Abstract

ABSTRAK Belakangan ini permasalahan lingkungan menjadi isu strategis yang hangat dibicarakan berbagai pihak dan berbagai kalangan. Persoalan-persoalan lingkungan yang timbul sekarang ini tentu tidak lepas dari cara pandang, pemahaman, sikap dan perilaku manusia terhadap alam. Oleh sebab itu mengobati persoalan tersebut harus dari akar permasalahannya, yaitu manusia itu sendiri. Bertitik tolak dari pemikiran di atas, sekolah merupakan satu unit lingkungan yang unik yang dapat dijadikan sebagai model pembentukann keperibadian yang didasari oleh pembentukan pemahaman dan perlakuan attau tindakan. Sekolah sebagai satu unit lingkungan merupakan tempat belajar, mendidik sekaligus ruang praktek yang nyata dalam pembentukan pemahaman, sikap dan perilaku yang sadar terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstrak Assets-based development is a theoritical approach have been developed for development planning for more optimistic, relying on endegenous development, more innovative and have ability to enhance the capacity and mobilize assets to transform the society. This approach criticized needs-oriented solution in development thinking that is development driven by external resources and more emphasized mapping problem and deficiency on people and place. As consequences, pessimism is growing and so many resources or assets existed or potential in a territory is neglected. This article discussed concept of assets-based planning and compared it with needs-oriented approach. Some examples from Indonesian development planning cases are also described.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to map the problem of the SK/KD students who have not dominated the UN competency test subjects Geography 2008, 2009, and 2010. Research conducted at SMAN 1 Pasaman, SMAN 1 Kinali, and Private School Al Istiqamah West Pasaman. This research is a descriptive study that describes the: 1) identify the outcome document of UN 2008, 2009, and 2010, 2) mapping the SK/KD students who have not dominated the UN competency test < 60, 3) identify the causes of low absorption of students through observation and distributing questionnaires to the geography teacher, and the students of class XI, 4) formulate an alternative model of problem solving through group discussion forum (FGD) with supervisor, principals, teachers, supervisors, student representatives, parent representatives. Research found that: 1) mapping the results of competency tests that have not dominated the UN SK/Specific KD of 42.5 percent in 2008, the year 2009 was 32.5 percent, and in 2010 ranged from 40.0 percent, 2) the factors causing the low level of student mastery of the competency test by the UN due to school factors, and subjects factor, 3) Alternative models of problem solving through the development of instructional workshops, and designing alternative models of learning through field trips as a geography laboratory applications.

Abstract

Cocoa or also known as chocolate is widely planted around the yard of the house .Crop Production price was very good in the market so it can help increase incomes. Lately cocoa crop production suffered many failures, especially in Kenagarian Lima Kaum, Tanah Datar Regency. The high risk of failure of cocoa crop yields caused by pests and diseases , among others : the fruit and stem borer can cause fruit to rot blackened . Besides cocoa pods are also attacked by fungus , which causes fruit rot entirely rotten and there is also a portion of the fruit . Chemical control had a negative impact on the environment and humans as well as livestock. While the use of botanical pesticides do not cause negative impacts to the human environment and animals, because these pesticides readily biodegradable and water soluble, readily available , cost less and homemade. Then the pesticide manufacturing plant is considered an appropriate choice is applied to agricultural productivity , especially in the cocoa plant back up and better welfare of the farming community .

Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu prinsip pembelajaran yang perlu mendapat perhatian khusus dalam pendidikan profesi guru, antara lain adalah pengembangan sistem pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (higher order thinking). Berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, serta mampu memecah masalah dan pengambilan keputusan. Berpikir kritis, perlu dikembangkan untuk semua bidang studi, tanpa terkecuali dalam pembelajaran geografi. Berpikir kritis diantaranya dapat dilakukan menggunakan pertanyan pada ranah kogntitif.

Abstract

Potensi anak dalam pembelajaran, idealnya di dorong sampai pada tingkat yang optimal. Dalam hal ini, guru memiliki peranan penting antara lain: 1) mengenal konsep diri yang baik, 2) guru memiliki keahlian yang maksimal, 3) guru mampu menampilkan sosok diri yang menarik, 4) guru mampu memberikan kemampuan anak. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang perlu dilakukan guru antara lain: 1) pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada anak, 2) pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif, 3) pembelajaran yang mempertimbangkan lingkungan yang kondusif, 4) pembelajaran terpadu, 5) pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan keterampilan hidup.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze data on the influence of initial ability and soft skills to the cartography learning outcomes, the influence of soft skills learning outcomes and influence the ability of early cartography and soft skills together on student learning outcomes at the course cartography. The type of research is a correlational descriptive research that looked at the relationship between one or several variables with one or more other variables. The independent variable is the ability to start and soft skills as well as the dependent variable is the result of studying cartography. The population in this study amounted to 193 people and the sample is 66 people selected by simple random sampling. Initial capability data and study results taken from the student while in high school geography class XII and class X semester 1 semester 1 and 2 and the UN geography subjects. Soft Skills While data collected through a structured questionnaire with Likert Scale models. Prior to the analysis carried out the analysis of test requirements test for normality, homogeneity, linearity and multicollinearity. After that, an analysis of descriptive and inferential statistics. The technique used is the correlation and regression. The results revealed: 1). Initial ability affects the outcome of student learning in cartography courses at 14, 00%, 2). Soft Skills effect on student learning outcomes in Cartography course at 24, 30%, 3). Initial ability and soft skills together influence the learning outcomes of students in cartography courses of 32, 40%. Based on the above result, it is to improve student learning outcomes in cartography courses in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Science, State University of Padang needs to consider the initial ability and soft skills. Therefore, provisions need to be clear about the entry requirements to the department of geography for high school graduates and educators in this study need to device balanced learning between hard skills with soft skills. This can be done by integrating aspects of soft skills into learning

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang berkualitas ditandai dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Indikasi utama terlaksananya pembelajaran yang berkualitas adalah terbentuknya disiplin belajar siswa yang optimal. Optimalnya disiplin dalam pembelajaran dapat terlaksana apabila reward dan punisment berjalan seimbang. Abstract

Abstract This research aim to analyze the noise intensity in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang. Analysing physiological trouble, psycological trouble, trouble of communication and hearing trouble from noise to employees in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang. This research have the character of quantitative descriptive that is see the noise intensity and its influence to employees in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang. For the data of noise intensity conducted by measurement use the appliance of sound level metre and while for the data of employees feeling noise influence conducted by giving kuisioner. Analyse the data use the analyse of univariat and bivariat. Result of measurement of noise intensity in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang by using appliance of sound level metre at five visible measurement dot that its intensity have exceeded the value float the boundary specified for the workplace of by ministrial decree of labour No 51/Men/1999 that is 85 dB (A). physiological trouble of laboring employees in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang the field got that experiencing of physiological trouble with the sigh at most happened that is headache. Psycological trouble of laboring employees in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang the field got that experiencing of psychological trouble with the sigh at most happened that is concentration less in working caused by his is clunk. Laboring employees communications trouble in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang got that experiencing of communications trouble with the friends work to scream. Laboring employees hearing trouble in PLTD Sentral II PT Semen Padang got by that experiencing of hearing trouble with the sigh which is at most happened by that is ear often felt to be stuffed up.
