Abstract

Bekerja sebagai perawat tidak bisa lepas dari shift kerja, setiap rumah sakit memiliki shift kerja yang berbeda-beda, ketidak aturan jadwal shift kerja dapat menyebabkan kelelahan pada tenaga kerja, setiap tahunnya ada lebih dari 250 juta kecelakan di tempat kerja dan lebih dari 160 juta pekerja menjadi sakit karena bahaya pada tempat kerja, dan 1,2 juta meninggal akibat kecelakan kerja karena kelelahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan shift kerja dengan kelelahan kerja perawat di Ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat RSUD Budhi Asih Jakarta Timur.Penelitian dilakukan pada periode April sampai Agustus 2019. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. pengambilan sampel secara total sampling dengan jumlah 30 responden. Hasil uji chi-square didapatkan nilai p-value 0.010 < 0.05, artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara shift kerja dengan kelelahan kerja perawat Instalasi Gawat Darurat RSUD Budhi Asih Jakarta Timur. Hasil Odds Ratio (OR) 11.000 (1.998-60.572) CI 95%. Rumah sakit perlu mengimbangi pembagian shift kerja dengan waktu istirahat dan mengatur penjadwalan shift kerja secara proporsional.

Abstract

Transmisi bakteri dari anus ke orifisium uretra dan vagina pada perempuan akibat tidak terjaganya status higienitas genitalia dengan baik dapat menyebabkan terjadinya infeksi pada sistem urogenital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran status higienitas genitalia pada mahasiswi di Universitas wilayah Depok. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 365 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Cluster Sampling. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa gambaran status higienitas genitalia adalah kurang baik (78,6%). Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada mahasiswi untuk lebih memperhatikan higienitas genitalia saat kuliah dan kepada pendidikan untuk melakukan pemberian edukasi mengenai pentingnya higienitas genitalia

Abstract

Fatigue is an occupational health problem that needs special attention. Fatigue for everyone is subjective because it is related to feelings, because in addition to being influenced by physical and biological factors, fatigue is also influenced by psychological factors (psychology). This study aims to determine the factors that influence work fatigue in nurses at the Early Bross Hospital in Bekasi in 2018 with a sample of 60 respondents and data collected using a questionnaire. The object of this study was the nurse of the Bross Early Hospital. The design of this study is a descriptive analytic study using a quantitative approach. Independent variables (characteristics: age, sex, length of work). The dependent variable is work fatigue. The results obtained from this study that there is a significant effect between p-value age (0.001), p-value workload (0.001), p-value work attitude (0.001).

Abstract

Children with Special Needs with autism have a delay in fine motor development. This study aims to determine the effect of coloring therapeutic play on fine motor skills of school-aged children with autism in the Pelita Hati School Jakarta. The study was conducted from April to July 2017. The design of this research design was quasi-experimental with the Pre and Post Test Control Group Design approach. The total sample of 12 children with a total sampling technique. Based on the Paired Sample T-test, there was an influence of playing therapeutic coloring on fine motor in the control and intervention groups with p Value 0.005 and 0.002 (p <0.05; 95% CI). There were significant differences in fine motor skills in the control and intervention groups during the pre-test and post-test with p values ​​of 0.0465 and 0.0005 (p <0.05; 95% CI). It is expected that school institution can implement continuous teraupeutic play, in order to improve the fine motor skills of autistic special need children through innovative terupeutic playing programs.

Abstract

Knowledge transfer by disseminating scientific literature (evidence) of nurses in Depok through a mobile application is potential. However, the area of interest in the evidence is unknown. This study aims to identify areas of interest in evidence as a recommendation for the mobile application content. This demographic questionnaire was completed online by 110 nurses in two public and private public hospitals in Depok City in August and September 2019. Descriptive analysis showed nurses were interested in Surgical Medical Nursing (47.3%), Nursing Management (24.5%), Child Nursing (11.8%) and Emergency Nursing (10.9%). The content of evidence in mobile applications for nurses in hospitals needs to prioritize these areas of interest.

Abstract

Every company that employs a workforce of 100 or more people and / or has potential hazards caused by the characteristics of the material production process that can result in work accidents such as: blasting, fire, pollution and occupational diseases, are required to apply SMK3. Fire is caused by various factors, but in general the factors that cause fire are human factors and technical factors. Fire events can be prevented by implementing an active protection system namely fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, detection system, fire alarm. This study aims to determine the description of the application of active protection systems and fire prevention efforts in the office building of PT. PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Bekasi Area. Qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach, to understand the phenomena about what is experienced by the research subjects. The focus of this study refers to the question of the application of an active protection system in fire prevention efforts, namely fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, detection system, and alarm as well as knowing emergency response procedures, information about potential fire hazards, and lightning protection systems. This research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Bekasi Area Jl. Cut Meutia 44, Margahayu East Bekasi, held on April 2 - 30 April 2018. The sampling method used in this study was puposive sampling. The number of samples that became informants was 6 people. The results of research on active protection systems in PT. PLN (Persero) West Java Bekasi Area Distribution namely APAR is in accordance based on PER.04 / MEN / 1980, Hydrants are partially incompatible based on PU PERMEN NO.26 / PRT / M / 2008, Detection Systems are in accordance based on PER.02 / MEN / 1983, and the Fire Alarm is not yet according to PER.02 / MEN / 1983. It is recommended to PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution West Java Bekasi Area repaired immediately by replacing the new one from the elements of the active protection system that was damaged namely Hydrant and Fire Alarm and installed a detection system in the new room of the PDKB.

Abstract

Fatigue is a condition that has a sign of reduced capacity that a person has for activities and is usually characterized by a feeling of fatigue and weakness. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with work exhaustion on online motorcycle taxi drivers. The design of this study is an analytical study using a quantitative approach, with a cross sectional study, where the research subjects were Online Ojek Riders in East Jakarta with a sample of 80 respondents. The results showed that the highest BMI category measurement was in the Normal category 58.8%, while in the skinny-fat category 41.3%. The results of the study found that the condition of online motorcycle taxi drivers experienced mild fatigue as much as 75.0%. The results of Bivariate analysis p-value values ​​get a relationship between age variables (p-value: 0.210), marital status (p-value: 0.549), educational background (p-value: 0.131), working time (p-value: 0.447) , BMI (p-value: 0.605) with the variable exhaustion of online motorcycle taxi drivers. It can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between age with work fatigue, marital status with work exhaustion, educational background with work fatigue, work time with work exhaustion, BMI with work exhaustion. It is recommended for motorcycle taxi drivers online to add insight into good Safety Riding, so that it can reduce the risk of work fatigue.

Abstract

Smoking a cigarette will greatly affect the increase in blood pressure, and nicotine will cause stimulation of the hormone Epinephrine (Adrenaline) which is stimulated to increase heart frequency, blood pressure, heart oxygen demand, and cause heart rhythm disorders. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of smoking behavior with physical health conditions in STIKes PHI students in 2018. This research is a quantitative research with analytic research using cross-sectional study design that aims to determine the relationship between smoking behavior and physical health condition of students. The results showed that most respondents' smoking behavior were filter cigarettes (98.2%), the number of consumption of 1-10 cigarettes per day (100.0%), duration of smoking ≤ 5 years (75.4%), category of light smokers (75.4%). In general, it was found that the health conditions of the respondents were in good health (86.0%). The results showed that no significant relationship was found between the independent variables (age, study program, level, regional origin and smoking behavior), with the dependent variable (health condition). It is recommended that more detailed research be conducted on respondents with different populations for comparison. Further research is also needed to see the relationship between different variables.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is still a major global health problem. According to WHO in 2013, there were around 8.6 million people fell ill with pulmonary TB and 1.3 million died from pulmonary TB. WHO set 22 countries in the world as countries with high TB ​​disease problems (high burden countries), that countries cover 63% of the world's population, around 80% of the estimated number of new TB cases that occur worldwide each year. This study aimed to determine the relationship of motivation and family support with adherence to take medication for adult Lung TB patients in the Work Area of ​​the Duren Sawit District of East Jakarta. The study design was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were productive age pulmonary TB patients (15 to 59 years) who had undergone treatment for ≥ 6 months in the working area of ​​the Duren Sawit District Health Center in East Jakarta. The results showed the most dominant variable was the family support variable with a p-value of 0,000, OR 15,930, 95% CI (5,285-48,017), which means that good family support had a 15,930 times chance of complying with medication in patients with pulmonary TB compared to not good family support, and the confounding variable was gender the sex with a p-value of 0.175, OR 1,838 CI 95% (0.762-4,431) which means that gender is not related to adherence to taking medication in pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Compliance is how much the worker has to obey or undergo the applicable regulations related to work safety. The aim is to find out the factors related to worker’s compliance in implementing standard work procedures at PT Meiyume Indonesia in 2019. The design of this research is descriptive with quantitative approach using cross sectional method. The population in this study were 90 people. The number of samples taken was 50 people selected using accident sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using Chi Square. Study results showed a significant relationship between motivation (P-Value = 0,000), attitude (P-Value = 0.010), rewards and penalties (P-Value = 0.002). Whereas no relationship was found between age, knowledge and length of work. This concluded that there must be a higher motivation, a more positive attitude and rewards and penalties should be more established. The company is recommended to improve structured training on work safety procedures provided directly to workers and monitor their application in work processes.
