Abstract

Academic data contains complex patterns that require appropriate clustering approaches to support informed educational decision-making. However, comparative studies that regularly evaluate various clustering methods for student academic performance, using diverse public data sets and consistent evaluation criteria, are limited. This study aims to identify the most effective clustering algorithm for modeling student academic performance by comparing three techniques: K-Means, GMM, and BIRCH, on two publicly available datasets: the Student Performance Metrics (SPM) Dataset with 16 features and 493 instances, and the Higher Education Students Performance Evaluation (HESPE) dataset with 32 features and 145 instances. Algorithm evaluation was performed using Sum of Squared Errors (SSE), Davies–Bouldin Index (DBI), Silhouette Score, and computational time. The results show that K-Means consistently provides superior clustering quality on both datasets, outperforming the other algorithms in four evaluation criteria, while BIRCH demonstrates superiority in two metrics and achieves the shortest computational time. These findings highlight that clustering effectiveness is strongly influenced by algorithm characteristics and data structure, with K-Means being more suitable for accuracy-oriented clustering and BIRCH for time-critical applications. Overall, this study contributes to educational data mining by providing comparative evidence on algorithm performance and demonstrating how methodological choices influence the interpretation of student performance patterns. In practice, institutions can choose clustering methods that best suit their needs, such as K-Means for precise academic profiling or BIRCH for rapid, large scale analysis, to help students graduate successfully.

Abstract

In process of implementation information technology and communication, every organization are demanded to produce information technology and communication product that aligned with the perpose of organization. Therefor every organization not only arrange plan of business strategic, but then every organization must arrange plan of IS/IT strategic that appropriate with plan of business strategic organization. This research aims to arrange plan of IS/IT strategic for STMIK Bumigora Mataram. Methods are used in this study is the method of Ward & Peppard. The resulted of this research are strategic plan of IT/IS of STMIK Bumigora Mataram that aligned with its strategic plan. In addition, this research also provides the policy of strategic management IT/SI and the schedule of implementation the IS/IT strategic plan for STMIK Bumigora Mataram.

Abstract

E-learning is a learning method that using electronic media as teaching materials to students. The definition of E-learning is very wide, which by terminology associated with online learning. Elearning in Bina Nusantara University is an E-learning which is done by online learning named as Binus Online Learning. Binus Online Learning applying the blended learning as a combination of online learning and face-to-face learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of E-learning system and learning habits towards the online and regular students of MMSI and MTI major. Data were taken from 210 respondents of regular and online active student of Bina Nusantara University, and analyzed with the Pearson product moment parametric correlation using SPSS 21 as tools. Further research was conducted to compare the competence between regular and online class based on MMSI and MTI major using cross tabulation and one way ANOVA to significant difference test.

Abstract

Technology can help Service Provider Company in its business process. This needs due to its difficulties to record its order transactions.Online reservation is hoped to help in recording customer service order. Long and difficult service order transaction will cause pending customer service order. Furthermore, it will decrease the number of served customers. This problem leads the help of online booking system. CV Kurniatama as a Air Conditioner service provider, needs this system to help customer book and reserved online. This system also will record the transactions. This system can be accessed everywhere and everytime. This system will give some limitations to techician in order to serve the customers. By implementing web based system, it can shorten the order process time. This system will bring excellence customer service. By implementing this system, CV Kurniatama will increase its services to customer. Besides, customers also has high flexibility to order. Online reservation will help customer to make customer more comfortable and bring service excellence to the customer. This system also will bring some changes in CV Kurniatama business process.

Abstract

In many ways android programming that can be used to achieve an outcome. One of them is to make a list. In making the list are many methods that can be used, among other things create a model, or create their own adapter. In the paper that I made this time will be discussed making a list by using hashmap. Hashmap is an abstract form of a key and value, of the key and value are provided can be matched in a list.Metode to be compared is to use the model. The result is a list that is similar, but with the use of the code more minimalist and lighter in memory usage. Hashmap the use of more flexible, because it does not need to create a model and a new class, or a new adapter.

Abstract

TIK salah satu penentu keberhasilan sebuah organisasi dalam mencapai visi dan misinya. Terpilihnya pemimpin yang baru, terbentuknya SKPD baru dengan visi misi baru sehingga master plan yang lama di anggap sudah tidak relevan lagi, sehingga persoalan yang muncul diselesaikan dengan cara reaktif dan memungkinkan persoalan yang sama akan muncul kembali pada masa yang akan datang. Arsitektur enterprise adalah cara untuk membangun arsitektur TIK dari sebuah organisasi yang berfokus pada arsitektur bisnis, arsitektur data, arsitektur aplikasi dan arsitektur teknologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Enterprise Architecture TOGAF ADM sebagai kerangka acuan untuk perencanaan strategis TIK Pemerintahan Kota Mataram. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah responden yang memiliki kewenangan dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait TIK dan pengguna TIK di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO). Kebutuhan bisnis yang terdiri dari Arsitektur Data, Aplikasi dan Teknologi diidentifikasi dan diusulkan untuk mendukung aktivitas bisnis demi pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan menganalisa penggunaan penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi(TIK) Seperti Sumber daya Manusia yang terlibat, kebutuhan aplikasi dan infrastruktur jaringan komputer dalam untuk mendukung proses bisnis dalam pelaksanaan roda pemerintahan Kota Mataram, dengan menggunakan metode scorecard uji kelayakan dengan rata-rata perolehan 76%.

Abstract

Technology VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows everyone to be able to access the local network from outside by using the internet. Through the VPN, the user can access the resources within the local network, gain rights and settings are the same as physically being in a place where the local network is located. Data security and secrecy of data transmission from unauthorized access in transmission on the Internet becomes the main standard in the VPN, so that the VPN is always included will be the main feature is the encryption and tunneling.

Abstract

STMIK Bumigora is the first computer college in the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). There are 11 hotspots spread across the campus to provide Internet services through a wireless connection for the academic community. The increasing number of hotspots that must be managed with locations scattered in various Mikrotik routers hence make the process of management and monitoring hotspots become complex, ineffective and efficient. Centralized campus hotspot management using a transparent bridge EoIP over SSTP can help solve the problems at hand. Ethernet over IP (EoIP) Tunneling is a Mikrotik RouterOS protocol that creates an Ethernet tunnel between routers over IP connections. EoIP tunnel built on SSTP tunnel (EoIP over SSTP) with Site-to-Site type. SSTP is a new form of Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunnel that provides a mechanism for encapsulating Point-toPoint Protocol (PPP) traffic through the SSL path of the HTTPS protocol. The IP address of the SSTP interface is used as the local reference and remote address of the EoIP over SSTP tunnel. The application of bridging on EoIP interfaces and interfaces connected to Access Point devices forms a logical network so that the management and monitoring of hotspot services can be performed centrally on one router.

Abstract

In accordance with the technological advances of web-based information delivery via the internet has more value, because the information can be delivered easily, quickly, spacious and interactive. Because this way, information is simply inserted into the web and within seconds the information can be accessed globally.Submission of this information has not been used in Ngebruk Islamic Junior High School, Sumberpucung District, Malang Regency. Submission of the information in these schools still use manual way, such as by mail, bulletin boards, or orally. Surely this way less effective and efficient, since it requires a lot of expenses such as the purchase of paper, printing machine and maintenance, ink, and its scope was limited to the scope of the school.To reduce the above problems, the delivery of information in this school need to use web media created with the PHP programming language and MySQL. PHP is a programming language that is used to allow users to process information on the web, while MySQL is the software used to store the information on the web. Once the web is run online, the school entered information to the web, can be accessed via intenet by anyone without the limited space and time.

Abstract

Proyeksi teknologi informasi saat ini sebagian besar dapat dirasakan dalam bentuk perangkat lunak berupa sistem informasi. Contoh dalam bidang pendidikan banyak perangkat lunak (sistem informasi) yang sudah dimanfaatkan seperti Sistem Informasi Akademik, E-Learning, E-Library yang ada pada Perguruan Tinggi dan Sekolah. Dalam bidang kesehatan seperti Sistem Informasi Rekam Medik, Sistem Informasi Rawat Inap Pasien, Sistem Informasi Stok Obat baik yang secara online maupun offline. Saat melakukan pengembangan sistem informasi ini diperlukan tahapan yang sistematis guna menghasilkan sistem informasi yang baik dan berkualitas serta dapat digunakan oleh user. Salah satu tahapan yang mendasar ada pada System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). SDLC merupakan siklus pengembangan sistem informasi yang popular untuk pengembangan sistem terdiri dari beberapa langkah yaitu 1). Tahap Perencanaan; 2). Tahap Analisis; 3). Tahap Desain; 4). Tahap Implementasi; 5). Tahap Pengujian; 6). Tahap Pemeliharaan. Salah satu pengembangan SDLC yaitu model Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang juga dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem dengan mengutamakan waktu. Waktu pengerjaan dalam RAD relatif singkat sekitar 60-90 hari. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan studi analisis model RAD yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi. Penulis mengambil beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang sudah menggunakan model RAD. Dalam penelitian ini menyimpulkan beberapa kegunaan model RAD dalam pengembangan sistem informasi
