Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas Bahan Ajar Geometri berbasis RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) di STKIP Tapanuli Sealatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan modifikasi antara Model pengembangan  4-D. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Ujicoba dilakukan pada mahasiswa  semester III Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Tapanuli Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Validitas Bahan Ajar geometri berbasis RME semester III Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Tapanuli Selatan adalah sangat valid; 2) Kepraktisan Bahan Ajar geometri berbasis RME semester III Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Tapanuli Selatan adalah praktis digunakan. 3) Bahan ajar geometri berbasis RME semester III Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Tapanuli Selatan efektif digunakan. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik mahasiswa setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Bahan Ajar ini tuntas karena  80%  dari subjek uji coba memenuhi ketuntasan belajar dengan rata-rata skor lebih dari KKM 75 serta adanya aktivitas yang positif dari mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul kingdom animalia berbasis mind map yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk SMA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Pada tahap define dilakukan analisis kurikulum, materi, dan karakteristik siswa. Pada tahap design dilakukan perancangan modul. Pada tahap develop dilakukan uji validitas dan praktikalitas modul. Pada tahap disseminate dilakukan uji efektifitas. Modul yang sudah dirancang divalidasi oleh 5 orang validator. Setelah modul valid, modul diuji praktikalitasnya oleh guru dan siswa SMA kelas X. Uji efektivitas dilakukan untuk mengetahui motivasi, aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Data efektivitas dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi, lembar observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini diperoleh modul kingdom animalia berbasis mind map untuk SMA. Modul yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi aspek validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas. Nilai aspek validitas modul 91,0% kategori sangat valid, praktikalitas oleh guru 92,8% kategori sangat praktis, praktikalitas oleh siswa kategori 89,8% kategori sangat praktis, motivasi belajar 88,4% kategori motivasi sangat tinggi, aktivitas belajar 88,7% kategori sangat efektif, dan hasil belajar siswa rata-rata 81,2 kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut berarti modul yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to increase the student’s learning outcomes by implementation of questioning skill using guiding and exploring technique of student’s ability in Human Activities and Environment Problem Grade X Barumun Tengah. The research method was descriptive by direct observation to teacher (researcher) and student’s observation. The research implementation was conducted by subject teacher where the type of the research was Class Action Research (PTK). The population of this research was the entire students Grade X consisted of two classes totalling 58 students.The sampling method was random sampling. The used instruments was test in the problem form of Human Activities and Environment Problem subject matter. The indicator of research success were the average value and mastery learning of students. The student’s learning outcomes in cyclus I was 75.9 and the deviation standard was 10.47, the learning outcomes in cyclus II was 76.5 and the deviation standard was 9.3 and the learning outcomes in cyclus III was 84.6 and the deviation standard was 11.7. The student’s mastery learning in cyclus I was 80.7% while 19.3% unfinished, the learning mastery in cyclus II was 88.5% while 11.5% unfinished, the learning mastery in cyclus III was 92.3% while 7.7% unfinished. Based on the research result can be concluded that learning by Implementation of Questioning Skill using Guiding and Exploring Technique of Student’s Ability in Human Activities and Environment Problem Grade X Barumun Tengah can increase the Student’s Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This reasearch was aimed to know The Effectiveness of Learning by Using Description, Interpretation, and Evaluation Learning Technique in Excretion Syystem in Humans Subject Matter of Student in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah. This research was conducted in May to July 2016 in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah. The population in this research was all students class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah totalling 68 students which was consisted of two classes, XI1 and XI2.  The sample in this research was one class totalling 35 students.The technique sampling was random sampling. The observation was conducted to 35 students by using multiple choice test totalling 25 items.The success indicator of this reasearch were: the average value of learning outcomes, learning mastery, and the mastery of indicator achievement. The research result showed that the average value of student’s learning outcomes which was taught by description, interpretation, and evaluation learning technique was 7.6 (good category) where the standard deviation was 15.5. Student’s learning mastery in The Excretion System in Humans subject matter in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah was 91.42% while 8.58% has not achieve the learning mastery. Based on the research result concluded that Biology Learning in Excretion System in Humans Subject Matter in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah by Using Description, Interpretation, and Evaluation Learning Technique was very effective.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model by experiment method on science process skill of students in ecology of animal subject matter. The population in this research was all students in semester V STKIP Tapanuli Selatan which was consisted of two classes, they were class VA and class VB. The sample in this research was all students in semester V, they were class VA and class VB. The research type was quasi experiment using the totalling sampling method. The data obtaining used the instrument of science process skill. The data analysis used t-test, obtained tcount= 8.05 while ttable= 1.67 (in significant degree α = 0.05). This resut meant that tcount> ttable  hence the H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. Therefore, there was the significant effect in using Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) by using experiment method on science process skill of students in ecology of animal subject matter.

Abstract

Availability of seeds is one of the critical success factors of increasing the productivity of rubber plantations, the empirical use of seeds as one component technology has made a great contribution in increasing the productivity of rubber plantations. To obtain plant materials of good quality, it is worth noting the procurement process as well as the quality standards of seeds produced, if all quality standards at every election seedlings to be planted, it is certain that the results will be planted in accordance with what had been planned as long as it is balanced with proper maintenance based technical. Artificial Neural Networks can be used to obtain information about the quality of rubber seedlings by using Backpropagation, observations and measurements of rubber seed 51 seeds were used as a sample, of 50 rubber seed of the 35 samples used as training data and 16 samples as test data, observations done by looking at the characteristics of rubber seed color, reflectivity, results marinade, long beans, broad beans and thick seeds. From the results of the training conducted by Artificial Neural Networks as many as 35 sample data by using architecture patterns 6 15 1 obtained accuracy rate of 94.29%, which means that the artificial neural network has been able to identify the quality of the rubber plant seeds, to prove the results of the training testing using a sample of 16 pieces of new data that has not been trained before, the test results showed the accuracy rate of 100%, of the test results can be concluded that the application of Artificial Neural Networks to identify quality rubber seedlings with architectural 6 15 1 more accurate compared to other architectures

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa di SD Swasta Perguruan Sariputra disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Pemecahan Masalah Model Polya di SD Swasta Perguruan Sariputra. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V, yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen  penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi kegiatan guru, lembar observasi kreativitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas belajar siswa diperoleh rata-rata persentase yaitu pada siklus I dari 46,87% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 84,58% Disamping itu, rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siklus I sebesar 65,83% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 82,16% peningkatan siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 16,33%. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Pemecahan Masalah Model Polya dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V  pada pembelajaran matematika SD Swasta Perguruan Sariputra Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

The objective of this research entitled The Problems of 3 Years Old Children in Pronouncing Consonant was todescribe the phonological process of an infant and to describe the reason why he produces [ r ] sound becomes [ l ] sound.This research applied the descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research is a child in three years old, namelyDamar.In collecting data, Damar is asked to pronounce some words which contain “r” in it. After he pronounced thewords, the researcher recorded it and transcripted it. The results of this research showed that A child is not born being ableto produce all the sounds and sound patterns of his/her language. As a child is learning how to speak English, he willsimplify sounds and sound patterns. For this research, Damar has disorder in producing the sound. And the sounds deviateto the other sounds which are produced in the same area, that is “r” and “l.”

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to find out whether there is away significant effect of plusminus interesting method on students’ achievement in writing analytical exposition text at theeleventh grade of students SMK Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. This research was conducted by usingexperimental method is one group pretest-posttest design.The population of this research is all of theeleventh grade students technique computer of SMK Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan that consist of 71students. Then, the sample was taken from the population by cluster sampling technique, thetechnique for collecting data is by observation sheet and giving essay test and the total sample is 34students.After calculating the data experiment analysis, it was found that the mean score of studentswriting analytical exposition before taught by using plus minus interesting method is 60,75, it iscategorized “Fair”, while the mean score of students writing analytical exposition after taught byusing plus minus interesting method is 80, it is categorized “Excellent”.The alternative hypothesiscan be accepted. Wherre the result of hyphotesis test shows that t test is 10,83, while the samples are34 students or N = 34 students. The degree of freedom (df) is N- 1 =34-1 = 33. The score df of t tableat 5% significant level from 33 is 2,03. So, from the based on the explanation above t test is higherthan t table (t test > t table= 10,83 > 2,03). It can be concluded that is a significant effect of PMI Methodon students’ achievement in writing analytical exposition text at the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri1 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: 1) To what extent is the application of visual media on students’ writing procedure text a study at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun. 2) To what extent  is the  students’ writing mastery of procedure text before and after using visual media a study at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun. 3) Whether there is significant effect of visual media on students’ writing mastery of procedure text a study at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun. In order to achieve the purpose of the research, the writer carried the quantitative approach by applying experimental research method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The population was all of the tenth grade students consist of 187 students. The writer used cluster sampling technique to get the sample consists of 30 students. The data was collected by using instrument namely observation sheet and essay test. In this research, the writer used observation sheet about the application of visual media on students’ writing procedure text, the mean score 3.2, and it was categorized “good”. And then the writer used ttest in pre-test and post-test design formula. After calculating data, it was found that the mean score of students in pre-test was 59 and it is categorized “bad”. While the mean score of students in post-test is 74 and it was categorized “good”.  The result of  ttest bigger than ttable (10.63>2.05). It means that the hypothesis is accepted. It means, there is a significant effect of visual media on students’ writing mastery of procedure text at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun.
