The utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in language learning has been an important and interesting topic both among students and also teachers. there are some suggestions about what to prepare and what activities that can be conducted by teachers in the classroom, especially for teaching-learning of English language that can be applied for all subject. The use of ICT will not only improve teacher's skill, but it will also make teachers more creative in preparing the material that will be transferred to the students.

The aims of this research are to find out whether the implementation of NoteTaking Pairs technique effective in teaching reading comprehension at junior high school. The method used in the research is quantitative method and the design is quasi experimental design. The sampling technique used in this research was random sampling. Two classes were taken as the subject namely experimental and control class. The data of test got from both experimental and control class was analyzed by T test formula. The result of calculation showed that t was 6.58, and t with df 75 in account table the significant degree of 5% is 1.992. It means that t is higher than t (6.58 > account table 1.992). The average of post-test in the experimental class was 81, while the KKM of English subject is 75. It can be concluded that Note-Taking Pairs Technique is effective in teaching reading comprehension at junior high school.

The aim of this research is to describe in the teacher’s role as facilitator in teaching writing in the classroom. This research is qualitative approach by analysis teacher’s role as facilitator thought the data that have been collected from the student’s and the teacher’s. the technique of collecting data that used by the writer are observation in teacher’s role as facilitator, observation sheet, interview, video recording, and the result of observation. To know the kinds of teacher role as facilitator did teaching writing in the classroom. And the writer analysis teacher’s role in teaching writing in classroom by observation sheet giving mark on it and writer the correct it, until gets the result did. Then, the writer takes the conclusion of teacher’s role as facilitator and teacher interview to appropriate the teacher role in teaching writing in the classroom. This research find come that all of teacher role. Based on the result from interview the lecturer, the teacher as facilitator was applied the teacher.

This research aims at finding out the use of Barron’s TOEIC strategy to improve the reading skill of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011.The objectives of the research were to find out whether or not the use of Barron’s TOEIC preparation course package significantly improves the reading ability of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011.The research used quasi experimental research design. The samples consisted of 50 students which belonged to two groups; experimental group and control group. The research data were collected using the reading test which was given to the both groups. The research results indicated that the use of Barron’s TOEIC strategy did not significantly improve the reading ability of the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri Tinambung academic year 2010/2011. The results of posttest of both groups were improved, but the use of Barron’s TOEICstrategy gave better progress than handbook of vocational school namely English in Progress Business & Management for SMK Year XI: TOEIC based Activities, By Munash F. Anwar. It was proved by the mean score of posttest of the experimental group was higher than the control group in reading (85.40 > 79.20).

This research is designed to analyze students’ error on essay writing organization. The writers focus on the one category of error identifications that is organization. By conducting this research, the writers hope some development of students’ ability in arranging essay. By analazing the erros, students get feed back to develop their ability. This study was conducted descriptively and qualitatively in nature. It is designed to identify and to describe kinds of errors is made by the student in essay writing organization in the EFL classroom. To achieve the goal, the writers describe in detail all the data taken from the students’ works and interpreted to make an empirical generalization. This research was conducted in second grade of English department in one of the university in Cirebon. The writers use purposive random sampling. The result of findings show that 16 students stand in scale 3 which is equal with 64 %. Then, 7 students stand in scale 4 which is equal with 28 %. And the last, 2 students stand in scale 2 which is equal with 8 %. So that, the writer concluded that the students of second grade of UNSWAGATI Cirebon are adequate to fair on essay writing organization.

Humors are often used in a communication process. It is usually use as medium for conveying mesages as well as themselves in more objective ways. Since humors contain some specific messages, most of them usually break the rule of Maxim created by Grice. This article highlights the maxim broke by humors.

This study is about student teachers' basic teaching skills especially in delivering gaining attention, presenting stimulus materials, and assessing performance. The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not student teachers' skill in gaining attention, presenting stimulus materials, and assessing performance was developed during their teaching practice period. To achieve the first purpose, the data were collected through observations and interviews. The observation was conducted during student teachers' teaching-learning sessions. The interview was conducted to support the data from interview. The source for interview was student teachers' mentor teachers. The result of this study was that two of four student teachers had developed their teaching skills in gaining attention while the other two did not develop their skills. This study has showed that besides students' ability, willingness, and support from mentor teachers abd peers are needed to develop their teaching skills.

Speaking is one of skills which should be mastered by students in studying English. However in Indonesian school hours the chance to practice speaking is limited. One way to obtain more practices to speak outside of school hours is by joining English club extracurricular program. English club as an English extracurricular program in state Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan Mandirancan gives chance to students to speak in more flexible condition with their peers. Thus, it is interesting to investigate the impact students perception on English club extracurricular toward students‟ speaking skill. The 26 students joined English club extracurricular as the sample. The techniques used obtaining the data were observation, questionnaire and speaking test. It is suggested that the students should joined English club extracurricular because it can improve students‟ speaking skill.

Students’ attitude towards technology use in classroom context is regarded as one of significant elements of the success of ICT integration in teaching and learning context. While the integration of technology in education and its elements have been discussed in literature, the discussion of students’ attitude to such integration in an English matriculation program for university students is still limited. This paper attempted to investigate college non-English major students’ attitude towards the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in an English matriculation program. The data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 74 students at Duta Wacana Christian University who attended an English matriculation program. The questionnaire employed a 5-point Likert type scale and consisted of three different sections which made of 33 questions in total. The data were quantitatively analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. An analysis of relationships between students’ attitude to technology in learning English and their gender, age, and program was analyzed using Pearson Product-Moment correlations. Multiple linear regression was also employed to develop statistical model for this study. The findings of this study provided further discussion on the integration of technology in classroom contexts and indicated students’ positive attitude towards the use of ICT in teaching and learning process. This research studied about classroom management problems faced by pre-service teacher. Pre-service teacher is student teachers before they have under taken any teaching. Before they are graudate, they have to accomplish teacher training subject. When they come to schools to teach students, they find so many new things, such as; the real instructional devices, students’s characters of senior high school, students’ responses in learning process. In this study, the writer investigated the students’ responses in learning process, and it become challanging for pre-service teacher to solve bed students’ responses. There are some classroom mangement problems that pre-service teacher faced, they are: students always lots of students played mobile phone, been lazy, had chat, been passive students during learning process.
