Abstract

Every plant really needs water to be able to live and as much as possible to be watered on time, because if it is too late, the growth of the plant will be hampered or even unable to develop and die, therefore there are other alternatives for plant lovers in doing plant care and not making it. We are busy in watering plants, namely using plant watering technology using Arduino electronic control, where this tool can distribute water to each plant by detecting water needs in the plant, if the planting medium on the plant is dry, it will turn on the tool and water the plant. The current method of watering plants requires energy and takes time for us to water the plants and we don't even know whether these plants need water because the surface of the soil is dry, so there is still a lot of water available inside, with this controller the water content can be determined, if the water content in the low soil, the tool will automatically turn on and water the plants

Abstract

Complementary foods breast milk (MPASI) is a very important thing for growth and development in a baby, to achieve optimal growth and development process, balanced nutrition is needed, even nowadays babies are often stunted or have malnutrition. Good parents, of course, do not just provide complementary foods to their babies but will pay attention to whether or not the MPASI nutrition is given. By modeling an MPASI guide application, it can help parents determine the right nutrition to give to their babies and parents can make the right decisions and find out the nutritional status of their babies. Modeling this application using Unifield Modeling Language (UML) and implemented into the application using Android Studio. From the resulting application model, it can help and provide references to parents in providing balanced nutrition for their babies.

Abstract

PT. Cahaya Hermes Indo Abadi is one of the largest non-subsidized gas distributors in the city of Padang. Gas is a necessity in society. It is necessary to pay attention to the availability of gas to meet consumer needs, the state of gas stocks can affect the level of sales revenue. Sales relate to consumer desires for goods and services that they want to fulfill. Increasing the amount of gas demand can generate a large income. In predicting gas needs, a method is needed that is able to overcome society's gas needs. One of the methods used in this research is the Monte Carlo Method. This method is able to overcome further gas needs so data is needed to overcome this problem. The data used is 12 Kg non-subsidized gas sales data for three years, namely Gas Sales Data for 2021, 2022, and Gas Sales Data for 2023. The level of prediction accuracy in 2022 is 86.9% and in 2023 the accuracy is 86.6%. Based on the gas distribution simulation that has been carried out, the average is 86.75%. By obtaining a greater level of accuracy, this method is suitable for use and implementation in predicting future gas demand, making it easier for companies to make decisions in the future.

Abstract

Currently, the use of computers is very much needed in the process of processing data into information needed by companies. By implementing a computerized system in a company, it is considered to really help the company in making decisions based on the information produced by the system. The Manggis Mandiri Building Shop is a building shop that is currently developing and operates in the sales of building materials, where data processing of goods and receivables is still done manually and all activity reports on the bookkeeping system are still poorly structured. The obstacles that arise are the time problem where calculating receivables or checking goods data takes too long and also the problem of controlling the stock of available goods which is not very well organized. Therefore, the author designed a web-based application using Php Mysql, Xampp and the Laravel Framework. The source of data obtained is through primary data sources and data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. It is hoped that this system can make it easier for Manggis Mandiri stores to run their business and gain profits amidst a lot of competition. As a result of the research, this application has met the system requirements needed such as recording receivables, stock of goods, reporting goods in and goods out.

Abstract

Learning Media in general is a tool in the teaching and learning process. The use of computers as a learning medium or known as CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) is a microprocessor-based learning material delivery system whose lessons are designed and programmed into the system. This can be an innovative learning tool compared to blackboards and chalk. SAKINAH KB PAUD is an early childhood education located in Baru Ibul village. The learning media currently used at PAUD KB SAKINAH for introducing animals is using Origami paper as a visual tool. The aim of this research is to create a more interesting and interactive animal recognition learning media application to make it easier for teachers in the teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method (sequentially) which consists of six stages, namely requirements (needs analysis), system design (system design), coding (coding), testing (testing) and operation & Mintence (maintenance). This research resulted in an interactive learning media application for animal recognition at PAUD KB SAKINAH.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of inventory management and spare parts procurement at CV. Daya Putra Pratama, which is still done manually using spreadsheets and physical documents. This condition causes stock data discrepancies, delays in the procurement process, difficulties in monitoring procurement status, and limited information on spare parts availability for technicians. The resulting impacts include increased heavy equipment downtime, hampered maintenance activities, and decreased operational efficiency. To address these problems, a website-based Industrial Maintenance System application was developed that integrates stock management, purchase requests, purchase orders, inventory inspections, and supplier payment monitoring in one centralized platform. The Rapid Application Development method was used through the stages of requirements planning, design, and implementation. The development results show that the resulting application is able to improve inventory data accuracy, accelerate the procurement process, increase information transparency, and support more effective decision-making. Thus, the developed application can support increased operational efficiency and integrated inventory management and spare parts procurement.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of K-Means Clustering and Single Linkage algorithms in classifying the quality of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of oil palm based on four main variables: ripeness level, oil content, bunch weight, and water content. The dataset consists of ten harvest records representing variations in FFB characteristics. The analysis process began with Min–Max normalization, followed by clustering using K-Means (k=3) and Single Linkage (Hierarchical). The results showed that K-Means produced a lower Sum of Squared Error (SSE) (215.32), indicating more compact and homogeneous clusters, while Single Linkage achieved a higher Silhouette Score (0.914) compared to K-Means (0.892), reflecting clearer separation between clusters. This implies that K-Means is more suitable when compactness is prioritized, whereas Single Linkage performs better when the goal is natural separation. The implementation was carried out through a web-based system at PT. Teguh Karsa Wanalestari 2 Pom, Siak Regency, Riau, to address the problem of manual and subjective FFB quality assessment. The system enables real-time data input, automated calculations, evaluation with SSE and Silhouette Score, and presents results in tables, graphs, accuracy reports, and Gmail notifications. With this system, FFB quality can be consistently grouped into three grades (A, B, C), supporting decision-making in harvesting, distribution, and processing more objectively and efficiently to maintain Crude Palm Oil (CPO) quality.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has strengthened the analysis of social media data, particularly in understanding public opinion on national political issues. This study examines public sentiment on the X (Twitter) platform regarding the issues of Gibran’s Impeachment and the Urging by Retired Military Officers using the Decision Tree CART algorithm. Data were collected through a crawling process, resulting in 1,020 tweets for the Impeachment issue and 89 tweets for the Urging issue. After preprocessing, the dataset was labeled using a Lexicon-Based method that classifies text into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. The evaluation results show that for the Impeachment issue, the model achieved an accuracy of 97.05%–99.51%, with the highest performance found in the Neutral class (F1-Score 98.46%). For the Urging issue, the model obtained an overall accuracy of 88.89%, with the highest performance also in the Neutral class (F1-Score 94.12%). Model performance decreased in the Positive and Negative classes due to data imbalance. Overall, the findings indicate that Decision Tree CART is effective for sentiment classification on small to medium datasets and reveal that public sentiment toward both issues is predominantly Neutral.

Abstract

The management of the internship program at the Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) of Sidoarjo Regency is currently conducted manually. This conventional approach faces significant challenges regarding information transparency, the ease of monitoring daily activities, and the administration of program completion, necessitating a digital transformation to enhance service quality. This research aims to design and develop a web-based internship information system to automate the entire administrative process at Diskominfo Sidoarjo. The system development utilized the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method, encompassing the requirements phase, a planning phase that resulted in 28 user stories, as well as design, implementation, and system testing. Technically, the website was built using the Express.js framework and the React.js library. The result is a functional information system that provides features for internship data management, daily activity monitoring, and program completion administration. System testing was conducted using the black-box testing method, which demonstrated that all functionalities met the functional requirements of the users. Overall, the web-based internship information system at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Sidoarjo Regency was successfully developed using the Personal Extreme Programming approach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limitations of the conventional doorbell system that only uses sound indicators without providing visual information and remote notifications. The research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart doorbell system using ESP32-CAM and Telegram and analyze the influence of XCLK frequency optimization on system stability and response. The method used is a prototype through the stages of design, implementation, testing, and evaluation of the system. The system was developed using the ESP32-CAM as the main controller and camera module, push button as a trigger, buzzer as a voice indicator, and Telegram Bot as a medium for sending real-time visual notifications. Tests were conducted on XCLK frequency variations of 1 MHz, 5 MHz, 20 MHz, 50 MHz, and 100 MHz to evaluate system performance. The results showed that the 20 MHz XCLK frequency produced the most optimal performance with stable image capture, faster system response, and consistent notification delivery. Low frequencies cause response delays, while high frequencies trigger instability and system restarts. Thus, XCLK frequency optimization is based on [pay attention again to foreign terms in italics. In the same journal, if foreign terms still have to be italicized.significantly affect the reliability and performance of the ESP32-CAM-based smart doorbell system.
