Abstract

School Operational Assistance (BOS) has an important contribution to increase access to education in Indonesia. Deli Serdang Regency is a district that has a large number of residents, schools and students with a large number of schools and students, so sometimes the budget funds for BOS funds are not sufficient to provide all schools with the total number of students listed in the madrasah emission data. With the lack of government budget for BOS funds, a cut in the distribution of BOS funds was carried out in each school which was usually done manually by only looking at the number of students registered in the EMI data and determining the percentage of distribution of BOS funds to each school regardless of the needs that must be met at the school. In this final project, the researcher makes a data mining system for determining the amount of distribution of BOS funds in Deli Serdang Regency, this system is built using the Naive Bayes algorithm as a means of calculating BOS funds according to predetermined criteria, this system uses the PHP programming language using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as database method used in this system is waterfall. This system was built with the aim of making it easier to distribute and so that the distribution of BOS funds is right on target to schools in need.

Abstract

Mudharabah financing is a product that is in demand by the public, especially for those who want to develop their business but do not have capital. Meanwhile, murabahah financing is a product that offers buying and selling between BMT Tebing Tinggi and members. BMT Tebing Tinggi will purchase or order goods according to the request of members, then sell them to members at the purchase price plus the agreed BMT Tebing Tinggi profit. Data processing activities on this financing product are still carried out using hand or written media, services are hampered so that members have to wait a long time. Based on this background, an Android-based mudharabah and murabahah financing application was made. In making this application, researchers used qualitative methods to analyze data using Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools. By using kodular tools, Java as the programming language and MySQL as the database. This financing application produces a system that facilitates activities that occur at BMT Tebing Tinggi such  as member registration, savings submissions, financing applications and installment payments, as well as simplifying data processing such as member data, savings, financing, and installments.

Abstract

The need for an electrical energy source is currently a very necessary thing, therefore researchers conducted experiments on the use of pineapple peel (ananas  comosus) extract as an electrolyte solution with a variety of electrodes. This research was conducted with the aim of generating voltage, electric current, and strength values. The measure of the holding capacity of the solution used were 50 ml, 100 ml, 150 ml, 200 ml, and 250 ml. The electrodes to be used are in the form of copper-zinc, copper-iron, and copper-aluminum pairs with each plate measurement of 4 cm × 7 cm, thickness of 0.2 mm. To determine the magnitude of the value of the voltage and current, a resistance is given in the form of an LED lamp. Based on the results of the research the pH measurement of the solution was 3.9. The test results obtained by the pair of Cu:Zn plates are the best compared to other pairs of plates, namely by producing a voltage of 1.59 Volts, a current of 0.28 mA, and an strength values of 0.44 mW with a volume of 250 ml. This is due to the influence of the volume of the solution and the electrodes used, that the more plates submerged in the solution, the greater the energy produced.

Abstract

Meningitis must be detected as soon as possible, just like any other disease, to give the patient the best chance of recovery. Physical examination, symptoms, what is felt, and the suspected tissue particles are all used to establish the diagnosis of Meningitis. If anything unusual happens, we should consult with specialists who are experts in their field to check the facts and situation. However, some people are more sedentary because they don't know how to treat their illness, or because they believe it's just a symptom of a common illness, or because it's expensive to see a doctor. The lack of public awareness in the field of meningitis, as well as the lack of professionals in the field, makes it difficult to treat people with this disease. Given these circumstances, having a Meningitis detection application system that uses the Dempster Shafer technique to diagnose the type of Meningitis disease based on clinical symptoms is very important. The Dempster Shafer approach will be used to create an expert system application, where the results of previous expert system trials including patient symptoms reveal that this system is capable of diagnosing disease based on symptoms, even when the perceived symptoms are ambiguous. To find out the symptoms experienced by the patient. The application will then inform the public about the symptoms experienced by the patient

Abstract

The determination of the recipients of functional allowance subsidies for non-civil servant teachers at SMA Tamansiswa Tapian is done manually with no weighting of criteria which means that the teachers who will be selected are not based on the best abilities and criteria so that the system that runs is not appropriate and efficient. In order for the teacher's functional allowance to be properly targeted, it is necessary to implement a decision support system to handle it automatically. Teachers who receive the functional allowance subsidy are eligible once a year so that the election is conducted annually and the system can be used continuously. The combination of the MOORA and WASPAS methods in the decision support system is able to determine the best value from the assessment of 5 criteria with a predetermined weight. This system can rank the highest to the lowest scores of each teacher as a candidate for the functional allowance subsidy.

Abstract

The GPS Lock method and cloud storage can be applied to the field employee activity monitoring application to be a solution in minimizing the frauds that exist in every employee's job in the field. LOCK GPS can lock the location of employees so that employees can no longer commit dishonesty during absenteeism. To make it easier to monitor employee activities remotely, a menu of employee activity uploads will be provided in the form of photos which will later be completed with the date and time automatically. In harvesting data collection or reports of harvest evidence, a menu is provided to upload photos of the weighing process for harvests and weighing results so that there is no more dishonesty in harvesting data collection. The data for this study were collected through observation, interviews, and relevant literature studies such as journals and books. There are two types of data collected: primary and secondary. By using UML, the steps taken to design the database and describe the workflow of the application to be built. At this stage the author creates an interface that is in accordance with the functions required for the application to be built. RAD (Rapid Application Development) is a system development method used in this research. RAD is a fast-adapted version of the waterfall model that uses a component construction approach.

Abstract

This research was conducted to utilize durian seed waste into activated carbon and aims to identify the characteristics of the durian seed activated carbon produced from the activation temperature alteration. With an experimental method with a quantitative approach, the process of making durian seed activated carbon was tested by carbonization using an oven at a temperature of 200 oC for 180 minutes, then temperature activation with alterations of 500, 600, and 700 oC was held for 120 minutes in the furnace, and after it was added with chemical activation by using a 1,5 M H2SO4 solution for 24 hours of immersion. The analysis seen is to test the water content, volatile matter content, ash content, bound carbon content, and to see the surface morphology of activated carbon using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). The results of the test obtained values for water content (6,83 – 12,73%), volatile matter content (16,98 – 26,89%), ash content (7,85 – 12,04%), bound carbon content(61,66 – 75,17%), with an increase in the activation temperature there is a tendency to decrease the value of water content, volatile matter content, ash content, and there is an increase in the value of bound carbon content. And visible cavities on the surface of the activated carbon along with the increase in activation temperature.

Abstract

Research has been done on the physicl test of charcoal briquettes made from tea stems (Camellia sinensis). This study aims to determine the physical characteristics of the charcoaI briquettes produced. This research is motivated by the increasing demand for human fuel, thus utilizing tea stems as the main ingredient in making briquettes. The sample variations used were tea tree trunk charcoaI and tapioca adhesive as an adhesive with a ratio of 90%:I0%, 80%:20%, 70%:30%, 60%:40%, and 50%:50%. The physical test carried out included water content, density, and calorific value. The results obtained from the physical test of biochar briquettes with the best quality approaching the quality standards of Indonesian briquettes were obtained on sample with a composition (70%:30%) with the value of water content, density, and calorific value, each of which was 5 .70%, 0.55 g/cm3, and (-) 7.62 cal/g.

Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology that unites the real world view with the virtual world in real time. Augmented Reality has been widely used in various fields, one of which is education. Augmented Reality can be used by students to make it easier to learn the periodic system. The mnemonic concept is a concept that is used to help students remember vocabulary information more quickly and easily. In this study, a learning media application for the periodic system of elements was developed using the mnemonic concept that utilizes Augmented Reality technology that can help students understand and remember material related to the periodic system of chemical elements. This application is made with Blender 3D software to create 3D atomic structure objects and their uses, Vuforia SDK and Unity 3D for building applications and marker detection. The final result of making this learning media application is Augmented Reality which can display 3D objects from the atomic structure and uses of these elements as well as mnemonic concepts from groups IA to VIIIA. This application uses a Markerless Based Tracking technique. From the tests that have been carried out on users, it is concluded that the applications built are suitable for use

Abstract

The rapid development of internet technology can be felt and is very much needed in numerous industries of company when it comes to selling their products online. Marketplace is an e-commerce service that connects merchants and customers online to handle buying and selling transactions, such as creating a marketplace application. This marketplace can assist businesses in offering their products and competing in a healthy manner, one of which is the Umrah and Hajj travel agency business. The Umrah and Hajj travel marketplace can assist travel companies in marketing their products, prospective pilgrims have many travel options and desired departure packages, and prospective pilgrims can order packages online and in real time using this application. This program also has a pleasing appearance and gives menus and options to assist the congregation in doing their worship. The umrah and hajj travel application is an android-based application built using the dart programming language, flutter framework, and MySQL database used for data storage.
