Abstract

Traffic crashes are the 10th main cause of death in Bandung. Pedestrians are road users who are more vulnerable to crashes. Pedestrian crashes often occur at intersections as diverseroad users move in the same road space, thus making interaction between road users more complex. Currently, pedestrian safety at intersection is still very low, so it is important to do a study to reduce the number of pedestrian crashes. A model that has been developed by FHWA (Federal Highway Adminstration) for pedestrian safety at intersection is PedISI (Pedestrian Intersection Safety Index). This model can be used to determine which intersections need to be addressed before a crash occurs based on PedISI values. PedISI values show the level of pedestrian safety at intersection. This thesis develops Pedestrian Intersection Safety Index (PedISI) model for signalized intersection in Bandung. The data used consist of pedestrian crashes data, intersection characteristic data, behavioral(conflicts) data and safety rating data. Data were collected from 16 signalized intersections of types 8/2 D, 6/2 D, 4/2 D, 4/2 UD and 2/2 UD. PedISI model formed for signalized intersection in Bandung is PedISI = 3,184 + 0,032THRULNS - 0,005MEDIAN + 0,001SPEED85th with R2 = 0,525. PedISI values for signalized intersections in Bandung based on the model is 3,24 ? 3,45. The average value of PedISI is 3,35 with a standard deviation of 0,06. This model is able to describe the safety conditions of intersection though it has small variation in PedISI values. This is due to the results of surveys that indicated uniformity in respondents perceptions of safety rating values. Thus, it is necessary to improve the safety data collection techniques to obtain a better model.

Abstract

Along with its development, data technology in the form of files continues to grow and increase in size over time. The development of increasingly advanced technology by increasing the number of computer users which is increasingly causing an explosion in the amount of data and the rate of data transfer from one device to another. The data is generally compressed first so that the data exchange process does not take too long. The method that will be used in this research is the Huffman Encoding algorithm and Binary Hexadecimal conversion. Huffman Encoding algorithm is a compression algorithm by coding in the form of bits to represent character data, while Hexadecimal Binary conversion is a technique to change the sequence of bits to be converted into hexadecimal numbers. The results of this study are the Huffman Encoding algorithm and Hexadecimal Binary conversion can be implemented for file compression. The conclusion of this application is the Huffman Encoding method and Binary Hexadecimal conversion can compress well on 26 file extensions, however, this method is no better than the WinRAR and WinZIP compression programs. This has been proven by testing the limitations and performance of programs against 50 different file types.

Abstract

Social media has an important role as a communication tool to share information and connect with each other. social media is used as a space to interact with people from various walks of life. One of the most widely used social media in the world, including in Indonesia is Instagram. This study aims to find out what post content is most optimal in Online Engagement. This study uses post data uploaded by XYZ Higher Education Instagram accounts from September 22 2015 to June 4, 2019. Post analyzed in this study amounted to 426 post content. A comparative test was conducted to see the difference between online engagement between post content. The results of this study indicate that post type and post time (month and day) have a significant effect on online engagement (likes and comments). While the months that have the most significant influence on likes and comments are March, June and July. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are days that have a significant influence on likes and comments.

Abstract

Children are the responsibility of parents given by Allah S.W.T, therefore it is fitting for parents to guard and supervise them, especially when parents decide to include their children in a boarding school. On that basis sometimes time and distance are usually the main obstacles for parents in obtaining information, coupled with delays in the Islamic Boarding Schools in providing information to parents of students. By implementing information technology, the pesantren can more easily and quickly provide information to santri parents, and santri parents can also participate in supervising their children in terms of obtaining information relating to santri activities, santri absences and violations committed by Student. The results of this study are the Android-Based Santri Activity Monitoring Application using qualitative research types, while the data collection method uses observation, interviews, and literature studies. The method of development uses the Waterfall method and application testing uses the Balck Box method. The conclusion obtained from this study is the application of Al-Hidayah E-Monitoring makes it easy for parents to obtain information of students during the school so that parents can obtain more detailed data of students

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to test effective security strategies for SMEs on cloud computing technology, by examining security threats for SMEs, mitigation measures, and the best strategies for effective security in a cloud computing environment. Cloud computing is a relatively new paradigm that presents significant business benefits and enormous opportunities for small and medium businesses. As the information technology (IT) landscape develops, SMEs need to find effective strategies to meet business demands. However, many SMEs are reluctant to adopt cloud computing technology due to inherent security, privacy, and trust issues, as well as regulatory risks and compliance implications. Preliminary studies show an increasing number of cybersecurity attacks targeting SMEs in the cloud environment. To address security threats, there is a need to establish best practices, standards, and guidelines that can be followed by SMEs. This study addresses two research objectives: (i) to identify security threats and challenges facing SMEs in the cloud environment and determine the best mitigation strategies and, (ii) to develop a security strategy framework for SMEs in the context of cloud computing. The overall contribution of this research is the proposed model, which integrates four strategic components: the Cloud Model, the Security Model, the Compliance Model, and the Main Security Component.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, especially information technology, is increasingly being felt today in various sectors including the business sector.PT. Tegar Primanusantara located in Cimahi is a business company for textile and garment products. In carrying out product sales activities, the company still uses manual methods in processing data and has not used one of the web-based technology applications, e-commerce for product marketing strategies. In this way, it will create constraints that are quite inconvenient for the company, such as: marketing zones that cannot reach the entire region and the public cannot receive information quickly and accurately about new products produced by the company.The research conducted by the author aims to design and build a website-based information system for selling household appliances at the company, so that later it is expected to be able to reach a wide marketing area and make it easier for customers to transact or order products.The method of designing a web-based sales information system is to use the UML (Unified Modeling Language) method, and for implementation using the PHP programming language. The database used is MySQL as a DBMS (Data Base Management System), which is the interface of the resulting application. Through the use of internet technology, product services can be achieved done comprehensively and do not have a limit and time space. The results of research conducted by the author is to create a web-based household equipment sales system at PT. Tegar Primanusantara, which influences business processes, becomes easier.

Abstract

Klinik Pratama RBG RZ merupakan salah satu klink yang berlokasi di Bandung yang mana kegiatannya melayani kesehatan baik seperti pasien rawat jalan, pasien rawat inap, Poli Gigi dan ruang rawat inap pasien. Sisten mformasi yang ada di klinik yang sedang berjalan saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga mengakibatkan kurang maksimal dalam hal pelayanan.Administrasi pendaftaran pasien di Klinik Pratama RBG RZ Bandung merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang utama dalam industri yang bergerak bidang pelayanan kesehatan, belum menggunakan teknologi komputer sebagai alat bantu pengelolaan data pasien dan data pembayaran oleh pasien.Perencanaan pengembangan sistem yang penulis lakukan untuk sistem infomrasi pendaftaran pasien berbasis desktop adalah dnmgan menggunakan metode Waterfall. Sedangkan tools untuk perancangan sistem adalah metode/teknik yang disebut dengan Unified Modelling Language (UML). Untuk keperluan pengembangan aplikasi administrasi pedaftaran pasien, penulis m suatu perangkat lunak yang sudah teruji kehandalannya dan banyak digunakan pengembang aplikasi saat ini yaitu VB.Net dengan editor berikut compiler nya Visual Studo 2013 dan database My SQL.Uraian laporan akan membahas tentang kegiatan-kegiatan beserta produk-produk yang dihasilkan untuk tiap tahapan pengembangan. Data-data yang dibuthkan untuk perancangan sistem pendaftaran pasien terdiri atas : pendaftaran pasien, pasien, pemeriksan pasien, serta pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh pasien.

Abstract

The stored Data in Data base is generally not fully utilized. The school conducts promotions every year for new student admission while there is no being known effectively level of carried out promotion. Its database can be used for finding out the new student profiles by using two step clustering method deemed to have mixed data types namely numeric and categorical data types. The clusters that are formed are then analyzed to be able to identify the right promotional strategies. The researched data are some new student data in 2015, 2016 and 2017 students are totally 1399 people, with the Processing Standard for Cross Industry-Data Mining (CRISP-DM) methodology which consists of six stages, which are Business Understanding, Understanding Data, Preparation Data, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment.Through the preparation data variable stage used into eight variables namely gender, religion, father's job, mother's job, parents income, department code, distance to school and junior high school distance. The mixed data is running with two step clustering methods.In this Research, the data is grouped into two or four clusters with three variable schemes so a total of nine schemes that the naming schemes begins in 1.2 until 1.4 for 8 variable, 2.2 till 2.4 for 6 variable, then 3.2 till 3.4 for 5 variable. The calibration for the amount of different clusters and variables is objected to obtain for the ideal cluster to depict the proper profile through the promoting strategy which is recommended to the school.The result shows that new students with the largest are dominated by male in majoring TKJ, moslems; the range distance 6.25 ? 6.29 kilometers, Junior School distance at around 12.61- 12.69 kilometers, and entrepreneuring father position with mother of housewife position among salary at Rp. 2.000.000- Rp. 4.999.999,-. Whereas the smallest cluster is dominated by female in majoring Accountancy, male in majoring RPL and TKR, the range distance at 5.11-736 kilometers, school range distance at 8.16-20.12 kilometers, enterpreneuring father position with housewife of mother position among salary at Rp. 2.000.000-4.999.999 in majoring Accountancy, Rp. 1.000.000-1.999.999 in Majoring RPL, and Rp. 500.000 - 999.999 for TKR Major.
