Abstract

The purpose of this study is describing condition mapped of metalcrafters financial literacy in the province of East Java. The research uses a qualitative approach by implementing a phenomenological study. Data collection technique used in-depth interviews with eight metalcrafters. The results of this study are researchers obtained a 4-dimensional shape of a metalcrafters financial literacy in East Java, which is the dimension of knowledge about financial terminology, dimension of money management, the dimensions of financial record and system of work, and an explain the condition of financial literacy metalcrafters about knowledge about taxes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ethnic background,  adversity quotient and self-regulated learning of the students entrepreneurial orientation SMP Negeri 31 Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in class VII and VIII in SMP Negeri 31 Surabaya for academic year of  2014-2015 with population of 663 students. Sample was 249 students, selected by proportional random sampling. Data analysed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed  there is positive and significant effect ethnic backgrounds, intelligence adversity and self-regulated learning of the students' entrepreneurial orientation SMP Negeri 31 Surabaya either partially or simultaneously. The influence of ethnic background, adversity quotient and self-regulated learning of the students' entrepreneurial orientation amounted to 63.8%, while the rest  influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study starts from the problem of the using of technology-based learning media. Nowadays, this media more needed. Why? Because students more like learn using the technology than using the conventional method. But the utilization of economic-accounting learning media not being used optimally. There are economic-accounting learning media on YouTube have no interesting content. Contents that show on YouTube are about the hobby and art. So, the aim of this study is to know the properness of technology-based learning media development on YouTube. The subjects of this study are 2 expert test subjects and 24 trial test subjects. Trial test subjects are students of Economic Education FKIP UKSW. The result of this study is technology-based learning media can be used by students. This media proper as economic-accountings learning media. Hopefully, in the future studies can be able to improve the economic-accounting learning media on YouTube.

Abstract

This research to know socio economic status influence socio economic status and learning outcome economy by partial and together to literacy VIII SMPN class student's economy 43 Surabaya. The research is quantitative approach. Total Sample as much as 176 VIII class student from population total of  314 students. Research result indicate that the economic and social status of the study results in significant economic literacy on partial and together, it means that parents and socio economic status in both high economic study results will boost the knowledge and economic literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness level of Edmodo use, to know the level of student's satisfaction in using Edmodo and the effect of Edmodo effectiveness on student's satisfaction in using Edmodo in SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. The method used is the quantitative method. As the object of this study is students of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya who asked his opinion about the effectiveness and satisfaction of students in using Edmodo. In this study took a sample of class X with the number of respondents as many as 277 students spread in 9 majors and 24 classes. Samples are taken evenly of each class at random. Data collection was done by questionnaire and data analyst method was done by simple linear regression. Conclusion analysis as follows: 1). Edmodo Efektitifas by Students SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya is in the high category, but some students have not felt the benefits of Edmodo in learning. 2). Student Satisfaction SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya in using Edmodo is in the high category, but some students are not satisfied with the content group and students are less satisfied with the backpack content. 3). There is a significant effect of Edmodo Effectiveness on students' satisfaction in using Edmodo in SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

Learning achievement is one of the benchmarks of student ability. in this case affecting the learning achievement there are two external and internal. In this case the data obtained will be low while the liveliness of PGRI Situbondo STKIP students in the classroom as well as the development of data of graduates decreased levels of GPA. The purpose of this research that determines the effect of learning motivation, self-control and Critical Thinking on student achievement, economic education STKIP PGRI Situbondo. This research study Associative manifold with the causal relationship is causal with a quantitative approach. This study population is students of economics education study program STKIP PGRI force situbondo 2012, 2013, 2014, amounting to 210 students. Data collection method in this research is the method enclosed questionnaire that supported an open questionnaire on 138 samples. The test results indicate there are significant learning motivation on learning achievement, there is a self-control influence on learning achievement, and there is the influence of Critical Thinking on learning achievement. While simultaneously there are significant learning motivation, self-control and Critical Thinking on student achievement Prodi Economic Education STKIP PGRI Situbondo.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in vocational education in Surabaya is still lack of attention. Many educators are paying less attention to character growth and entrepreneurial behavior. Their orientation is, generally only on preparing the workforce. To that end, the solution needs to be sought, how education can serve to turn people into human character or behavior and entrepreneurship. The research, therefore, aims at obtaining an explanation of the influence of teachers' entrepreneurship credibility and authenticity on the students entrepreneurial character in SMK Negeri Surabaya. This research is a verification. The technique used to test the hypothesis is structural equation model (SEM). The results provide an explanation that the variable credibility and authenticity of entrepreneurship teachers have simultaneous significant effect on students entrepreneurial character in SMK Negeri Surabaya, whereas the two variables are partially proven to be unsignificant.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the entrepreneurial leadership of SMEs Tofu "RDS" and description about the obstacles experienced by SMEs Tofu "RDS". This research uses descriptive qualitative research design that aims to obtain the information available at this time, and then attempt to describe, record and interpret the information. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. This type of qualitative research is case study. The result of the research is the condition of entrepreneurial leadership from the leadership of SMEs Tofu "RDS" is generally good because he is able to motivate employees well, have a picture of the future effort, able to read opportunities well, actively seeking new ideas, persistent in running their business And barriers faced by SMEs Tofu "RDS" can be overcome well by the leadership of SMEs Tofu RDS.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to see the effectiveness of the concept of gamification that is applied in the learning process of the subject of Renewal of Economic Education Learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study are students of class 06PIEE001 FKIP Pamulang University. In this study adopted Marczewski's Gamification Framework concept which consists of 8 questions: 1) what is being gamified; 2) why is it being gamified; 3) who are the users; 4) how is it being gamified; 5) analytics are set up; 6) tested with users; 7) acted on feedback; and 8) released the solution. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that 1) the learning process in the course of Renewal of Economic Education Learning can be done with the concept of gamification by combining face-to-face learning in the classroom with online learning learning; 2) student response in learning process with gamification concept mostly interested because it is new for them; 3) there is a nurturant effect for as long as the concept of gamification is applied in the class

Abstract

Wirausaha Baru Jawa Barat Program (WUB Jabar Program) which organized by Badiklatkop Bandung, is an entrepreneurship training in 3 choices of business field, those are food-beverage, convection, and salon. Participants are divided into Ide Bisnis class, Start-up class, or Growth class. Ide Bisnis Class is for participants who do not have a business, or already have a business but not yet reached the age of 1 year. Through a survey of 237 Ide Bisnis class graduates, there were 21 people who failed in establishing their new business after participated in the program. This research aims to determine the factors that caused failure. The qualitative descriptive method used in this research. Data collection techniques with an observation of program WUB Jabar, and interviews with 7 graduates who experienced business failure, also to 5 graduates whose business is still continuing. Data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman models. The results of this research explained that the main factor causing graduates new business failure is the barrier on capital because barriers on capital causing barriers on other factors. And capital factor is also the most difficult barrier to be solved by the graduates who do not experience the business failure
