Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a wireless network that utilizes wireless lines as a backbone on all access points except the base station point that still uses UTP cable as its backbone and expands the coverage area of ??wireless networks that are able to cover all parts of Widyatama University. The results of wireless network design with WDS will be tested by simulating. Then testing will be focused on parameters of delay, packet loss, throughput, and jitter using the Quality of Service (QoS) method using the Axis netTools application. Wireless network design with Wireless Distribution System (WDS) has a better level of flexibility than a backbone that uses Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable. The test results show that throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter show good results. Throughput test results obtained an average value of throughput with a percentage of 90%, can be categorized GOOD with index 3, while the delay test results obtained an average value of 107.8 can be categorized VERY GOOD with index 4, then the average value of packet loss with a percentage of 2%, can be categorized GOOD with index 3, and the results of the jitter test obtained varying values ??with an average value of jitter of 1.71 ms, can be categorized GOOD with index 3.

Abstract

The Cimanyar River Basin is one of the Cimanuk watersheds. There is a rain and debit recording station with the duration of hours. Based on the data obtained in the field there is a significant difference in the watershed response. The hydrograph of the rainfall event on February 4, 2013 shows the surface runoff in the watershed. While the hydrograph of rainfall events on 27 October 2012 indicates the existence of a subsurface flow mechanism (interflow). To see the watershed response, this study developed a hydrological model with MIKE SHE which was calibrated and validated with measurement discharges at the Cimanyar observation station.

Abstract

Dry port merupakan salah satu simpul transportasi yang cukup penting dan dapat juga berupa ekstensi dari pelabuhan laut. Dry port menjadi salah satu fasilitas transportasi yang diberikan perhatian khusus oleh Pemerintah sebagaimana tercantum dalam Cetak Biru Sistem Logistik Nasional. Namun demikian, dry port yang ada di Indonesia berada dalam kondisi yang kurang produktif atau bahkan gagal. Sebagai contoh, Dry port Cikarang yang merupakan dry port yang cukup berkembang dibandingkan dry port lainnya di Indonesia, baru berkontribusi sebesar 18% terhadap throughput Pelabuhan Tanjung hingga tahun 2017. Kondisi ini masih jauh dari target awal pembangunan Dry port Cikarang yaitu dapat berkontribusi sebesar 62% dari throughput Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. Di satu sisi keberadaan dry port sangat dibutuhkan sehingga terus dibangun dan dikembangkan namun di sisi lainnya keberadaan dry port belum optimal bahkan ada yang gagal. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan pengidentifikasian faktor-faktor yang menunjang kesuksesan pemilihan lokasi pembangunan dry port. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis dan sintesis dalam melakukan kajian literatur didapatkan empat jenis kelompok kriteria dalam pemilihan lokasi pembangunan dryport yaitu pemerintah, penyedia jasa layanan dry port, pengguna layanan dry port, dan komunitas. Adapun keterbatasan dari penelitian ini adalah belum mempertimbangkan pembuatan model konseptual dan alat ukur berupa instrumen sehingga dapat digunakan oleh para pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Half-wave rectifier, full-wave rectifier, inverting op-amp amplifier, and non-inverting op-amp amplifier are basic electronic practicum material in each Electrical Engineering Department. During this practicum is carried out by arranging the circuit manually using breaadboard, so it requires a long time and is inefficient. In this study a trainer with integrated modules was designed. The module consists of a wave rectifier module, transistor amplifier module, op-amp amplifier module, and logic gate. This trainer is designed based on the ATmega 32 microcontroller which functions to select modules, display module workmanship, and basic logic gate programs. The method used in this research is experiment and simulation. From the test results, the half-wave rectifier and full-wave rectifier modules respond according to the simulation of ideal conditions. While the results of testing the inverting amplifier and non-inverting amplifier, show both modules can function in accordance with theory and simulation. So it can be concluded that this trainer can be used for practical learning.

Abstract

PT XY is a company that often experiences minus production every month. The problem of late delivery of parts from the warehouse to the production line is due to the unstructured material supply system, resulting in a production hindrance that results in a late completion of the product. To meet the production target, additional overtime is carried out so that the costs borne by the company due to inaccurate material supply systems are high. This research tries to propose an information system in the form of kanban sending parts to the production line by using a kanban system which is expected to be able to anticipate the occurrence of line stops due to part shortages. This research succeeded in designing the kanban system, kanban cards and determining the number of kanban in circulation.

Abstract

Himpunan Mahasiwa Teknik Industri sendiri mempunyai staf dewan HMTI sebagai jabatan khusus yang bertanggung jawab besar dalam bergeraknya suatu organisasi yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Himpunan. Sistem penilaian kinerja anggota himpunan dilakukan pada setiap departemen untuk dievaluasi dalam menentukan para anggota yang memiliki kinerja baik. Alat ukur tersebut dapat ditentukan dengan menggunakan Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengurus Himpunan tersebut hingga terpenuhi 100% maka dapat menggunakan strategi yaitu dengan memberikan reward pada kinerja mahasiswa. Cara lain untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengurus Himpunan tersebut yaitu melancarkan bagian administrasi dan persyaratan saat mengadakan acara.

Abstract

Abstract The main key for a company to survive and compete in the MEA era is to focus on quality, both product quality and quality in the production process. Quality improvement is a major concern for the company. Quality improvements make the defect product can be reduced to a minimum until it reaches zero defect. This study aims to determine the quality of Plastic Screen Printing products, analyze the types of product defects and defects in the production process, priority product defects, the root causes of disabilities, and the proposed improvement in CV. BAYOR PRINT 69. This study uses primary data obtained from direct interviews with relevant informants and uses secondary data in the form of production data and Plastic Screening defect data CV. BAYOR PRINT 69 in January-December 2018. The informants in this study consisted of employees who worked at CV. BAYOR PRINT 69. This study was analyzed using Pareto diagrams, fish bone diagrams, and brainstorming techniques. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the quality of Plastic Screen Printing products is relatively good, (2) the most defects are found in the A1 defect group, namely the paint which is melted on the plastic, (3) humans are the factors causing the most defects, (4) the solution improvement that can be applied is to apply the three functions of the poka yoke method, namely warning, control, and shut down, as well as the addition of the machine operator. Abstract

Perkembangan industri di Indonesia sangatlah pesat, hal ini memacu perusahaan industri untuk terus bersaing dan melakukan perbaikan dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya. Sistem produksi yang efektif dan efisien akan menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dan kompetitif, sehingga perusahaan dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal dan terhindar dari yang namanya kerugian. Kerugian yang dialami oleh perusahaan salah satunya disebabkan oleh adanya pemborosan (waste). PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu dari beberapa produsen rokok di Indonesia yang telah dikenal masyarakat. Perusahaan ini sering mengalami permasalahan yang timbul karena adanya permborosan. Sebagai contoh pemborosan yang sering terjadi yaitu adanya delay yang sering terjadi pada proses produksi barang. Proses penyimpanan Calsioum Oksida di Gudang cenderung merusak kualitas, di karenakan sifat Calsium Oksida yang rentan terkena udara bebas, sehingga harus di analisa kembali fentilasi udara di dalam Gudang, jenis packing yang di gunakan dan sistem barang masuk dan barang keluar.
