Abstract

In a study of Indonesia is located in the geographic equator. Because of the location of Indonesia became the countrys tropical climate, which is marked with rainfall almost throughout the year occur with a high enough intensity. The negative impact of high rainfall that flooded, because the volume of water will overflow and uncontrolled. To measure the amount of rainfall in an area used rain gauges infernal surface manual and automatic. However, rain gauges and automatic manual still has the disadvantage that it can not predict what happens next. Radar imagery is one of the modern gauges and able to provide more accurate data. The radar also can detect the intensity of rainfall in bad weather conditions such as rain storms, floods, tornadoes and lightning. So from the description above, rainfall predictions will be verified from the results of the Doppler radar image interpretation with rain gauges located in Pekanbaru BMKG based on observational data were analyzed with a test statiskit MAE test, degree of homogeneity, and the value of the correlation coefficient. Based on the test results Statistics. Such as: MAE test, Correlation Coefficient and Homogeneity Test, the radar is able to predict the rainfall in Pekanbaru correctly.

Abstract

The blend-based polymer electrolyte consisting of chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as host polymers and potassium hydroxide (KOH) as the complexing salt was studied. Polymerelectrolyte were obtained by the casting technique. An attempt was also made to investigate the effect of TiO2 concentration in the chitosan/PVA+KOH polymer electrolyte. The best ionic conductivity values of 1,105 x 10-2 S cm-1 at room temperature were obtained for the sample containing 35%wt of KOH and 1,210 x 10-2 S cm-1 for the sample containing 50% wt TiO2. The polymer electrolyte with good ionic conductivity properties were characterized by thermal analysis (DSC). The glass transition temperature about 75.30 °C for the optimum Chitosan/PVA+KOH

Abstract

Senyawa pirazolin 5-(4-klorofenil)-3-naftalen-2-il-4,5-dihidro-1H-pirazol (PH CN2-4Cl) telah disintesis melalui reaksi siklisasi senyawa 3-(4-kloro-fenil)-1-naftalen-2-il-propenon dan hidrazin hidrat menggunakan katalis asam sulfat dengan diiradiasi gelombang mikro selama 3,5 menit. Senyawa yang diperoleh berupa kristal bening dengan berat 0,11 g dan rendemen yang dihasilkan sebesar 69,20%. Senyawa tersebut menunjukkan rendemen yang baik dan telah dikarakterisasi menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis dan FTIR.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian cemaran bakteri dalam cincau hijau (Cyclea barbata myers) pada minuman air akar yang dijual di Kota Pekanbaru. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda hitungan cawan dan analisis data berdasarkan metoda Standar Plate Count. Identifikasi morfologi dan klasifikasi gram bakteri dilakukan dengan pewarnaan sederhana dan pewarnaan gram. Sampel cincau hijau diambil dari penjual minuman air akar di delapan jalan raya kota Pekanbaru. Sampel cincau selanjutnya diuji angka lempeng total untuk mengetahui cemaran bakteri. Hasil uji didapatkan bahwa seluruh sampel cincau hijau yang diambil memiliki nilai ALT melebihi batas maksimum cemaran mikroba dalam pangan yang dipersyaratkan oleh BPOM dan SNI 7388 untuk jeli agar yaitu 1x104 koloni/g. Bentuk bakteri yang dominan ditemukan berdasarkan pewarnaan bakteri adalah golongan kokus gram positif.

Abstract

Bioethanol is an alternative and potential fuel derived from plants, which has the ability to reduce CO2 emissions. It contains sugar that can be utilized and processed into bioethanol. This study aims to produce bioethanol from pineapple peel (Ananas comosus Merr.) through acidic hydrolysis and fermentation process using Sacharomyces cereviceae. This research was expected to know the optimum condition of S. Cereviceae mass and the time of fermentation on the conversion of pineapple peel into bioethanol towards amount and content of ethanol produced. The hydrolysis was using sulfuric acid (H2SO4), fermented with variations yeast 20, 40 and 60 gram and 2, 4 and 6 days of time variations. The resulting bioethanol was purified using a distillation process, then analyzed by gas chromatography. The results showed that optimum ethanol content was obtain in yeasts 20 and 40 grams and 2 days of fermentation. The resulting ethanol content was 26.3% and 24.6%.

Abstract

Penyakit infeksi tidak menular dewasa ini menjadi ancaman tersendiri dalam kehidupan masyarakat, diabetes mellitus adalah salah satunya, Pertumbuhan diabetes melitus di Indonesia sebesar 15,2% atau dari 8.426.000 orang pada tahun 2.000 dan diperkirakan menjadi 21.257.000 orang di tahun 2030. Penelitian metaanalisis oleh Miller dkk, 5 menemukan pasien diabetes yang mengkonsumsi diet indeks glikemik rendah mengalami penurunan kadar HbA1c 0,43% (CI 0,72-0,13) dan penurunan kadar protein terglikosilasi 7,4%. Penelitian metaanalisis menunjukkan diet dengan tinggi serat mempengaruhi kadar glukosa darah. Didapatkan penurunan kadar glukosa post prandial + 21%. Penelitian Andrew et.al (2012) membuktikan bahwa konsumsi buah dan sayuran yang bervariasi dapat mengurangi factor risiko kejadian diabetes tipe2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara varietas konsumsi buah dengan status glikemik pada penderita diabetes melitus tipeII di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo dan Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan case control study. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan uji Person Chi Squer. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat berhubungan yang bermakna antara varietas konsumsi buah juga berhubungan dengan status glikemik, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai p-value < 0,05 yaitu 0,017. Dengan OR: 3,6 dan CI95%: 1,22 – 10,61. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa varietas konsumsi buah pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe dua berhubungan erat dengan status glikemik pada penderita diabetes mellitus. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubugan yang bermakna antara varietas konsumsi buah dengan status glikemik.

Abstract

Belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) merupakan salah satu spesies dalam family belimbing (Averrhoa). Belimbing wuluh kurang diminati oleh masyarakat jika dikonsumsi secara langsung karena rasanya yang sangat asam. Maka perlu melakukan pengolahan pada belimbing tersebut agar disukai oleh banyak orang. Salah satu caranya yaitu dengan membuat sari buah dari belimbing wuluh dengan penambahan gula dan diberi pengawet makanan agar dapat disimpan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Untuk itu, maka dilakukan penelitian uji karakteristik fisis, pH dan organoleptik pada sari buah belimbing wuluh, agar dapat diketahui apakah ada perubahan Karakteristik fisis pH dan Organoleptik setelah diberikan penambahan gula, pengawet sintetis (natrium benzoat) dan pengawet alami (minyak cengkeh). Dan parameter fisis yang digunakan yaitu massa jenis, ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential), TDS (Tottal Disolve Solid), salinitas, resistivitas, konduktivitas serta uji organoleptik berupa uji rasa, warna dan bau. Dari hasil penelitian di laboratorium menunjukkan jika semakin banyak penambahan pengawet sintetis maka nilai pH, massa jenis, ORP TDS, salinitas, resistivitas dan konduktivitas semakin tinggi. Sedangkan semakin banyak penambahan pengawet alami maka nilai pH, massa jenis, ORP TDS, salinitas, resistivitas dan konduktivitas semakin rendah. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena pengawet alami merupakan minyak yang mudah teroksidasi.

Abstract

Juicy tuber [Pachyrhizuz Erosus L] is the one of holticultural product any location found in Indonesia. It has a typical texture and taste. Usually consumed in a fresh form or used as mixture in the making af canned fruit in food industry. Observing the minimal of the juicy tuber, it is necessary to develop the alternative of the juicy tuber root processing to have a new product with high economical value.This research was conducted to study the influence or effect of the slice thickness and frying time to ward several physical and organoleptical slice thickness and the optimum frying time in the making of the crispy chips of the juicy tuber by using vacuum frying. From this research it is expected to increase the economical value of the juicy tuber and produce the crispy chips product which prosses the physical and organoleptical characteristic accepted by consumer.The result of the physical and organoleptical characteristic test show, the favoristim level of panelist in color chipiness and taste feature of the crispy chips of the juicy tuber produced with the one mm thickness and the frying time averagely three minutes and percentage of moisture in the crispy chips 1,25 – 3,22 on dry weight basis.

Abstract

Senyawa kalkon merupakan senyawa bahan alam golongan flavonoid yang telah banyak dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas biologis yang beragam. Senyawa ini tersususn atas dua cincin aromatik yang diubungkan oleh suatu sistem karbonil α, β tak jenuh. Beberapa bioaktivitas senyawa kalkon yang diketahui diantaranya adalah antiinflamasi, antitumor, antioksidan dan antimikroba. Senyawa (E)-3-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-1-(3’-metoksifenil)prop-2-en-1-on disintesis menggunakan metoda iradiasi gelombang mikro dari bahan dasar 3,4-dimetoksibenzaldehid dan 3’- metoksiasetofenon dalam pelarut etanol absolut dengan banuan katalis basa berupa KOH. Analisis struktur senyawa yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektroskopi UV, FTIR, HRMS dan 1H-NMR. Rendemen senyawa yang diperoleh yaitu 76,60%. Hasil uji toksisitas menunjukkan potensi antikanker senyawa ini dengan nilai LC50 = 79,268 μg/mL.

Abstract

The risk of falling is possible for someone to fall which can cause physical injury that is generally caused by environmental and physiological factors that can result in injury. The incidence of the risk of falls that occurred in the Hospital Dr. M Djamil in 2015 as much as 0.5%. The incidence of the risk of falling inIndonesia in January to September 2012 amounted to 14%. The high likelihood that a patient runs the risk of falling is influenced by several factors, one of which factors from the patients own. The purpose of this study to find out what are the factors that greatly affect the safety of patients, especially in thedepartment of neurology ward. Dr. M Djamil Padang. This research was conducted in July-August 2016 for the department. Dr. M Djamil Padang. This research uses descriptive analytical method. The population in this study were nurses who are specifically in the department of Neurology ward. Dr. M Djamil Padang with a sample size of 16 people were taken by total sampling. Data collection tool is a questionnaire. Processing of data by editing, coding, data entry, and tabulating. Analysis of the data used univariate data analysis. The results of this study found that the factors that cause the risk of falls in patients include: more than half (75%) of respondents rate the organization and management of high factor, more than half (68.75%) of respondents valued the work environment factors, most of all (94%) of respondents rated high factor of the team, more than half (75%) of respondents rated higher personnel factor, less than half (37.5%) of respondents low duty factor, all (100%) of respondents rated high patient factors, and more than half (56.25%) of respondents low rate communication factor. For nurses who value high ratings may be influenced by the style of good leadership in taking any decision, the existence of good cooperation between the heads of the room with the nurse, and their examination environment around the patient. Researchers suggested that nurses still maintain good performance in carrying out its duties and researchers expect that number causes the risk of falling in the neurology ward, especially Hospital Dr. M Djamil Padang reduced.
