Abstract

Background: A developmental disorder that affects communication and behavior is known as Autism. The prevalence of autism is still increasing, ranging from 1-2/1000 in males more than in females (4:1). In children with autism, physical health problems are often complained of, one of which is sleep problems, such as delayed sleep onset, frequent awakenings at night, and sleep duration. This problem makes parents stressed because it impacts the severity of behavior both during the day and at night. Objectives: The description of sleep quality in children with autism. Methods: Cross-sectional approach to 55 special school students with autism in Cimahi. Data collection was collected by measuring sleep quality with the Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ) with a cut-off point of < 30 good sleep quality and > 30 sleep problems with Chronbach's alpha = 0.68 to 0.78. Content validity; ROC = 0.41, differentiating between clinical and control groups; sensitivity = 0.80, specificity = 0.72. Data analysis was carried out univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate with a chi-square test. Results: It was found that most of the children with moderate Autism had sleep problems (54.5%) p = 0.005. Conclusion: The study results describe that some children with autism in the city of Cimahi have sleep problems in conditions of delayed sleep onset and often wake up at night.

Abstract

Background: Every nurse who works in a hospital will face quite time-consuming and laborious work, especially when the bed occupancy rate (BOR) is 85%, and the work pressure of nurses is high. The effect of work stress manifests as physical fatigue, psychological changes, and behavioral changes. Nurses need to try to prevent work stress from happening for a long time by doing stress management, one of which is progressive muscle relaxation therapy. Objectives: The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy in reducing nurses’ work stress. Methods: The study was conducted on five resident nurses who were trained using Progressive Muscle Relaxation and then used the Nursing Stress Scale to measure stress levels before and after training. The research design was Quasi Experiment with One group pretest and post-test designs; data analysis with paired t-test. Results: The results showed that there was a significant effect of implementing progressive muscle relaxation therapy on reducing nurse work stress (p = 0.024; 95% CI). Conclusion: There is a significant effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on the work stress response of nurses. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy is good to apply to hospital nurses who go through work stress so that stress does not occur which can risk reducing the quality of service to patients.

Methods: This research is quantitative research with the type of observational description study with a cross-sectional approach. The instruments used were handover checklist sheets and knowledge questionnaire sheets. Results: Implementation of the SBAR technique handover on covid-19 patients at “B” hospital Jambi did not perform well with Situation points of 75.4%, from 7 checklist points it was known that nurses were able to mention the patient's name (100%), the day of treatment, and the treating doctor (95.5%), medical diagnosis (100%), and complaints. main patient (81.8%) with good category. The background point is 49.35%, and it is shown that nurses are less able to explain nursing interventions that have been carried out, the patient's allergy history, and the patient's disease history. Point Assessment is 30.3%, of the six highest checklist points, nurses who can mention the patient's vital signs (81.8%) and elimination abilities (95.5%) are in a good category. Point Recommendation (36.6%) of the three points of the nurse checklist provides recommendations for nursing interventions that have been and need to be continued (95.5%). This is supported by the results of the nurse's SBAR technique handover knowledge, namely 59.32% (Know enough). Conclusion: Based on the results of the research on the implementation of the weigh-in of Covid-19 patients at “B” hospital went poorly with the best aspect at the Situation point of 75.4%, supported by the knowledge of nurses about weighing and receiving, namely 59.32% which was included in the category of Sufficient Know

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between genetics, food allergies, and the environment with the incidence of atopic dermatitis in the working area of the Waai Health Center. Methods: The research design used was descriptive-analytical with a cross-sectional study approach. The population is all Elementary School 163 Central Maluku, Elementary School 224 Central Maluku, and Elementary School 25 Central Maluku which are in the working area of the Waai Health Center, there are 433 children. Sampling with accidental sampling technique. The sample in this study found 208 children. Results: The results obtained a significant relationship between genetics, food allergies, and environment with the incidence of atopic dermatitis with a value (p = 0.000). Conclusion: It is recommended for families to supervise and supervise children if there is a history of atopy in family members to reduce the risk factors for atopic dermatitis in children because this atopic dermatitis cannot be cured but its recurrence can be controlled.

Abstract

Background: Fatigue is one of the problems with a fairly high prevalence among the effects of hemodialysis which hurt the quality of life. Fatigue can be done with relaxation. Relaxation can be done with autogenic and deep breath relaxation. Objectives: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Autogenic Relaxation and Deep Breathing Relaxation on the Fatigue Value of Chronic Kidney Failure Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental two-group randomized pre-post test design. The sample in this study amounted to 40 respondents in total sampling. Bivariate analysis using independent t-test. Results: The results showed that there was no difference in the results between autogenic relaxation and deep breathing relaxation. Conclusion: Autogenic relaxation and deep breathing relaxation are equally effective in reducing fatigue in renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis.
