Abstract

The University is an institution of higher education and research that provides academic degrees in various fields. One of the vision and mission of Higher Education in the city of Batam is to become a leading tertiary institution and to carry out high quality education with the aim of producing quality graduates and competent human resources in their fields. One of the influencing factors is the lecturer performance. This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction that is influenced by lecturer performance in lectures with data mining techniques using the C4.5 algorithm where the variables used include reliability, responsiveness, appearance, empathy and assurance. The research objective is to predict the level of student satisfaction with the performance of University Lecturers in the city of Batam in the teaching and learning process. The benefit of this research is to find out the performance of a College Lecturer in order to produce quality teaching staff and quality education. Data Mining with C4.5 Algorithm, the process of classifying data and looking for patterns so as to produce interesting information in data in decision making. Based on the results of research conducted, the decision tree with manual calculation of the C4.5 algorithm is the same as the decision tree produced by Weka software with the resulting accuracy level of 94.12%. Then it can be concluded the prediction of student satisfaction on the lecturer performance is satisfied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide assistance to citizens in terms of correspondence between citizens and heads of citizens and discussion forums for citizens to interact with each other. Smart Cluster Bandung is an application that was created and developed by Universitas Komputer Indonesia students. Smart Cluster Bandung is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program as a form of the company's duties and responsibilities towards its social environment. In this case, the Bandung smart cluster makes the media to bridge between citizens and head of citizens. As well as a means of strengthening relations between citizens. Using this facility can be used as a place to stay in touch with local residents. In this study using a development system prototype. While the research method used is descriptive discussion by conducting interviews and observations. The results of this study provide positive results for residents in the cluster.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) used in online business not merely to give new perspective of customer experience to product. AR is also used in operational such as in logistic to deliver product to the customer. The online map service such as Google Map, sometime fails to bring real visualization to user, especially when they are in unfamiliar places. AR may provide visualization of certain location’s coordinate. This digital visual navigation will help the user to choose which direction they should go, especially when Google Maps do not give accurate information related to the user’s surrounding. This papper provide solution to create Android application that can generate Augmented Reality navigation while user is using Google Map to travel. This papper is aimed to support the navigation for logistic management system especially for online business companies. In spite of the result of this reasearch, some findings and issues need to be discussed in the future. There was delay to generate the AR objects especially when user moves the device around fast. A simple 2D AR object is suggested for future work in order to decrease the delay.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem informasi manajemen bertanam sayur berbasis web. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian dalam bentuk metode deskriptif yang menggambarkan masalah yang terjadi di lapangan sebagaimana adanya. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis melakukan penelitian lapangan dengan observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan dalam pengembangan sistem penulis menggunakan metode life cycle. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlunya sebuah sistem informasi yang menyajikan cara-cara yang baik dan benar untuk menanam sayuran. Kemudian penulis merancang sistem informasi manajemen menanam sayuran berbasis web, sistem ini setiap hari akan memberikan informasi tentang apa yang harus dilakukan dengan tanaman sayuran dari bibit hingga panen. Tidak berguna bagi petani sayuran saja, sistem ini juga berguna bagi orang yang tidak tahu cara menanam sayuran yang baik dan benar. Dengan demikian, produk sayuran di Indonesia bisa meningkat.

Abstract

Today the development of technology is growing very rapidly. The existence of the development of information technology is able to facilitate the activities in daily life. In every agency in general has applied information technology to help improve the performance of its activities. PT Asus Service Indonesia Batam is one company engaged in the field of electronic customer Service. The company only serves repair and component testing, such as motherboards on laptops and PCs as well as maintenance and development of electronic components. PT ASID still lacks responses about the complaints of its employees, such as limited requests for tools (tool) and some Service companies that are less adequate, resulting in hampering work processes and employee performance. To overcome this problem, the author designed a web-based m-Feedback application to facilitate employees in giving complaints and to find out how to implement m-Feedback application on PT Asus Service Indonesia Batam . The research method used is waterfall method consisting of needs analysis , design, coding, testing, and support or maintenance. The result of this research is web design m-Feedback application at PT Asus Service Indonesia Batam, where the application can facilitate the company in obtaining Feedback information provided by the employees quickly and accurately and facilitate the employees to deliver Feedback to the company.

Abstract

Science and technology are moving, developing in the business world and have significance to human life. This is done with the various facilities provided and provided by companies. One of the technologies used today in the music world is in musical instruments, where the author wants to use tutorial system using Chord on guitar instrument for beginner who want to learn to use guitar, so for beginners do not bother anymore to learn together and know the Chord on a guitar instrument, because the musical instruments that are already under the LED light on each fred guitar that is located under each strings of the guitar.

Abstract

Transaksi keuangan melalui digital payment di Indonesia tercatat mengalami kemajuan dan adanya pergeseran antara transaksi keuangan tunai, non-cash dan e-money. Dalam Penelitian ini akan dikaji bagaimana pergeseran model pembayaran oleh penjual dan pembeli dengan pembayaran yang berbasis digital payment seperti mobile payment, internet banking, elektronik, dan pembayaran digital berbasis aplikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik interview serta menggunaka questionnaire sebagai instrumen penelitian dalam mengumpulkan data primer dari seluruh responden. Metode analisis data adalah menggunakan metode perhitungan regresi linier sederhana dan alat pengolahan data menggunakan alat bantu berupa perangkat lunak berupa software spss. Hasil dari pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa pelaku usaha umkm di kota Batam telah menggunakan sistem pembayaran digital dimana gateway pembayaran yang banyak dilakukan adalah melalui mobile payment sebesar 80%, kemudian diikuti oleh internet banking payment, diikuti oleh pembayaran berbasis elektronik dan menggunakan sistem pembayaran berbasis aplikasi. Penggunaan sistem pembayaran digital ini juga telah dilakukan sejak 5 tahun terakhir ini dimana seluruh responden telah menggunakan minimal 1 tahun terakhir dan bahkan sudah 5 tahun terakhir sejak 2019. Data penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa variabel penelitian yang digunakan menjelaskan bahwa adanya saling hubungan yang saling mempengaruhi dan memberikan korelasi yang siginifikan. Seluruh hiptotesis yang ditetapkan pada penelitian ini juga diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa sistem pembayaran digital oleh pelaku usaha UMKM di kota Batam diterima.

Abstract

Perkembangan internet dan teknologi informasi saat ini sangat pesat, dimana telah membuat banyak perubahan bagi kehidupan manusia. Hal ini ditandai dengan perkembangan teknologi berbagai perangkat keras maupun lunak yang memberikan dampak yang cukup besar dalam hal penyajian informasi. Penyajian informasi menjadi lebih cepat, lebih tepat dan lebih akurat tanpa dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. semua kegiatan mengunakan komputer pada saat ini, terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet mulai kegiatan administrasi maupun kegiatan yang lainya. Tidak adanya pembagian bandwidth yang merata, banyak user yang terkoneksi dengan internet mendapatkan bandwith tidak beraturan sehingga menyebabkan koneksi menjadi lambat karena tidak mendapatkan bandwidth yang adil, sehingga mengganggu kegiatan user yang berhubungan dengan internet. Pfsense merupakan distro linux turunan free bsd, akan tetapi disesuaikan untuk digunakan sebagai firewall dan router. Selain itu menjadi platform yang kuat fleksibel firewall dan routing, termasuk ke dalam daftar fitur terkait dan sistem paket yang memungkinkan upgrade lebih lanjut tanpa menambahkan dan kerentanan keamanan potensial untuk distribusi dasar.

Abstract

Universitas Flores memanfaatkan fasilitas intranet untuk melaksanakan seluruh kegiatan baik dibidang pendidikan dan pengajaran, kegiatan administrasi akademik dan kemahasiswaan, maupun disemua bidang yang mendukung terlaksananya kegiatan  tridarma perguruan tinggi. Jaringan intranet yang ada di Universitas Flores mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun, dan di tahun 2018 Universitas Flores kembali meningkatkan layanan jaringan intranet menggunakan Cloud Router Switch dengan Virtual Local Area Network. Universitas Flores juga menyediakan layanan hotspot dan wifi di beberapa titik strategi untuk memudahkan seluruh kegiatan akademik. Metode yang digunakan metode action research dengan model sistem monitoring QoS. Software untuk menguji parameter QoS adalah Axence Nettools. Hasil pengolahan data ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel untuk memudahkan user dalam menganalisis. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kualitas layanan jaringan intranet di gedung rektorat merupakan kualitas layanan intranet terbaik dengan nilai throughput terbesar yaitu 80,006%, nilai Packet Loss 0% dan nilai Jitter 0%.

Abstract

Now SMS can be used for various applications, such as Mobile Banking, Interactive Pooling, and others. SMS is also very useful in the Bethany Kuala Kapuas church, one of which is used as a congregation counseling system. Because the counseling schedule between the counselor and the church is not yet efficient. So that the counselor is a little overwhelmed with this, so an application is needed to arrange the counseling schedule. The way the congregation sends an SMS application and later the counselor who serves as an admin (in office hours) will reply to the SMS which contains counseling schedules with the congregation. The SMS Gateway based Church Counseling Service application at Bethany Kuala Kapuas Church was made using Visual Studio 2010 and AT + Commands as a command language that can be read by a modem. With this application it is expected to facilitate the congregation in delivering their counseling, thus helping the counselors to monitor easily
