Abstract

Abstrak. Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) adalah salah satu metode interpolasi untuk menaksir suatu nilai pada lokasi yang tidak tersampel berdasarkan data disekitarnya. Metode ini sering digunakan dalam kegiatan eksplorasi karena dalam proses perhitungannya lebih sederhana dan mudah difahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan sebaran bijih limonit secara lateral dan potensi sumberdaya nikel, dengan menggunakan metode IDW untuk menaksir kadar Ni dan ketebalan zona mineralisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan data hasil pengebeboran prospeksi sebanyak 60 titik bor. Parameter power yang digunakan dalam proses interpolasi adalah 1, 2, 3, 4 dan 5. Untuk memilih nilai power yang terbaik digunakan parameter Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) yang diperoleh dari prosedur cross validation. Berdasarkan nilai RMSE terkecil diperoleh bahwa metode IDW dengan power 1 adalah yang terbaik. Dengan asumsi nilai cut-off grade adalah 1,2% Ni dan densitas limonit 1,6 ton/m³, hasil estimasi sumberdaya pada zona limonit adalah 151,7 juta ton bijih dengan kadar rata-rata 1,45% Ni atau setara dengan ± 2,2 juta ton logam nikel. Peta sebaran bijih menunjukkan bahwa potensi tambahan sumberdaya masih terbuka kearah selatan dan barat laut dari daerah penelitian.

Abstract

Fuselage is a structure of airplane as the location where the passengers and goods as well as to place the wing and other structures. Fuselage gets loading when the aircraft take off, flight maneuvers, landing and when at the ground. One is the pressure loading on the fuselage aircraft cabin. In continuous operation airplane due to cabin pressure damage such as cracks often occur in the fuselage. The use of skin doubler to handle cases mainly crack analysis is needed to see the effect doubler thickness and variations in fastener against the structure strength. In this study doubler skin structure modeling and analysis using software CATIA V5R21. Modeling structures made 4 types of structure to use variations of the number of fastener and three other structures to changes in the thickness of the doubler. The whole model is given tensile load and differential pressure. Use of doubler thicker in the repair structure will lower the stress that occurs at the doubler. The more number of rows of fastener used will decrease the stress on the fastener this happens to tensile load, but not effective enough for the load pressure differential. Modeling the structure is safe against tensile loading and internal pressure.

Abstract

Biogas is an alternative energy sources as a substitute for fossil fuels in household activities daily, but there are obstacles in the use of biogas, namely the difficulty of arranging a flame that is stable and fuel consumption relatively less efficient biogas. So it takes a design development system that will produce a burning stove produces biogas-fueled stove fits the purpose of research, on the other hand biogas stove should be simple, cheap production price, maximum efficiency and safe to use. Stages in the study include: desk assessment, creation of objective requirements desing, manufacture conceptual and basic design, manufacture real stove. As for knowing the performance of the stove carried ujji stove performance are: test flame stability and efficiency. The results showed that the efficiency of the biogas stove design results in only 31 percent higher than the efficiency of biogas stoves old design, while the fuel consumption of biogas stoves new design is 16 percent lower when compared with fuel consumption of biogas stoves old design. In terms of manufacture and ease of repair and maintenance of gas cookers new design is more easily repaired and easy to make and simple in form compared with the old design biogas stoves.

Abstract

Aircraft structures to be made stronger in order to be able to withstand the force received. The forces acting on the structure can cause deformation and result in structural failure. All components o f the structure o f the aircraft is an important part and it requires a good working resilience to maintain the security (safety). One important component of the aircraft that must be considered is the structure of the landing gear fittings. Fitting is contained in the structure that functions held their landing gear load received all the landing gear and as an intermediary for the landing gear and airframe structure of the aircraft. Because Landing Gear is one important component in the structure of the aircraft. Strength landing gear fittings will be calculated at the time of landing, the burden derived from the speed of the aircraft landing and aircraft load.

Abstract

The increasing of development in Yogyakarta City gives rise to controversy. Physical development-oriented activities tend to pursue economic benefits with less regard for social and environmental impacts. The purpose of this paper will describe the community's assessment of the impact of regional development on environmental, socio-cultural and economic aspects. This research uses quantitative descriptive approach as the method. The perception of negative impact from built-up area development to the environmental aspect was represented by 128 people (32,0%) while no negative impact perception was represented by 272 people (68%). The perception of negative impact from built-up area development to the socio-cultural aspect was stated by the 83 respondents (20.8%) and 317 respondents (79.2%) presented no negative impact. Meanwhile, in the economic aspect, the perception of negative impact from built-up area developmment was expressed by 147 respondents (36.8%) and 253 respondents (63.2%) presented no negative impact.

Abstract

The needs for andesite stone for development in Kulon Progo is increasing, so a new andesite reserve is needed. This study aims to map andesit distribution in 2-D or 3-D in the research area. The determination of andesite distribution is based on the difference between the andesite resistivity value and the surrounding rocks. Geologically, Mount Kalisonggo and Songgo River are included in the Old Andesite Formation with the appearance of the colummnar joint structure.Field data was collected using a Geolistrik method with dipole-dipole configuration of 5 paths. The resistivity data is processed and modeled 2D using Res2Dinv software, so that the andesite resistivity cross-section model is obtained. Andesite distribution after the 2-D or 3-D modeling obtained thickness varies between 5-17 meters.

Abstract

The process of selecting scholarship recipients is a process that must be carried out in the context of providing educational scholarships. For the Navy, education is a very important thing in an effort to increase capability and professionalism in running an organization. The provision of educational scholarships for Navy personnel, especially in the environment of professional informatics, is carried out through selection of candidates' criteria that have been registered. Scholarship recipient data is processed to find the order of the candidates who will be determined as scholarship recipients. Prospective recipient data is considered by looking at certain criteria. Each criterion has a different weight. Based on the weights of each criterion, we can get weights that can be sorted according to certain priorities. For decision makers, many factors influence in determining a decision, so by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method a sequence and grouping of prospective scholarship recipients can be generated from each method. Based on the calculation results, in the AHP data that was entered as many as 747 candidate data, in the initial selection process obtained as many as 107 candidate data whose profession is informatics. All candidate data can be sorted based on the calculation of the assessment of eight criteria and ranking, from rank 1 to ranking 107. For processing time, the AHP method requires a longer time, which is ± 3 minutes, weighting process ± 1 minute, and ranking process ± 1 minute. Whereas in the FCM method, with the same amount of data it takes around ± 5 minutes until the iteration is complete or until the difference in objective function is smaller than epsilon. For the grouping results, this FCM method found that 43 candidates (40.19%) were strongly recommended, 31 candidates (28.97%) were recommended, and 33 candidates (30.84%) were not advised to receive scholarships with cluster validation in this study was 0.604. Hope in the future can simplify the calculation process for ranking and grouping selection, because it is already a computer application that is easy to use, and is expected to accelerate the selection process.

Abstract

The existence o f fe e t as the part of the human body is very important to support the daily activities which is to support the body and to walk. The lost of the under knee part (amputation) is the dominant case of the total cases of amputation in Indonesia. So that we need a tool to restore the balance of the human body to be able to do our daily activity. The tool is called prostheses. The design and manufacture of prototypeshank prostheses under knee is intended for persons who have 162 cm height and 57 Kg of average weight. Prostheses are aimed to the persons who only lost one limb below the knee. In this design, the length of the shank can be set according to the length of leg amputated and is intended to persons who are still experiencing high growth (teenager). The material is stainless steel 316L. The shank has a length 200-300 mm, width 67 mm and 2 mm thick.

Abstract

The development of information technology and lead to intense competition in all areas, many parties began implementing a strategy to improve services. Information obtained from various sources such as the Internet can make it easier to determine the state o f a place or vehicle that will be addressed, but a lot of information from various sources, it only displays a static image that is not enough to describe the situation as a whole as well as the environment, it is necessary for the proper media fo r representing the information. One type of appropriate multimedia effective dam to provide information or a description of the location of these is to use virtual panoramic view. Not like a video that is merely one direction (forward grooved) virtual panoramic view is designed to allow the user to interact directly with the environment to crawl closer and more interactive. Final results from this aplication is a multimedia display that can be applied in any kind o f media because using ActionScript for basic program so that it can be applied via online websites or interactive CDs or display advertising.

Abstract

This research examined the effect of air velocity and the efficiency of double-pass flat plate solar air heater with two glass covers on the performance of solar desalination unit based on heat pump with using humidification and dehumidification processes. This unit consists of a heat pump, humidifier, dehumidifier, and double-pass flat plate solar air heater with two glass covers. The research was conducted in an indoor experiment. Solar energy generated from solar simulator using halogen lamps. In this research the air flow rate was varied at 3 metres per second, 4 metres per second, 5 metres per second, and 6 metres per second, while the intensity of solar radiation at 828 Watts per meter squared. At each variation in air velocity, sea water temperature was conditioned at a constant temperature of 45 degrees celcius, the compressor was operated at a constant rotation of 900 rpm, volumetric flow rate of sea water inlet 300 liters per hour into humidifier and sea water in this system was re-circulated. The research result showed that the volume of fresh water production increases with increasing air velocity inlet into humidifier. This solar desalination unit could produce fresh water maximum 2470 milliliters per hour in air velocity 6 metres per second.
