Abstract

This study aims to determine how influence the direct and indirect variable halal label, brand / brand images and prices on consumer purchasing decisions Muslims in the city of Medan (Study in the subdistrict of Medan Petisah). Methods used quantitative approach using path analysis with multiple linear regression model is supported by test models and statistical test by using SPSS version 17. This research showed that approximately 65.1% variable halal label, brand / brand image and price influence consumer purchase decisions Muslims in the city of Medan (a case study in the district of Medan Petisah), while 34.9% is explained by other factors. Next that approximately 59,7% variable halal label and brand influence prices, while 40,3% is explained by other factors. The results show the significance of the indirect impacts their indirect effect of variable halal label and brand / brand image on purchase decisions through the price significantly.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the perception of Moslem society to use of non-cash payment instruments in Medan. This reaserch used primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to the people of Medan totaling 100 samples. The approach used is a quantitative approach to process data obtained from questionnaires after previously transformed into a form numerical data (numbers) by  Likert scale. Such data processed with assisted by Eviews program.The analysis used is multiple regression.Results of Public Perception Estimates found that R2 ammounted to 0.836 it means a change of independent variables explain the changes in the dependent variable was amounted to 83.6% and 16.4% explained variables outside the model. While the F-test is obtained by 37.52 or to the value of Prob. 0,000 means jointly variables Efficiency, Security, Infrastructure, Environment Promotion and affect the public perception of Muslim against non-cash Payment Instruments in Medan. Efficiency Variable Coefficient research results positive and significant impact on the public perception of Non-Cash Payment Instrument with t-stat of 2.814 is greater than t-table is 1.661. Security has positive influence and significant on the public perception of Non-Cash Payment Instrument with t-stat of 2.437 is greater than t-table is 1.661. Infrastructure has positive influence and significant  on the public perception of Non-Cash Payment Instrument with t-stat of 2.815 is greater than t-table is 1.661. Promotion has positive and significant on the public perception of Non-Cash Payment Instrument as it has a t-stat of 2.236 is greater than t-table is 1.661. Environment has positive influence and significant on the public perception of Non-Cash Payment Instrument  with t-stat of 2.555 is greater than t-table is 1.661.So that  can be  concluded of the infrastructure variable most significant effect on the perception of the Muslim community in using non-cash payment instruments in Medan. Bank Indonesia is expected to more aggressively again in the dissemination of non-cash payment and the benefits of using it where a lot of people who do not understand at all about electronic payments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the financial performance of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk 2010-2015 period. Financial ratios used: Liquidity Ratios, Asset Management Ratios, Debt Management Ratios and Profitability Ratios. The results of the research liquidity ratio, Current ratio and Quick Ratio decreased which indicates the liquidity of the company is not good and in fulfilling its smooth liability has not been said good. The ratio of asset management increases overall, because the company is already efficient in the use of assets to create sales that will increase the company's profit. The ratio of debt management, total debt to total assets is good enough because the company is able to cover its debt through its own capital and able to cover the interest expense with the funds owned. Profitability ratios show poor performance because the net profit of each sale is decreasing. Lack of efficiency in performance in optimizing their own capital to generate net income but using its assets productively increased so the profits derived by companies based on investments invested in the company is good enough.

Abstract

Perception of the system for the results is the public perception that the system for these results more in line with the principles of Shari'ah.The approach in this study was the quantitative. The population in this research is the community around the working area of Bank Syari’ah Mandiri KCP Medan Simpang Limun as much as 242 family heads and samples acquired 97 respondents.Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of the research there were obtained: the influence of quality of service (0.000); for the results (p = 0,016) against interest became Bank's Shariah; There is the influence of the quality of service and for the results against the interest became Bank's Shariah (p = 0.000). The better the quality of service and products that Shariah Bank given understandable public can cause a good perception that ultimately can lead to an interest in one's self into a bank's Shariah.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the intensity of Locus of Control, Employee Relations, Salaries and religiosity influence on the performance of employees at PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah CFBC Medan. The population involved in this study were the employees of PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah CFBC Medan which amounted to 65 respondents. Data collection technique was complished by spreading the questionnaire to 65 respondents which comprised of 19 items for everyone and it was divided into 3 independent variables and a dependent variable. Furthermore, the interview was held to whom that was considered important in completing the research data, then all documentations study in the form of research object literature as well as direct observation were conducted to directly find out the activities of respondents. In the F statistical analysis, the locus of control, employees relations, and religiosity were simultaneously led to a positive effect in improving the performance of PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah CFBC Medan Employee.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the relationship between Knowledge and attitude of wakaf manager who is a Nazhîr in Stabat sub-district of Langkat regency with their behavior of empowering productive endowments, focusing on knowledge relation with Nazhîr's behavior, Nazhîr attitude relationship with Nazhîr's behavior, Testing the hypothesis of Significant or not Knowledge and attitude Nazhîr against Nazhîr's behavior. While research methodology used in this research is quantitative research where the data is the number obtained from questionnaires that have been disseminated to the Nazhîr of wakaf in Stabat Sub-district.     After the research, it was found that the relationship of Knowledge to Nazhîr's Behavior is Significant while Nazhîr's Attitude is also significant towards the Behavior of Nazhîr's productive endowments in Stabat District of Langkat Regency.

Abstract

The public and private institutions of Medan, Bank Sumut, PT Telkom and UMSU implement the Zakat based on the Leader’s Policy. The research method using descriptive qualitative, interviews, documentation, observation. The results showed the Zakat Profession is done by deducted 2.5% of monthly salarySOP; 1) Decision Letter from Management, 2). Socialization, 3). 2.5% per monthly, 4), Mustahiq, 5). Evaluation. The obstacles; 1). lack of professional, 2), Muzaki is less trustful, 3). Direct distribution of alms to the recipients. 4). Lack of trust to the Institute. (5). No punishment refuse alms collection. 6). Lack of socialization 7). Paper-based, instead of IT management, 8). Khilafiyah, 9). No regulation of the profession Zakat, Recommendation; 1). All institutions of Medan should collect profession alms and distribute it productively. 2) Government and DPRD of Medan should formulate and issue local regulation on profession alms.

Abstract

This study aims to describe about the use of hijab to women who work in culinary business Medan City. This research uses qualitative method whose data is descriptive analytical. The objects of this research are owners and female workers at the Bika Ambon Zulaikha and Bolu Meranti outlets. The research is using qualitative method with descriptive analytic data and collection by interviewing, observing and documenting techniques. The results of the study show that (1) Working with women workers is a policy applied by culinary investors for the purpose of implementing marketing management strategies in attracting the largest Muslim consumers in Medan and maintaining clean and hygienic environment for all culinary products. (2) Awareness of the veil of every female worker which are an ideological awareness and understanding long before work, find awareness and understanding of hijab after work also the awareness and understanding of the hijab is limited as the head cover to maintain the cleanliness of culinary products. (3) Hijab also contributes in building the perception of Islamic consumers to shop at culinary outlets. That Islamic consumers have the confidence and convenience of hygienic and halal guarantees when shopping for culinary at outlets whose workers use the hijab.

Abstract

Islam has set up all human behavior in fulfilling the needs of his life that is does not deviate from the teachings of Islam. Different reactions will describe different behavior that is different then the consumer will give different reaction in terms of feelings toward the same information. The purpose of the study is to know the influence of the knowledge and attitude toward the behavior of the community in the Islamic bank. This research is a research field that uses a quantitative approach. The population of the research was the head of the family in Kelurahan Sei Sikambing D totalling 297 and sample as many as 59 respondents. The results of the research there were obtained: the influence of knowledge (p = 0.001); attitude (p = 0.000) of community behavior on Islamic banks; and there is the influence of the knowledge and attitude to behavior society in Islamic banks (p = 0.000). Conclusions: knowledge of Islamic banks which received the community cannot materialize if it does not have a good attitude so as not to be embodied into action is customer into Islamic banking which is a form of behavior.

Abstract

The aim of this research was the influenced of financing to deposit ratio and capital adequacy ratio to return on asset that non performing financing as moderating variable on sharia commercial bank in Indonesia. This type of research is causality. The research sample using purposive sampling the sharia commercial bank which have annuall report containing the FDR, CAR, NPF, and ROA, it have sample 6 of sharia commercial bank begin in 2010 s.d 2015 resulted 36 observations. The analytical method used consisted of descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hyphotesis tets, and test the moderating variables was interaction test. The results showed that all hypothesis is rejected. FDR negative effect and doesn`t significant on ROA. NPF does not moderate influence of FDR to ROA. CAR negative effect and doesn`t significant on ROA. NPF does not moderate influence of CAR to ROA. The results of this research have relevance to the data in the introduction section which describing condition of Islamic Banking.
