Abstract

Image segmentation is a concept that is often used for object detection. This detection has difficulty detecting objects with backgrounds that have many colors and even have a color similar to the object being detected. This study aims to detect fish using segmentation, namely segmenting fish images using k-means clustering. The segmentation process is processed by improving the image first. The initial process is preprocessing to improve the image. Preprocessing is done twice, before segmentation using k-means and after. Preprocessing stage 1 using resize and reshape. Whereas after k-means is the contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization. Preprocessing results are segmented using k-means clustering. The K-means concept classifies images using segments between the object and the background (using k = 8). The final step is the morphological process with open and close operations to obtain fish contours using black and white images based on grayscale images from color images. Based on the experimental results, the process can run well, with the ssim value close to 1, which means that image information does not change. Processed objects provide a clear picture of fish objects so that this k-means segmentation can help detect fish objects.

Abstract

Much of the latest information is spread through web news portals and has the difficulty of finding a desired content. It takes time to browse through many portals and identify the desired content. To track any updates from a web portal can be used Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technique. By using the technique of syndication it can be made a search engine that allows to bring the desired content from the number of news web portals. Implementation of AJAX-SOAP web service will make the resulting search engine responsive and have good interoperability.

Abstract

Bisma Informatika is one of the educational institutions with Diploma education level in Denpasar that serves certification services for people who want to take certification expertise, especially those engaged in Information and Computer Technology. In order to serve optimally, Bisma Informatika applies registration which can be done by the computerized system so that the participant's data can be stored properly. After observing the use of the system at the time of participant registration, an initial conclusion can be drawn that many data fields cannot be understood by the user so they must ask the officer on duty. The data fields in question such as the choice of certification class are not clear because it does not include the implementation time, the unaccompanied participants who come from the common line (so can not include the student identification numbers), telephone numbers that cannot be entered if they exceed the capacity of the permitted number, and inconsistent field filling instructions. This shows that the usability aspect of the registration system is not being considered properly. This study evaluates the interface design and features of the Bisma Informatika certification registration system by considering the context and user needs. In an effort to find out the context and user needs, a Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) questionnaire was used. The results of the WEBUSE questionnaire showed that the four categories which have a good usability level, only content, organization and readability categories are obtained.

Abstract

Transportation has become a human need today, one of which is air transportation, namely airplanes. In order for the aircraft to be used properly and comfortably, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance, especially before flying. Problems caused by aircraft engines are sometimes small problems that do not require a high level of knowledge. To overcome this, maybe someone who has very basic knowledge of aircraft engines can do it. But sometimes these problems also require a high level of expertise regarding these components so that they require technicians or experts to repair them. Through this application, users can consult the system such as consulting with experts to find out the symptoms that occur on the plane and find solutions to the problems encountered. The expert system built using the Hill Climbing Heuristic method resulted in 72.67% when tested on respondents.

Abstract

Samosir regency is a from North Sumatera province which dominantly people is live on agriculture. The most of the farmers using autodidact learning to determining the types of plants that will be process the appropriate with their land, where farmers just learn from their experiences and exchange opinion with another farmers. Based of the problem, the system will be built by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Genetic Algorithm. The result of the testing from method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) obtained result with consistency ratio values < 0,1, which is -0,5936 while the result of the testing from Genetic Algorithm obtained value of the fitness is 157,25. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) obtained the result more consistent with the value of consistency ratio should be < 0,1, so it will be easier to making decision, while on the analysis of Genetic Algorithm, obtained result are probabilistic as always having random process, so that decision making can not be consistent. So, Decision Support System to determination of plants based by contents of soil which are good and suitable is method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).

Abstract

A comic has its own characteristics compared the other types of books. The difference between comic and other books can be seen from the category o f period, material and physical. Comicand other booksneeded an application o f classification system. Looking for the problem, classification system was made using Chi Square Feature Selection and Naive Bayes algorithm to determine the comic based on the period, material and physical. Delphi programming language and Oracle Database are used to build the Classification System. Chi Square Feature Selection acquired trait a comic is in 0.10347 and which not comic is in 1.9531. Furthermore, data is classified by the Naive Bayes algorithm. From 120 titles o f comic that consists 60 titles o f comic and non comicused to build classesfor trainand 60 titles o f comic and non comic used to test. The results o f Naive Bayesalgorithm for comic is 96,67%with 3.33% error rate, and non comic is 90% with 10% error rate. The classification to determine comic is good.

Abstract

One of the development of computer technology is the availability of systems or applications that help human work everyday so that can be resolved quickly and correctly. The system, one of which is Computer Based Test (CBT). CBT is an application used for tests conducted using computers that are in the application there are some features of CBT security when working on the problem. CBT can use a stand-alone computer, a computer connected to a network or a computer connected to the internet. Facial recognition is a type of biometric application that can identify specific individuals in a digital image by analyzing and developing face patterns. In its implementation, CBT has a weakness in the security system that becomes the gap of CBT users to commit fraud, therefore required a good security system with the creation of CBT applications that use eigenface algorithm. It is necessary to have a security system that overcomes the problem that is required identification of face recognition of participants during the test so that cheating can be reduced. The results of the test using eigenface algorithm accuracy rate reached 82%, some things that affect the level of accuracy is, the intensity of light, facial position and the use of accessories on the face.

Abstract

Since the smartphone android as open technology was found, the Users can take some advantages from Google’s map service which is exist in the application to build the applications service. API direction can using HTTP to determine the location of the inter-view destination, mileage and road routes that can be passed either as a text string or as a latitude or longitude that can be implemented through a Google map.By using this direction google map service, API, can be used this service to create a searching application service to search the houses of worship. Besides used  for knowing generally the houses of worship that exist around the Yogyakarta city, the determination of the shortest path is needed because in this life people often travel from one place to another by considering the efficiency of time, mileage and expenses.Searching service of the houses of worship is existed in the application, it can be tested in various service providers through the internet and GPS signal strength which is optimal enough to obtain the shortest distance with the direction on the map and with a percentage accuracy of the average distance between Google on the map with the actual distance of 99%.

Abstract

Wi-Fi waves are commonly used as an intermediary in the communication relationships in the wireless network. However, the use o f Wi-Fi waves can be used in addition to getting the relationship in the network, the user is also able to detect and identify other devices by using Wi-Fi waves. Ad-hoc network is a network that can be built independently by the computer with the Microsoft Windows operating system, to enable ad-hoc device has to have an identity that is SSID, the SSID is then activate the device can be detected by other devices. Activation is done ad-hoc by the netsh command is a shell command in the Windows 7 operating system. An ID must be unique for each device as there is no dual identity, to maximize the identification process. Utilizing MAC address as an identity is used, allowing the device to be uniquely identified. In addition to the MAC address is added to the device profile in the identity o f the device for easier identification. Sapa application users can identify the device is detected, and recognize it as a co-owned devices. Scheme which is the concept o f the algorithm Sapa. Sapa application allows device activation or notebook PC with the Windows 7 operating system to be detected and detected by other devices with the Windows 7 operating system and applications are also active Sapa. Communication is established indirect communication that occurs in a single direction. Detection range can be done up to 77 meters distance.

Abstract

In managing a server, an administrator takes a variety of ways for ensuring the safety and cosiness of the system. One type of threat that attack on the server is done on a port that is in an open state, thus making people who do not have access rights to perform port scanning to infiltrate into the server. One solution to cope with the attack on the port can be done by using port knocking. Port knocking is a method that can be applied to the server with the workings of such a code to unlock the safe. Port knocking is done by inserting a predetermined port sequenced to open a specific port. At the port sequenced delivery process takes an additional authentication likes keyport. Anggi algorithm (AA) is an algorithm that is built by combination o f Diffie-Hellman and RC4. The algorithm is used for encryption and descriptions a keyport from client side to the server side. In the process of sending a keyport to be modified by using the arithmetic calculation. Process of encryption and description keyport is done to prevent some attacks on the server by hackers with extracting such information after successfully breaking into a port. The results o f implementation AA algorithm on the process of port knocking can secure the delivery process o f keyport and improve the security o f server.
