Abstract

Augmented reality is a technologycal development that can display two dimensional or three dimensional virtual objects into a real scope and then display them or display them in real time. Augmented reality technology in the application of building and room location layout on UINSU Medan campus I is an application that uses the markerless user defined target method, which is a method that applies it without using a marker or marker to dismantle the 3D augmented reality map of UINSU Medan campus I environment. This application program can help users to find buildings and rooms within the building, without having to ask the security guard or see an image map that is on campus locations, with this technology users can determine where children are without having to be in first. Campus environment. This application runs on the Android operating system and is offline based, so it can be more easily accessed by all users.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to find out how the quality of dug well water before and after being filtered using activated carbon, zeolite, and silica sand, and to find out how the composition of the mixing of activated carbon, zeolite, and sand is to produce clean water with the most optimum quality for color parameters. based on PERMENKES RI No. 32 of 2017. This study uses dug well water from Sungai Segajah Jaya Village, Kubu District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The composition of activated carbon, zeolite, and silica sand used is 60%:20%:20%, 50%:25%:25%, and 40%:30%:30%. The test results of dug well water samples before applying the filtering method for color. The test results of dug well water samples after applying the filtering method with activated carbon, zeolite, and sand with a composition of 60%:20%:20%, 50%:25%:25%, and 40%:30%:30 %, for the color parameter has met the standard of clean water quality based on PERMENKES RI No. 32 of 2017. From the three variations in the composition of the filter material, the optimum composition of mixing activated carbon, zeolite, and silica sand in the filter was obtained with a composition of 40%:30%:30%. This is shown from the test results data, the results of sample D for color parameters are better according to the maximum limit standard allowed by PERMENKES RI No. 32 of 2017 concerning the requirements for clean water quality, namely 32 TCU.

Abstract

Load Balance merupakan teknik pendistribusian beban trafik pada dua atau lebih jalur koneksi agar trafik berjalan optimal. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengamati suatu sistem jaringan yang mana dalam manajemen jaringan nya hanya terdapat 1 ISP saja dan tidak ada suatu metode didalamnya sehingga menimbulkan beberapa kelemahan yaitu konektifitas tidak stabil dan beban trafik mengalami overload karena menggunakan 1 ISP saja, sementara yang mengakses internet melalui ISP tersebut padat. Tidak terdapat failover sehingga jika terjadi down terhadap satu ISP client akan mengalami delay (penundaan akses internet) Sementara untuk mengatasi indikasi permasalah tersebut dapat menggunakan load balance dengan metodePCC (Peer Connection Classifier) danpenerapanteknik failover. Oleh karenanya penulis membuat penerapan load balance menggunakan metode Per Connection Classifier (PCC), agar memberikan konektifitas yang stabil/seimbang sehingga beban trafik tidak overload dan menerapkan teknik failover pada firewall mangle agar pengalihan jalur koneksi dapat berpindah ke ISP/gateway cadangan saat ISP utama down sehingga pengguna tidak perlu delay dan berdampak efektif bagi pengguna jaringan.

Abstract

Research has been carried out which aims to determine the test results of palm oil effluent samples on BOD and COD parameters before and after the electrocoagulation process using Al,Zn, and Fe electrodes. This research uses palm oil effluent from PTPN IV ADOLINA. The results of the BOD test before electrocoagulation were 243 img/l. The results of the BOD test after electrocoagulation with the Al electrode were 100 mg/l, the Zn electrode was i66.8 img/l, and the Fe electrode was 121 mg/l. The test results for COD levels before electrocoagulation were 649 mg/l.The test results for COD levels iafter electrocoagulation with Al electrodes were 350 mg/l, Zn electrodes were 178 mg/l, and Fe electrodes were 315 mg/l. From these electrode variations, ithe best results were obtained for testing the levels of BOD and COD of palm oil liquid waste on the Zn electrode. Key words: Electrode, Electrocoagulation, BOD, COD

Abstract

Advances in technology, information and technology at this time are growing rapidly, a lot of human work is facilitated by technology. Technology has also developed in investment instruments, especially in stock investments. Previously, when there was no technology, it would be very difficult to predict the stock price of state-owned banks in the future for ordinary people who do not understand fundamental or technical analysis. However, with technology, especially in the field of Deep Learning, it will be very possible to predict future stock prices without having to understand fundamental or technical analysis. In this study, stock price predictions of state-owned banks for the next 30 days were made using the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) model on stocks of state-owned banks in Indonesia, namely BRI, BNI, BTPN, and Mandiri bank shares. The data used uses historical close price data on the stock for 5 years with a total of 1260 data. From the results of the research for test data, the smallest RMSE value was found in BTPN bank shares of 23,91164 followed by BRI bank shares of 264,1475, BNI bank of 427,7984 and the largest RMSE value in BMRI bank shares amounting to 907,4804

Abstract

Hajj and umrah is a visit to Mecca to implement the 5th pillar of Islam  which  is required for Muslims in carrying out it, especially for those who are able to carry it out. With the technology that has been developed at this time the Hajj and Umrah package ordering information system is urgently needed in an effort to improve services to people who will perform Hajj or Umrah, by allowing each pilgrim to use the system that has been provided for ordering Hajj and Umrah packages. Multilevel feedback queue is an algorithm based on a queuing system which can provide recommendations based on the priority of prospective pilgrims who have registered by making several criteria as a support in determining the highest priority to the lowest, this algorithm is very possible to move queues in accordance with specified priorities by pilgrims and umrah.Keywords: Hajj and Umrah, Queue Information System and Multilevel Feedback

Abstract

Research using the electrocoagulation method has been carried out to determine the results of the sample test results for BOD and COD parameters in palm oil mill effluent. The electrodes used n this method are aluminium electrodes with varying adapter voltages of 6, 9, and 12 Volts. Palm oil liquid waste used comes from PTPN IV Adolina Perbaungan. The results of the study showed that before the electrocoagulation method the BOD value obtained was 243 mg/l, while after the electrocoagulation method the best results were obtained at a voltage of 12 Volt with a value of 52,5 mg/l. The value obtained before the electorocoagulation method was carried out on the COD parameter was 649 mg/l and after the electrocoagulation method the best results were obtained at a voltage of 12 Volt, which was 110 mg/l. This shows that the parameter values of BOD and COD in processed waste have decreased and meet the wastewater quality standards for the palm oil industry, namelyb 100 mg/l and 350 mg/l. The higher the value of the applied voltage, the more optimal the levels of BOD and COD.

Abstract

Geographic Information System is a system created based on the geographic mapping of the earth. This system can provide information about the location of the area or the location of places on the earth's surface, provide information about a location and information about the shortest path from one location to another. The city of Padang Sidempuan currently has many tourist attractions that have a beauty that is not far from other cities, such as Tor Simarsayang, Silima-Lima Waterfall, Aek Sabaon and others. However, currently there is no application that can make it easier for tourists to get information to get to the tourist attractions in question. The Floyd-Warshall algorithm is a method that performs problem solving by looking at the solution that will be obtained as an interrelated decision and will choose the shortest path from several alternative paths that have been generated from the calculation process. In this study using the waterfall research method, android programming language and MySQL database with data as much as 10 tourism points. The final results were tested using the black box testing method, obtained an average accuracy of 90% of the results of the shortest distance from each point and the system can display features, such as tourist data features, tourist facilities, cost estimates, tourist pictures and opening times of the tourist attractions

Abstract

Research on information technology, namely in terms of urban transportation in Medan. This study makes information technology in the form of an android application for customers and drivers which aims to track the location of city transportation using a driver application that is directly connected online with the customer application so that they can see the position of the driver and can also request pick-up at the bus stop. In terms of tracking using GPS (Global Positioning System) while for mapping using Google Maps Api Key. This application uses the design of several Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams.

Abstract

His research is a field study that is kaulitatif in which the data and information are obtained and collected through direct studies of improving the quality of teaching staff through internationally reputed scientific work carried out in the science and technology faculty of the Sumatra State Islamic University of Medan (UINSU). Techniques used in data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research found by researchers in the field are that there are still educators who have never published scientific work with international or national reputation. To improve the quality of teaching staff, one of the trainings was provided by researchers to help motivate them to write scientific works. . In the training to improve the quality of educators of internationally reputed scientific works, present speakers or experts who are well aware of scientific work. This research also proves that the competence of the teaching staff in improving the quality of scientific work is very low and has not taken significant results. One way to improve the quality of experts in the publication of internationally reputed scientific work, namely by the existence of workshops on scientific writing must be consistent in the writing of scientific works both internationally and nationally.
