Abstract

One of the most widely used media for information dissemination is the website. A dynamic and informative website will make it easier for users to access information. Web development often requires complex technologies. One method that can simplify the development process is using the Flask framework, which offers flexibility and freedom to developers. A website must also have functionality to be useful; one current issue is the increasing number of malware file cases. Therefore, there is a need for a medium that can analyze a file. However, currently, there are limited services available for this purpose. This research aims to build a website that detects malware files using the Flask framework integrated with machine learning for malware file detection. Through this research, a website with five informative menus has been developed, featuring a dynamic and easily accessible interface with a malware file detection capability reaching 99% accuracy.

Abstract

One of the forms that indicates the consent of the patient or the patient's family in relation to the rights and obligations of patients in receiving health care in the hospital is a general consent form. General consent (GC) is a form of general consent that is always submitted to the patients or family before receiving road care and hospital nursing services. Along with rapid scientific and technological advances, the study aims to analyze the design of general consent forms and redesign conventional paper-based forms so that they can be converted into electronic forms. The data collection methods carried out by the authors used qualitative research with a descriptive approach by conducting observations, interviews, and library studies, while the system development methods used in this research used waterfalls. The results of this study are expected to improve and maximize the quality of hospital services.

Abstract

SEAMEO QITEP in Science (SEAQIS) has an important role in improving the competence of science educators and education personnel in Southeast Asia. Currently, project implementation in SEAQIS still uses manual methods, which results in a lack of transparency and effective control. To overcome this challenge, it is necessary to digitize the development a web-based system that can facilitate Human Resource Development (HRD), division heads, and Staf in managing, monitoring, and assessing these projects. This research aims to design the SEAQIS platform with a user experience approach using Design thinking methodology. Through this process, a high-fidelity Prototype was created and then Tested using usability testing. The Test results showed that the Prototype successfully met the user's needs, recording a usability score of 86. Thus, the designed SEAQIS Task Tracker website can improve the efficiency of SEAQIS employees' task management.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster that most often affects Indonesia. South Sumatra is one of the areas that experienced recurrent flooding from 2023 to 2024. Monitoring of water levels at a point is often lacking, so that during high rainfall, water often overflows and causes flooding. Uncontrolled water discharge due to heavy rainfall can cause flooding and impact the local community due to lack of information. To solve this problem, machine learning technology can be used as a flood detection and early warning tool. The SVR (Support Vector Regression) algorithm is one example. This research classifies flood status into three categories: "Safe, Alert, and Danger." The flood status prediction model is built using SVR (Support Vector Regression) integrated with a flood detection device consisting of Arduino Uno, NodeMCU, and two sensors, namely an ultrasonic sensor and a rainfall sensor, which are installed above 1 metre from the ground. The test results show that this device can detect flood status based on the water level. When the distance between the water surface and the sensor is 80-100 cm and the rainfall is 0-20 mm, the status is safe, if the water distance is 50-80 cm and the rainfall is 21-30 mm, the status is alert, while if the water distance is 0-50 cm and the rainfall is 31-100 mm, the status is dangerous. The flood status detected by this tool will then be sent via the Telegram application as a notification to facilitate effective flood monitoring.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is a humanitarian organisation established to help alleviate the suffering of others. PMI’s activies are synonymous with humanitarian activities, such as blood donation. Currently, the donor data input system is still done manually by entering data into a ledger and there is no reminder information system for donors. Based on the above problems, this research aims to design an information system for donors using whatsapp notifications appling the Rapid Application Development method. To test result of the data this study using blackbox and the data that has been entered has been in accordance with expectations.

Abstract

Online motorcycle taxi drivers often face the risk of account suspension due to violations of rules that are not always clear or understood by them. This ignorance can cause drivers to be unaware of actions that can lead to suspension, which can impact their income and reputation. To overcome this problem, this study proposes the use of the Multi-Objective Optimization based on Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method in detecting and providing early notification regarding potential suspension. The MOORA method is used to analyze various parameters related to violations, such as the frequency and type of violations, as well as the number of accumulated violation points. By processing this data, the developed system can predict the possibility of suspension and provide notification to the driver. The results of the application of the MOORA method show that this system is effective in providing accurate notifications and can help drivers avoid actions that have the potential to cause suspension. The application of this system has the potential to reduce the number of suspension cases and increase driver awareness of actions that must be avoided.

Abstract

Heart disease is a serious health issue that leads to high mortality risk worldwide. Contributing factors include high cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Therefore, early prediction of heart disease is a crucial initial step to reduce mortality risk. This paper proposes a new heart disease classification model based on the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to enhance disease detection performance. To improve diagnostic accuracy, we apply feature selection techniques and grid search. The performance of the enhanced model is validated by comparing it with a simple model using a confusion matrix. The enhanced model achieves an accuracy of 96.56%, showing an improvement of 8.91% over the previous model, which had an accuracy rate of only 87.65%. Additionally, the number of features used is reduced from 14 to 8, decreasing the computational load from 100% to about 32%. These results indicate that the enhanced SVM provides better and more efficient performance compared to other methods in heart disease classification

Abstract

Potatoes are one of the most popular snacks, especially in the food industry, where they are often processed into potato sticks. However, the production process for ready-to-eat potato sticks tends to be complex and requires significant time and labor. This research designs a potato stick cutting machine with an automatic cooking and seasoning system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to simplify the production process. The machine is integrated with an IoT network and equipped with an Android application for system monitoring. Microcontrollers act as the main controller, managing machine operations based on instructions from the Android application and sensors on the machine. The result of this research is the development of an intelligent machine that can produce potato sticks with guaranteed quality and consistency according to user preferences. This machine also improves production efficiency by reducing the time and labor required, and it provides ease of monitoring and controlling the production process remotely through the Android application, thereby significantly contributing to the modern food industry.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a violent act committed by someone against another person in an electronic media or the internet. The impact of cyberbullying is that it affects the victim's mentality, not a few victims of bullying end up committing suicide because they cannot stand the pressure of bullying. Korean Pop or better known as K-Pop is starting to dominate the Music Industry in Indonesia today. K-Pop can also be recognized by the emergence of K-Pop fan clubs on social media that provide all information about K-Pop artists to their fans. Indonesia is ranked 3rd with the most tweets about K-Pop. Sentiment analysis in Indonesian is a technique or method used to identify how a sentiment is expressed into a text and how a sentiment can be categorized as a positive or negative sentiment. The method used in this study is the Naïve Bayes Method. In the Naïve Bayes calculation process, the results of this study can be classified as positive, negative and neutral from the opinions of Twitter users.

Abstract

The hospital’s hospitalized patient food ordering service is an important component and process that is not separated from the patient’s healing process during the hospitalization treatment, which is to provide quality and fast food menu to achieve optimal nutrition status. Currently, the process of recording food orders and reporting data in the nutrition installation of Cengkareng Hospital is still done manually and not fully computerized, which has drawn criticism because it is considered slow in the process of managing food orders and reporting data. This research aimed to create an inpatient food ordering information system that could help medical staff and nutritionists in the food ordering process, increase time and energy efficiency, and provide accurate and real-time data reporting. This research method applied data collection methods through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The design method focuses on developing models using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) model such as Use case diagrams. Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams.  In software development, the method used is the waterfall method. This system was built using PHP programming language with SM framework and PostgreSQL database and testing using the black box method.
