys that indicated uniformity in respondents perceptions of safety rating values. Thus, it is necessary to improve the safety data collection techniques to obtain a better model.
