Abstract

This program activity was using a counseling method that aimed was provided education or information about adolescent reproductive health and the risk of it. The media has used a combination of the poster, leaflet, and apron of reproductive organs. This counseling was conducted among 18 adolescents in RW 07 Cipayung Village, Depok. The result of this counseling was an increase in the average score of knowledge before and after counseling by 22.8% (an increase in the average score from 7.1 to 8.9). Statistical results using the Wilcoxon test show that the combination of the three media counseling also affects changes in the average score of adolescent knowledge on reproductive health. Suggestions to further increase the knowledge of participants, the poster media used for counseling is in larger paper size, so that it can be seen more clearly by all participants

Abstract

The purpose of providing health counseling related to hypertension and blood pressure measurement training to pkk mother cadres during the pandemic is expected to increase their knowledge about hypertension disease and its prevention so that it can be applied to the family as well as to the community and can conduct independent blood pressure checks to other family members. This activity was carried out twice, namely in August and September 2020, to the Cadre of PKK Mother Semanding Hamlet, Sumber Sekar Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, a total of 27 people. The first activity in the form of health counseling is carried out by lecture methods and media in power points and leaflets. The materials provided are related to understanding clinical symptoms, complications, risk factors, prevention, a hypertensive diet with a DASH diet. or blood pressure training by simulation method and self-practice. The second activity is a blood pressure test of participants and TABATA gymnastics. Evaluation of this activity is done by analyzing participants' pretest and post-test values before and after counseling. The evaluation results obtained, there is a change in the level of knowledge of participants related to hypertensive disease and its prevention. This can be seen from the increase in posttest value and the decrease in standard deviation after counseling. In addition, the signification value of <0,000 indicates that this counseling is effective in increasing knowledge for PKK cadres.

Abstract

Social media is an inseparable aspect of young generations who are considered digital natives or individuals who live in the middle of the digital era. Moreover, the use of social media becomes a significant activity for young generations to create content, communicate, and explore information in real-time without physical, geographical, and temporal borders. Despite this, the massive use of social media by young generations, including senior high school students, is not always in accordance with the level of digital literacy and communication ethics in social media. This phenomenon eventually leads to some adverse drawbacks. Based on these statements, therefore, this community empowerment program aims to provide an understanding of digital literacy and to explore the problems and opportunities in using social media for senior high school students in Indonesia. There were around 474 participants who were involved in this community empowerment program, including the students of SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso, SMA YPPK Agustinus Kota Sorong, and the International Relations study program President University. The result from a survey revealed that the majority of participants had experienced problems in using social media, including addiction, cybercrime, cyberbullying, exposure to adult content, and many others. Some recommendations and suggestions for relevant programs in the future are also outlined in this paper to improve students' digital literacy and communication ethics in social media.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to detect and overcome the risk of perinatal depression. The methods used are 1) Detection of the risk of perinatal depression with the Suryani maternal blues scale, 2) Dissemination of the problems found 3) Health promotion for pregnant and postnatal periods to recognize the risk of depression in pregnant and postpartum women, the impact of depression on pregnant women and postpartum as well as preventive and promotive efforts. Location RW 08 Kelurahan Ragunan Kec. South Jakarta Sunday Market. Implementation time from June to September 2021. The results of community service activities obtained that the risk of depression in pregnant women was mostly primiparous at 63.6% with a first trimester gestational age of 80%. The risk of postpartum blues is 28.6 in late teens. There is no significant relationship between the factors of age, gestational age and postpartum with the source of support for the incidence of depression risk of pregnancy and postpartum. Preventive and promotive efforts with participants' health promotion actions were given pretest and posttest, obtained significant results between pre and posttest. The results obtained illustrate that the psychological condition of the mother during the perinatal period is at risk for depression and postpartum blues. However, this condition is strongly supported by the existence of sources of support, information obtained by mothers during pregnancy and after childbirth. One of the factors that can maintain the mother's emotional and mental condition remains good. So as not to damage the bonding relationship between mother and baby.

Abstract

Abstrak. Desa Bogo sendiri sejak tahun 2018 telah dirintis untuk menjadi desa Sentra Kelor. Gubuk Kelor Tunjungwati (GKT) berdiri pada awal tahun 2020, dan merupakan unit usaha di bawah Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) “Langgeng Makmur” Desa Bogo. GKT sendiri dilengkapi dengan beberapa fasilitas diantaranya toilet, mushola dan wahana permainan tradisional yang terletak di lahan kosong di belakang GKT. Lahan kosong tersebut kemudian dikembangkan menjadi “Taman Dolanan”. “Taman Dolanan” akan difungsikan sebagai tempat outbound, hal ini karena di sekitar desa Bogo dan Kecamatan Kapas masih terbatas tempat yang menyedikan fasilitas outbound. Metode yang digunakan adalah diskusi bersama (brainstorming) dalam menentukan paket-paket outbound yang akan ditawarkan. Metode pendampingan melalui peran aktif sebagai fasilitator juga diterapkan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Dari kegiatan ini dihasilkan flyer paket outbound dengan harga yang sangat terjangkau (Rp. 10.000 - Rp. 30.000)_. Selama bulan September-Oktober ada 6 (organisasi dan sekolah) yang telah melaksanakan kegiatan outbound di “Taman Dolanan”. Total sudah 500 pengunjung selama kurun waktu 2 bulan. Pendapatan GKT dari optimalisasi “Taman Dolanan” naik signifikan sekitar 7.500.000-10.000.000/ bulan. Dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh Tim WIRADESA Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Surabaya dapat disimpulkan bahwa paket outbound sebagai inovasi dari optimalisasi “Taman Dolanan” milik GKT memberikan dampak positif dilihat dari peningkatan pendapatan GKT. Dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat disarankan agar ide-ide kreatif dan inovatif perlu terus dicari sebagai upaya untuk bertahan di era pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this service program is to improve skills and productivity. economical partner. The method used is through mentoring and training programs by academics from the University of Surabaya related to halal certification, analysis of honey content for quality control and improvement of the packaging process to improve the hygiene of honey products. From the results of this community service program, Partners succeeded in obtaining LPPOM MUI halal certificates for Honey products, analysis of water content, metals, ash, microbial contamination, diastase enzymes, and Hydroxymethyl Furfural (HMF) by SNI 8664-2018, and the honey packaging process through the application of appropriate technology to maintain the hygiene and quality of honey.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the understanding of BK Teachers in utilizing the Canva Application in making Guidance and Counseling Service Media in the form of Guidance Brochure media, Percentage Media for classical services, 3D Posters using video and audio services, activity flyers. The methods used are: lectures, practice, question and answer, and assistance in making media done online, and. The materials provided are Media in Counseling Services and Types of Media in Counseling Services, IT-Based Media in Counseling Services, introduction to Canva Application Media and continued Practice using Canva Application media accompanied by a PKM team Such as making brochures, counseling posters, online guidance boards, posters Multimedia services use animated audio and video, creating percentage media for classical services. The results of the PKM are (1) the results of the training 96% of participants stated that this training provided enormous benefits in guidance and counseling services and various service media were available that could be used in Guidance and Counseling activities. (2) After the training, there is an increase in the manufacture of guidance and counselling service media through the use of the Canva application. There are 41 people or 91% of participants who are very capable of using the Canva application. This shows that this training has a very big influence in making media that can be used in services

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to help the community by conducting training on Coconut Utilization as a medium for Rural Community Innovation. The training was attended by 30 participants obtained from the local community. The training was carried out in two stages, namely: 1) learning and monitoring process, 2) integrated head processing training. In the implementation of the training there were four activities, namely: 1) coconut oil processing unit, 2) shell making, 3) coir fiber fiber processing and 4) coconut juice processing.

Abstract

Revolusi industry 4.0 pada masa sekarang ini sangat berpengaruh di segala aspek termasuk pada pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi dan digital yang begitu pesat harus dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang termasuk bidang pendidikan. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi hal yang sangat diperlukan bagi guru. Masih terbatasnya media menjadi latar belakang dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran ANCERMAT (antologi cerita matematika) berbasis digital. ANCERMAT sebagai media pembelajaran yang membantu siswa terkait kemampuan pemecagan masalah matematika. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 1)memberikan pengetahuan tentang kemampuan problem solving matematika siswa Sekolah Dasar, 2) melatih penggunaan media pembelajaran Ancermat (antologi cerita matematika) berbasis digital, dan 3) melaksanakan pendampingan kelompok guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan problem solving matematika siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui media pembelajaran Ancermat (antologi cerita matematika) berbasis digital. Pengabdian masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan ANCERMAT dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi, pelatihan, small group discussion, dan tutorial saat pendampingan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dalam serangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi observasi awal, koordinasi pelaksanaan pengabdian, koordinasi pelaksanaan pelatihan dan Pelaksanaan Sosialisasi serta pelaksanaan pelatihan. Pengabdian masayarakat dilaksanakan di SD NU Nawa Kartika dengan alamat Desa Langgar Dalem Kabupaten Kudus Jawa Tengah. Pengabdian berupa pendampingan belajar kelompok Guru melalui Media Pembelajaran ANCERMAT (antologi cerita matematika) Berbasis Digital dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan problem solving matematika siswa di Sekolah Dasar.
