The title of this research is to Know the Japanese Character Profile. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Ganbaru philosophy in the formation of the character of the Japanese nation. The concept of ganbaru; survive, never give up, and do the best, which is implemented on the daily behavior of Japanese society. With descriptive research method of analysis, can describe the elements forming the character of the Japanese nation. This research can show that ganbaru philosophy has been practiced in many aspects of Japanese society life to bring the nation of Japan forward in world level.Key words : Profile of character, philosophy Ganbaru, Japanese nation

Japan holds the 3rd rank as the biggest suicide (jisatsu) nation in the world after Korea and Hungary with total 29.442 suicide cases based by the data released by WHO in 2012. The biggest suicide cases occurred in 2008 with total casualties 34.000. The factor that trigger suicide are health issue, financial, and household problem.

Japan is a developed nation in a variety of fields. The key to success for the nation of Japan is inseparable from the attitude to life which respects its cultural values are realized in everyday life as the character education. This research emphasis on the attitude of empathy as a reflection of the morality of society Japan. The attitude of empathy is one of character education developed in Japan and must be instilled from an early age. The attitude of empathy because of friendship and togetherness that this high esteem is a value that becomes the cornerstone of people's lives so that Japan reached its former glory until now.Keywords: moral, empaty, character education.

Like a coin, language and culture are two things that can not be separated. Through language, we can see the concept that is owned by a nation. In this article, the author intends to write one of the concepts embraced by Japanese society, namely uchi-soto. The embodiment of this concept is visible from the language they use. The structure in the demontrative pronoun (kosoado), the give-receive verb (jujudoushi), the honorific word (keigo), the forms of personal pronoun are the many Japanese patterns that presenting the uchi- soto. This article aims to explain the form and expression of the basic Japanese use of the concept on the value of uchi-soto through various examples of sentences anad speech. The data used in this article is taken from various libraries, such as from textbooks, short stories and dialogue in Japanese movies.

There are different types of particles in Japanese. These particles play a role in determining the relationships between words that make up a sentence and also play a role in determining the meaning of a sentence. Nevertheless, the particles are often deliberately eliminated in conversation. This article aims to explain about some particles that are often eliminated in the language of the conversation, how it can happen, and when the use of such particles is absolutely necessary. The data are collected from textbooks and children's stories containing sentences that have particle elimination. In this article, based on data collection , there are five types of particles that are most often eliminated: ga, o, wa, e, and ni. From the analysis results, most of the elimination occurs in speech or verbal sentences that are spoken in informal situations. Although eliminated, it did not cause misunderstandings related to the meaning of a speech because the particle elimination will not affect communication. This is because the speakers already have the same background knowledge related to the topic of conversation.

Japan is a country in Asia which is interesting to review. The purpose of this paper is to find ethically of Japan Society struggle in building the nation and the state. The ethics of the struggle of Japan pulling studied because the struggle the people of Japan have reached a goal that is being developed and prosperous.This paper is a study of librarianship. The material object in this paper is the struggle of life society Japan, while the formal object is ethics. The method used is a description and interpretations.The key to success in the construction began of building the individual responsible and strict norms. A shame for the people of Japan into energy to act right. Failure to achieve the expectations of perceived as failure to maintain the norm. This means that the same failure with dereliction of duty so feel have no self-esteem. A person's self-esteem is reflected in the existence of responsibility, think, act, and work correctly.

The nation of Japan immediately first settled in many ways especially the cultural reform. The method used is a description and the interpretation. The success of the nation of Japan to build his country with cultural reforms. They change the mental attitude through the reform of customs that are no longer in accordance with the changing times. Consistency and continuity into the keyword success of the Nation of Japan. MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KANJI MELALUI MEDIA KANJI GAME ONLINE Dyah Prasetiani

(Title: Improving The Capabilities Of Agency Through Media Kanji Game Online) Japanese has several types of letters namely hiragana, katakana, kanji, and romaji. Each letter has its own uniqueness. For foreign learners, kanji is considered the most difficult. The results of interviews on the third semester students who followed the Kanji Shochukyu course showed that students often have difficulty in memorizing kanji, often forget the shape so that they are not able to write kanji correctly, and are often confused between read On and Kun. To overcome student difficulties in memorizing kanji, the author tries to use kanji media online game. The method used is experiment with experiment class and control class. The instrument used is postes. The result of the postes shows that the mean value of the experimental class is 82.5 while the control class is 70.1. Keywords: kanji; game online

Learning process in universities in Indonesia today have not give the students balanced competencies in soft skills (such as communication, adaptation, leadership, teamwork, etc) and hard skills yet, because the lecturers tend to focuse on hard skills’ competencies only. Some students who don’t realize the soft skills’ competencies in learning foreign language and literature has made this worse. Therefore, this paper attempt to present to lecturers and students about how soft skills’ competencies can be presented in foreign language and literature learning. With Action Research’s method, in once reading learning of Diponegoro University Japanese Study Program’s 3rd grade students, the enhancement of students’ compentencies in soft skills can be known. The result is, competencies in soft skills’ teaching material can be added in language and literature learning.

This title resserach is Ojigi Culture (Bow the body) and Its Function in Japanese life. Ojigi is a Japanese identity. Ojigi as a culture that is done massively respect and infiltrate in Japanese people. Bow the body activity is not only routine and glance physical This activity has deep meaning, goal, or lesson and value. The purpose of this resseach are, first: achieving the right ilustration about Ojigi, the second: obtaining image about Ojigi meaning and the function of ojigi. This ressearch is ressearch model that combine between literary review and field ressearch model. Material object of this ressearch is Ojigi. The formal object of this ressearch is analyzing Ojigi culture deeply to find hidden philosophy or values includes inside. The main method used in this ressearch are interpretation and analyzing.
