Abstract

Imperata weeds are very difficult to control. It is because the weeds have ability to regenerate rapidly through the stolon and seed. Weed control in principle is an effort to increase the competitiveness of basic crops and weaken the competitiveness of weeds. The use of glyphosate herbicide can be mixed with other ingredients; one of them is urea fertilizer. This study aims to reveal whether the mixture of glyphosate herbicide and urea fertilizer at several doses can suppress weed growth. This study used Randomized Block Design factorial pattern, with two factors: (1) dose factor of glyphosate (G); G0 (control), G1 (glyphosate 100 ml liter), and G2 (200 ml liters of glyphosate). (2) urea fertilizer (P); P0 (control), P1 (urea 400 gram), and P2 (urea 600 gram). The results showed that the mixture of glyphosate herbicide and urea fertilizer can suppress the growth and development of imperata weeds. The best treatment was found in a mixture of 200 ml of glyphosate herbicide and urea fertilizer at a dose of 600 grams, while the lowest treatment was found in the control

Abstract

The Women's Savings and Loans Program is one of the Indonesian government's efforts to develop rural savings and loans opportunities, strengthen women's institutions, and encourage the reduction of poor households and job creation. The decision support system for the selection of recipients of women's savings and loans funds aims to determine the profitability of lending to women's groups in UPK in North Rao district. Suboptimal decision-making can interfere with the provision of women's savings and loans funds. This system is made by the Electre method (Elimination et choix traduisantla realite). The aim is to help the UPK of Pohjois Rao Subdistrict to provide objective and targeted assistance based on different levels of importance from each criterion. System created using the Electre method, (Elimination et choix traduisantla realite). The aim is to help the North Rao Subdistrict UPK provide assistance objectively and purposefully based on different levels of importance from each criterion. Calculations are carried out for each criterion in this system, which then shows the rating results from the highest to the lowest, so that it can be used as a reference for UPK to determine borrowers.

Abstract

Testing the quality of the employee attendance information system that has been built can be developed for use in the management process in an organization. System testing is used to ensure that the information system being built can run according to requirements. This research aims to analyze the quality of the information system on the performance of the employee absence process. The analytical method used adopts the McCall performance method to examine the extent to which the attendance system can be productive in dealing with employee absenteeism problems. The McCall method has performance in identifying various aspects of information system quality such as reliability, efficiency, ease of use. There are measurement indicators such as correctness, usability, integrity, reliability and efficiency. Based on the results of the analysis produced by the McCall method, the information system quality results provide a positive response to the reliability factor with a percentage of 80.88%, correctness 79.6%, usability 70.6% while integrity 64.6% and efficiency 46.2%. The results of this analysis can be carried out in an accumulation testing process on all factors with a Likert scale of 82.2%. Based on these results, this research can provide a contribution to maximizing system performance as well as recommendations for improvements to the employee attendance information system.

Abstract

Along with the development of communication and computer technology and the expansion of global trade, human needs for fast and accurate information are increasingly increasing. Bizhie Handmade is an MSME business (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) located in the city of Padang, which produces several kinds of knitwear using knitted basic materials. The products are produced by themselves, starting from designing the product, creating the product and then selling the product to consumers. So far, the sales process for Bizhie Handmade is still carried out on an ongoing basis. manual such as sales and marketing of products in conventional stores. Through a website-based marketing system, you can have a great opportunity to develop your business by offering your products online to buyers without having to meet face to face and with a wider scope that can offer products on websites on the internet. The aim of this research is to build a marketing website for various knitwear which provides information about the products being marketed to make it easier for customers to order various knitwear on Bizhie Handmade, which is implemented in the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. The data processed in this research is sales transaction data in the form of reports originating from Bizhie Handmade. With this website, it is hoped that it can help all activities at Bizhie Handmade.

Abstract

Multiple intelligences and learning modalities possessed by each student need to be considered by teachers. Because to maximize the learning process, both of these things are needed. However, this is often ignored by teachers. The learning process that is carried out only focuses on single intelligence and learning methods that focus on paying attention to the teacher explaining the material. This method certainly causes the learning process to be less than optimal. therefore , an expert system is needed that can help teachers and students know this. The expert system that will be processed takes knowledge from the Guidance and Counseling teacher of SMAN 15 Padang using the Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method. This expert system is processed using the Visual Basic.Net programming language, this expert system can identify 4 types of multiple intelligences, namely linguistics, mathematical logic, music and intrapersonal and also the learning modalities possessed by each student with predetermined rules. The results of the expert system can help teachers and students in improving the learning process. With this system, it can help schools, especially Guidance and Counseling teachers, in identifying the types of learning and multiple intelligences possessed by each student. So that it can develop and provide solutions for developing student abilities.

Abstract

Citra otak merupakan gambar yang didapat dari proses pencitraan otak melalui teknologi medis seperti MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT scan (Computed Tomography), atau PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography). Citra ini memberikan visualisasi dari struktur otak secara terperinci dan digunakan untuk mendeteksi atau mendiagnosa kondisi otak. Citra otak yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 5 citra otak yang diproses menjadi 30 citra otak. Penelitian ini membandingkan kinerja kernel 7x7 dan 9x9 pada tiga jenis operasi utama dalam pengolahan citra otak yaitu penajaman, gaussian blur, dan deteksi tepi. Kernel penajaman diterapkan untuk memperjelas struktur halus dari citra, gaussian blur digunakan untuk mereduksi noise citra dan deteksi tepi bertujuan mengidentifikasi batas anatomi otak. Perbandingan dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi hasil dari dua ukuran kernel terhadap kualitas visual, tingkat detail, dan keberhasilan dalam mengidentifikasi fitur penting otak. Nilai tertinggi dari 5 citra yang didapat adalah kernel penajaman 7x7 pada citra 5 dengan MSE 4.832.932.323, RMSE 69.519.295 dan PSNR 11.288696 dB dan nilai terendahnya adalah kernel gaussian blur 9x9 pada citra 1 dengan MSE 16.747.259.747, RMSE 129.411.204 dan PSNR 5.891366 dB. Kesimpulannya, hasil terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah kernel 7x7 dilihat dari nilai PSNR.

Abstract

Face recognition has become a common thing used in the field of surveillance and security in computer technology and image devices. This study aims to identify the usefulness of a person's face on 3 test images. This study examines the methods of cropping techniques, image enhancement through intensity measurement, and histogram analysis to improve the contrast and distribution of image intensity. In addition, the Viola-Jones algorithm is used to detect key facial features such as eyes, nose, and mouth. The results of the analysis are then applied in the feature evaluation stage, where usually between facial features are applied to measure the ratio of facial proportions. Furthermore, the comparison of proportional ratios of several images was analyzed using bar graphs and line graphs to evaluate the trend and stability of facial proportions. The results showed the best ratio stability with a smaller variation of the on-off ratio of image 2 which is 0.4762 pixels to 0.4983 pixels. Image 2 is the most ideal for face measurement systems based on geometric ratios because it provides more consistent and visible results.

Abstract

This research is conducting analysis of digital land images using digital image processing techniques. The main purpose of the research is to classify soil fertility based on two-dimensional RGB colored digital soil images. The research is done by extracting features and shapes from the soil image. The research uses methods of segmentation, extraction, and identification against digital soil images. This research is carried out in three stages. The first phase of this research is image pre-processing which begins with the conversion of RGB color image to Grayscale then color conversion to binary which subsequently performs noise reduction with the method Three-layer median filter. The second stage is a process that is divided into the first two stages, namely the process of segmentation by grouping RGB color images into L*a*b which is continued by clustering using the K-means clustering method. The second is the extraction of characteristics of the soil image which is characteristic of shape and texture. The final stage is the identification of soil images that are clustered into two types: fertile soils and unfertile soil. The study achieved an accuracy of 85% which could accurately identify 20 images while inaccurately classifying 5 images out of a total of 25 input images.

Abstract

The development of digital technology is driving innovation in education, particularly in creating interactive and engaging learning media for elementary school students. This research aims to design and build a microcontroller-based English learning media for first-grade elementary school students. This system integrates an Arduino Mega 2560 as the main controller, connected to various components such as touch sensors, RFID, push buttons, LEDs, LCDs, and a DFPlayer module to support interaction and learning. This system offers two main features: visual and audio animal name recognition, and an interactive quiz mode that tests students' understanding by providing multiple-choice questions based on the story. When students touch an animal image, the system displays the animal's name in English and Indonesian, along with pronunciation sounds and descriptions. The quiz can be accessed using an RFID card, and students answer using the touch sensor. Feedback is displayed via LEDs and audio from the speaker. Test results indicate that the system operates well and is responsive, and is able to increase students' interest in English lessons. This research is expected to provide an alternative solution for enriching foreign language learning methods at the elementary level with a simple yet effective technological approach.

Abstract

Current technological developments are growing very quickly and have produced a lot of software or systems that can make things easier for humans. Continuous scientific progress drives extensive technological development. One form of information technology known is an information system. One popular type of information system is an expert system, which can be used to improve various services. An expert system is a program that combines human knowledge into a computer to help solve problems that are usually solved by experts. This research aims to identify gaps in research that has been conducted, as well as encourage the development of new ideas and increase capabilities in utilizing existing research resources. Areca nut is a high agricultural resource so it has many benefits in the pharmaceutical industry. . The method that will be used in this research is Breadth First Search (BFS). The algorithm carries out the search process on all nodes that are at the same level or hierarchy one by one. An algorithm that performs a wide search that visits nodes in preorder, that is, visits a node first. There are 16 data on areca plant diseases here and have 33 symptoms which will be processed using the Breadth First Search Method. By diagnosing areca plant diseases using an expert system, it is hoped that we can find more in-depth information about diseases in areca palm trees.
