Abstract

Basic immunization compliance is influenced by several factorswhich included parents/guardians’ knowledge. This study is aimed to find out how the knowledge factor influences parents/guardians’ compliance in taking infants for basic immunization. This study was carried out at RSPAD Gatot Subroto Pediatric Polyclinic in March 2016 with a total population of 35 parents/guardians. This study used descriptive method with cr4oss sectional approach. Questionaires on knowledge were distributed to respondents and immunization compliance recorded through KMS (Towards Health Card) observation. Chi Square analysis showed p value of 0.04 showing strong influence between parents/guardians’ knowledge on immunization and parents/gua rdians’ compliance in bringing children to be immunized. Education on immunization is very important to be given to parents/guardians at every visitation and this aspect need to be facilitated by the hospital.

Abstract

Shifting the public and consumers is a result of increased knowledge and consumer awareness of health improvement. People who are aware of their right to health care and medicine, ethical and legal issues are increasing as people receive health services. Provision of health services that are less satisfying and less human or not as expected, the legal problems and ethical dilemmas will increase. The aim of research is to determine the relationship between prescription services and patient satisfaction in Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Type analytic survey research using cross sectional design. The study was conducted from March to May 2015 with a population of 9504 inhabitants and the sample of 100 respondents was searched using random sampling techniques. Chi-square statistic test found that there is no relationship between variable Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Tangible with the level of patient satisfaction. Respondent’s level of satisfaction in the service of prescription drugs say satisfied more than that to says less satisfied. The clerk at the service of prescription drugs while improving the quality of service so that visitors will still be satisfied.

Abstract

Narkoba or drugs is a materia /substance that can affect mental condition / psychologically (thoughts, feelings, and behavior,) and can cause physical and psychological dependence. Which is included in the drug are: narcotics, psychotropic and others addictive substances. Drugs an abbreviation of Narcotics and Drugs / hazardous materials that have been circulating in the communit y popular urban and rural, including for law enforcement officials. The design study is a descriptive study. This descriptive study aimed to find out the correlation between knowledge and attitude of students STIKes PHI against the dangers of smoking. The approach used in this study design was a cross sectional study in which data collection is done only once on each respondent. The number of samples obtained using formulas is equal to 84. Characteristics of respondents in the can through data collection consisted of five variables, such as age, gender, place of origin, religion, and Majors / semester. The results of this study are respondents aged over 20 years (66.7%), gender of respondents more men (56.0%) than women. The area of origin of respondents more than the area of West Kalimantan (75%). Religion 36.9% of respondents were Catholic. D-3 and S-1 student knowledge which 51.2% had poor knowledge about drugs. Student attitudes towards drug showed results of 58.3% had a positive attitude towards drugs. In this study showed a significant relationship between the variables knowledge with attitudes towards drugs, p-value = 0.024.

Abstract

Conducive organizational climate associated with conformity, responsibility, standards, rewards, organizational clarity, warmth, support, and leadership will make satisfaction in work, it is not perceived by nurses at Pertamina Jaya Hospital in Jakarta illustrated turnover rate tends to increase, not there is no certainty to be appointed as a permanent employee, you want to get the award. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship with job satisfaction organizational climate nurse. This research uses descriptive correlation study with a sample of 129 nurses. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed using Chi Square test and multiple logistic regressions. Results obtained the significant relationship between organizational climate (conformity, organizational clarity, warmth and support leadership) with nurse job satisfaction on p = 0000-0019; α = 0.05, and the most dominant variable was the variable of leadership. Good leadership has the opportunity to work feeling satisfied, where nurses receive further guidance or input nurses feel supported , valued and get a solution if they find problems in the execution of their duties.

Abstract

Indonesia is the fifth highest country with pulmonary TB patients in the world after India, China, South Africa, and Nigeria (WHO, 2009). World Health Organization, declared a global emergency on the subject of Pulmonary TB because,in the most countries it has been uncontrolled. Anti-TB drug resistance case is a difficult one to handle as it is not only more difficult and more expensive, but also has greater side effects with the unsatisfying result. The purpose of this study is to determine the overview of knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of TB patients in taking anti-TB drugs with treatment successes in Public Health Center of Pondok Gede Bekasi. The study used a qualitative approach with design study case. Then, the sources of primary data in this study were obtained by interviewing informants and the public health center officers directly. Interviews were conducted in patients who have a history of positive pulmonary TB disease visiting the health center ( primary data) and observations. Furthermore, observations were carried out with the documents used in the implementation of the tuberculosis program. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained by collecting the public health center written reports.The informants of this study are coordinators and person in charge of TB of the public health center. According to them, the strategy of TB treatment in the public healt h center is by implementing DOTS, Direct Observed Treatment Short-course. Furthermore, they consist of one male, knowledge about and one female, and there is different both of the informant pulmonary TB disease. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease due to impaired metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins are characterized by elevated blood sugar levels. Some literature mentions the increasing prevalence of diabetes mellitus is usually influenced by the diet behavior and physical activity. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of health care, diet and physical activity with the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in the elderly in Puskesmas Pondok Gede Bekasi in 2013. The design of this research using the quantitative approach analytical method with case-control studies and supported qualitative methods depth interview. The sampling method is purposive sampling. Respondents were patients who visit the elderly Poly Health Center Pondok Gede Bekasi 60 respondents consisting of 30 respondents in the case group and 30 respondents in the control group. The informants were the patient's family who drove as many as three people and two health workers. The results showed a significant relationship between diet behavior and the prevalence of diabetes mellitus is r = -0.407 and a significant level of p = 0.002 and OR = 0.127. The relationship between physical activity with the prevalence of diabetes mellitus with r = -0.041 and p = 0.002 and OR = 0.182. Conclusion, there is a significant relationship between diet and physical activity and the incidence of diabetes mellitus in the elderly in Puskesmas Pondok Gede Bekasi. Qualitative studies show that elderly health care program at the health center and Posbindu still focused on medical examination and treatmen t. Preventive and Promotive activities such as gymnastics elderly and counseling not running optimally. Suggestions for improved dietary counseling program for people with diabetes and increase the frequency of elderly gymnastic activities to five times a week.

Abstract

Identifying the needs in nursing care in clinical practice is imperative to prepare expected competent graduated by the user. Nursing care are implemented based on the determined diagnosis. This study aimed to identify the profile of nursing diagnosis problems documented at RSUD Pasar Rebo in June 2015. The nursing diagnosis were identified from 144 in-patients’ medical records at 12 wards. Using proportional random sampling, 25 kinds of nursing diagnosis were documented but amongst 5 are excluded. The nurses documented 0-8 diagnosis per patient with the average 3 diagnosis per patient across wards. The data were analyzed from 367 diagnosis. The most frequent diagnosis are risk of infection (27%), risk/aktual deficient fluid volume (14%), and pain (11%). There is a need in further study of the nurses’ skills in determining nursing diagnosis. Educational institutions are challen88lged to prepare their students to be able to deliver nursing care especially the most frequent nursing diagnosis.

Abstract

Mencuci tangan adalah membersihkan tangan dari segala kotoran, dimulai dari ujung jari sampai lengan dan membuang kotoran serta debu secara mekanik dari kulit kedua belah tangan dengan memakai sabun dan air.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang cuci tangan dengan praktek cuci tangan di STIKes Persada Husada Indonesia (STIKes PHI). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu total sampling dengan responden adalah mahasiswa tingkat 3 program studi DIII keperawatan STIKes PHI berjumlah 65 orang . Proses penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2016. Hasil penelitian bahwa tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara jenis kelamin dengan praktek cuci tangan (p=0.56> 0.05); Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan praktek cuci tangan (P=0.56> 0.05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa diantara variabel pengetahuan dan karakteristik responden (jenis kelamin) tidak ada yang memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan praktek cuci tangan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Prodi D3 keperawatan STIKes PHI khususnya tingkat III lebih banyak yang belum mempraktekan cara cuci tangan dengan benar.

Abstract

Quality of community health centre service is considered by the the health service that is able to create patient’s satisfaction targetted by the health centre. Based on the results of earlier survey conducted by the researcher at Puskesmas Duren Sawit, it was found that there is still pasient’s cummulation at waiting room of admission. This showed the poor given service quality. This study aimed to explain the perception influences of service quality dimensional that consists of physical proof, reliability, responsiveness, guarantee and certainity, and the empathy towards the satisfaction and interest of the outpatients to revisit Puskesmas Duren Sawit year 2016. The population in this study were 99 patients utilizing outpatient services on July 2016. Data was collected using questionares and analysed with Univariate, Bivariate and IPA (Importance Performing Analysis) tests with a tangible standard of 0,05. Study results showed no significant influence between respondents’ characteristic against level of satisfaction and interest for revisits. The variables that showed the presence of influence were Responsiveness, and Tangible with P-value of <0,05. In this study, level of satisfaction also held a significant relationship towards revisting interest with P-value of <0,05. Thus it is hoped that Duren Sawit district health centers maintain Dimensional Quality that as satisfactory increasing outpatient’s satisfaction and interest in returning to Duren Sawit district health centers for the year 2016. Tangible elements deemed to affect customer satisfaction, including a very important element, but management has not done in accordance with the wishes of the customer, so that was disappointing or not satisfied, that is considered as the main priority issues.

Abstract

Smoking behavior seen from different angles is very harmful, both for the individual and others in the vicinity. At the time of smoking person smokes more than 4000 harmful chemicals. The dangerous substances are nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide (CO), and other toxic chemicals. Diseases that can be caused by smoking is not just a minor ailments such as cough and shortness of breath, but also death. The research aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge, attitude and behavior of the occupants smoke Islam Student Dormitory Sunan Gunung Jati, East Jakarta. This research is analytic survey using cross sectional design with a sample of 81 people. The results using the chi square test found no significant relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable, so that no significant relationship between the characteristics of respondents (age, national origin, universities, faculty / study program, the length of stay at the hostel) as well as knowledge and attitudes against smoking behavior. Suggested for further research to be carried out interviews with respondents covered at the time of the study, so the bias is known more uncertain variables that influence smoking behavior of respondents.
