Abstract

Mobile banking is evident in the improvement of business processes in the banking industry. Even so, the m-banking application cannot be separated from the problems experienced by its users. Therefore, further analysis is required. This research proposes a sentiment analysis technique using K-Nearest Neigbor (KNN) algorithm to identify user opinions and reviews of m-banking applications. Three popular m-banking apps were selected for further analysis namely BRImo, BSI Mobile, and Livin' by Mandiri. The analysis shows that BRImo is the most popular m-banking application, with a positive sentiment percentage of 58.25%, Livin' by Mandiri with 22.50%, and BSI Mobile with the lowest percentage of 12.70%. Modeling results using the KNN algorithm with K = 3, 5 and 7 test values show K = 3 has better capabilities. Based on the application, the best modeling is produced on BRImo with 82.9% accuracy, then Livin' by Mandiri with 70.3% accuracy, and BSI Mobile with 71.35% accuracy. Analysis and visualization were also conducted using word clouds to see keywords that are often discussed in reviews. As a result, m-banking apps have problems with difficult login, complicated registration or verification, and balance deduction despite failed transfer status.

Abstract

This research introduces an innovative solution, an Estate Management System, tailored for Griya Gardenia Indah, a subsidiary of Cipta Harmoni Lestari. Facing multifaceted challenges in estate management, this study aims to develop a centralized and intuitive web application utilizing modern technologies such as Vue.js, Strapi, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. The system targets streamlined estate processes, improved data accessibility, and efficient communication channels between administrators and residents across four real estate projects. By employing an iterative development approach, stakeholder engagement, and rigorous testing, this research aims to transform estate management practices, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate resident satisfaction. The study navigates through an organization profile, literature review, methodology, results, and recommendations, culminating in a comprehensive solution poised to revolutionize estate administration practices at Griya Gardenia Indah.

Abstract

The human need for communication and information drives the rapid progress of communication and information facilities. The development of information technology in the current era of globalization is accelerating the progress of learning media. The use of information and communication technology as a learning medium has become a necessity. This research was conducted at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University (UIN) Suska Riau which is located in Panam, Jl. HR. Soebrantas KM 15, Simpang Baru. The number of respondents in this study was 100 people. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that calculations using the service quality method produce five attribute statements with five internet quality dimensions. From the results obtained, these five dimensions have not been able to satisfy students because the quality value of each dimension is smaller than 1 (Q ≤ 1). Therefore, improvements are needed by the campus as a recommendation to improve internet quality.

Abstract

The rapid development of websites has made them one of the most important modern information media. However, this growth has also highlighted the critical need for robust website security to protect the data and information they contain. The website dobelhost.com was analyzed for security vulnerabilities, revealing several issues, including the absence of the X-Frame-Options header, the lack of an HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) policy, the disclosure of server information through the X-Powered-By header, the absence of a Content Security Policy (CSP) to guard against XSS attacks, and the presence of mixed content. To address these vulnerabilities, the study employed a comprehensive method involving information gathering, implementing security headers, updating software and plugins, and enforcing HTTPS. The results demonstrated significant improvement, effectively resolving the identified vulnerabilities. This research provides a useful reference for the development or enhancement of similar websites, increasing awareness and vigilance against potential threats, and achieving better cyber resilience. The research has been completed successfully, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method in resolving the identified security issues.

Abstract

Stunting has become a widely discussed health issue in Indonesia, par-ticularly in Samarinda City, which recorded a prevalence of 12.7% in 2023, making it the highest in East Kalimantan Province. The use of data mining techniques becomes crucial in overcoming the challenges of high dimensional data, such as computational complexity, the risk of overfitting, and visualization difficulties. This study aims to enhance the accuracy of Support Vector Machine optimization models using Grid Search and Backward Elimination feature selection (SVM-GSBE) to handle high-dimensional data related to stunting in Samarinda City. The dataset used is sourced from Samarinda City Health Office in 2023, covering 26 community health centers with 21 attributes and a total of 150,466 records. The research methodology includes data collection, pre-processing, data partitioning using K-Fold Cross Validation, feature selection using Backward Elimination, and SVM model optimization with Grid Search. Features such as BB/U, ZS TB/U, ZS BB/U, ZS BB/TB, Height, and LiLA have proven to increase accuracy in stunting data classification. Evaluation results show that Grid Search successfully increased accuracy for Linear from 99.59% to 99.78%, Polynomial from 90.92% to 99.40%, RBF from 89.80% to 98.36%, and Sigmoid from 75.29% to 86.84%. This indicates that the SVM-GSBE model can effectively be used as a tool for early detection of stunting and to support health policies in Samarinda City.

Abstract

Floods are a natural phenomenon that frequently occurs in Indonesia, including in Samarinda City which has faced flood issues over the past three years, affecting thousands of homes and around 27,000 residents. Predicting flood disasters requires machine learning technology using data mining classification methods. However, classification processes often encounter issues related to high-dimensional data, which can lead to overfitting and class imbalance, thereby biasing dominant classes while neglecting minority classes. This research aims to enhance classification accuracy in Samarinda City's flood data using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm combined with Relief feature selection and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) optimization. The validation method employed is 10-fold cross-validation, with performance evaluation using a confusion matrix. Data sourced from Samarinda City's Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) spans from 2021 to 2023, comprising 19 features and a total of 1095 records. Relief feature selection identified four crucial features: maximum wind direction, wind speed, average wind speed, and maximum wind speed direction. Average evaluations with k values of 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, and 15 demonstrate that Relief feature selection and PSO optimization effectively enhance accuracy in the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm for flood data, with KNN and PSO yielding improvements of 2-5%. Relief feature selection alone improves accuracy by 1-2%, while combining Relief with PSO provides a 2-5% enhancement. The combined KNN, Relief, PSO model is expected to deliver optimal performance in classifying Samarinda City's flood data.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster that frequently affects our country. Samarinda City, in particular, continues to experience frequent flooding events with 18 incidents in 2018, 33 incidents in 2020, and 32 incidents in 2021. To predict flood disasters, it is necessary to utilize technology known as machine learning for analyzing and classifying floods. However, classification often encounters issues with high-dimensional data and class imbalance. This study aims to determine the extent to which the accuracy of flood disaster classification improves by using the Random Forest algorithm with PSO for optimization, Chi-Square feature selection, and SMOTE oversampling to balance classes. The data used in this study comprises flood data from 2021-2023 obtained from BMKG and BPBD Samarinda City, with a total of 1095 records and 11 attributes. The validation technique used is 5-fold cross-validation, and the evaluation uses a confusion matrix. The results of the Chi-Square feature selection identified Rainfall, Maximum Wind Direction, Most Frequent Wind Direction, Humidity, Sunshine Duration, and Wind Speed as the most influential features based on Chi-Square scores and P-values. The average accuracy obtained from the proposed classification model using 5-fold cross-validation reached 96.02%.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought about a significant increase in the number of people connected to and using the internet. However, this phenomenon also poses serious risks regarding the security of valuable information such as passwords, financial information, and other sensitive data, making them attractive targets for attackers. Attacks on this infrastructure not only have the potential to cause data breaches but also significant financial impacts and even threats to lives. Protecting oneself from these threats, and considering the crucial role of humans in the technology ecosystem, emphasizes the importance of enhancing cybersecurity awareness. This study aims to explore the awareness levels of mobile banking users regarding cybercrime threats, involving the participation of 403 respondents. Questionnaire data processing results showed that 51% of the total respondents have experienced cybercrime attempts, and 21% have been victims. Respondents' awareness levels varied between 3.49 and 4.05 on a Likert scale (1-5). Several factors significantly influence respondents' awareness levels, such as age, occupation, personal experience as a victim of cybercrime attempts, and interactions between variables.

Abstract

Game development is often considered to be a vague topic. With many beginner programmers interested in independent game development as an occupation, one must find out where should they start. Determining a first game engine could be a difficult choice for someone, and many beginner programmers hoped that their skills and early experiences could be utilized in the game development environment. Many comparisons do not detail what makes one game engine more difficult to learn than the other, and would only present vague terms such as because one engine can create a more complex game, yet it does not state how that would affect a game engine’s learning curve. Research must be conducted to clear out this vagueness. Inside a game is basically a series of objects interacting with one another. Therefore, it should not be a problem when a developer switches between game engines, and yet these developers could have a faster development time when using a different engine. The result of this research is to determine how that difference is possible by comparing the developmental process of two different game engines (gamemaker and Godot) and determine which one is objectively better than the other in specific terms.

Abstract

Communication technology continues to develop rapidly, now 4G has become a network standard used in various countries. 4G networks offer higher data speeds, lower latency, and greater capacity compared to previous networks. Now, we can exchange information and establish relationships with others without having to meet in person. However, in remote areas and areas with limited networks, there are still problems in using these celluler phones that are poorly understood by people living in remote areas or areas that are not covered by celluler phone networks. For example, the use of very simple cellular phone facilities such as Short Message Service (SMS). OpenBTS is a new part of BTS technology that is very economical both in terms of funds and resources because openBTS is based on opensource software so that it is easily available and anyone can implement this openBTS, and can provide services to communicate such as Short Message Service (SMS) or short messages and can be used as a substitute for telephone facilities in the event of signal interference. For this reason, in this study, the implementation of services for short messages using the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) B210 device on 4G-based 3GPP communication standards. The hardware used is USRP B210.
