Abstract

The purpose of this study is to establish the level of public understanding on the use of Sharia economic transaction contracts to improve people's welfare on a regular basis. Purposive sample of 58 respondents was utilized in this quantitative descriptive study. Multiple regression analysis is used in the study approach, with SPSS 23.00 as a data analysis test tool. In this study, observations, questionnaires, and interviews were the primary data collection methods. Secondary data is provided by the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Religion. According to the findings of this study, many types of Islamic economic transaction contracts have had a significant impact on the degree of social welfare thus far, indicating that society is becoming increasingly massive with the principles of Murabahah, Salam, Ijarah, and Mudharabah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of e-service quality on E-WOM through the mediating variable of e-satisfaction among Linkaja Syariah users in Malang City. Because the use of Linkaja Syariah in Malang City is very popular, researchers are interested in conducting a study on electronic services and Linkaja Syariah user satisfaction that can affect digital marketing. This study uses a quantitative method and data processing is done using Smartpls 0.4 with 170 respondents. The results of the study indicate that e-service quality has a significant positive influence on E-WOM, and also has a significant positive influence on e-satisfaction. E-satisfaction also has a significant positive influence on E-WOM, so it can be said that e-satisfaction is a mediating variable between e-service quality and E-WOM.

Abstract

Pilgrimage to the tombs of saints is considered important for some Muslims. The tombs of saints in Java Island have now become tourist destinations to preserve cultural heritage and religious-based tourism, including the tomb of Sunan Ampel in Surabaya. This article aims to examine the content of the text through a qualitative and interdisciplinary approach, explaining the dimensions and strategies for developing pilgrimage tourism at the tomb of Sunan Ampel. The research results show that there are various types of sacred places, such as the tombs of the Wali Sanga, tombs of religious figures, and mosques left by the saints. Pilgrimage tourism at the tomb of Sunan Ampel has spiritual, social, cultural, and environmental components that require comprehensive planning and design, as well as a specific perspective to develop the tomb site, including the arrangement of food and souvenir sales areas, the conditions of the local community, cultural and social contexts, pilgrimage rituals and traditions, the needs of pilgrims, functional infrastructure, tourism, and services.

Abstract

Islamic economics is a distinctive discipline rooted in Islamic principles from the Qur'an and Hadith, offering diverse perspectives on economic phenomena. Islamic economists emphasize the application of Sharia principles and integrate ethical values and social justice into economic activities. This research focuses on the contributions of prominent scholars, Muhammad Abdul Mannan and Monzer Kahf, to contemporary Islamic economic thought. Employing a literature review approach, we analyze their works to explore similarities and differences in their interpretations of Islamic economic principles. The study aims to identify key areas of agreement and divergence in their perspectives, including profit-and-loss sharing, Islamic banking, poverty alleviation, and Islamic business ethics. Ultimately, the research seeks to shed light on the profound influence of Mannan and Kahf, fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic economics in today's global context.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the methods and strategies employed by Bank Syariah Indonesia to mitigate and minimize banking risks, particularly financing risks, in its business operations. This study utilizes a literature review methodology, collecting references from previous research and examining various journals to review the banking risk mitigation strategies. Bank Syariah Indonesia is a financial institution and a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) that operates based on Sharia principles. In the course of its business activities, the bank faces potential risks. Therefore, Bank Syariah Indonesia must be able to mitigate the occurrence of risks, especially in financing products. To mitigate risks, Bank Syariah Indonesia implements strategies such as evaluating prospective customers using the 7 P approach and assessing their financial capabilities through the Debt Service Ratio (DSR) and Debt Burden Ratio (DBR).

Abstract

Islamic philanthropy has an important role in alleviating poverty with a system of empowering the people's economy. The purpose of this study is to determine the economic empowerment of the people based on Islamic philanthropy. This study uses a type of qualitative research with an explanatory approach. Data collection uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses interactive descriptive, where data obtained from the field is reduced, displayed and verified. The findings in this study are that the independent business group program carried out by YDSF has been able to increase people's income, so that they can reach the stage of prosperity. The business capital that is distributed comes from Islamic philanthropy which is empowered in productive activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which marketing strategy and the effectiveness of products and services contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Bank Syariah Indonesia. The research method employed in this study is quantitative research. The research subjects are productive individuals in Jambi City, with a total of 100 respondents. Based on the results of the T-test and F-test for the variables (X1) marketing strategy and (X2) effectiveness of products and services, a significant value of 0.000 < 0.005 was obtained. Therefore, it can be concluded that both the marketing strategy (X1) and the effectiveness of products and services (X2) jointly influence the competitiveness of Bank Syariah Indonesia. The results of the adjusted R2 test in this study yielded an adjusted R2 value of 0.723. This indicates that in enhancing the competitiveness of Bank Syariah Indonesia, marketing strategy, product effectiveness, and services account for 72.3% of the influence, while the remaining 27.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to examine a number of variables that can affect profitability growth, such as institutional ownership as a moderating component, green banking, and capital sufficiency. The study is a quantitative one that gathers secondary data from 11 Indonesian public Sharia banks' financial reports for the years 2018 to 2022. Panel data regression analysis is the method employed, and Excel and Eviews 12 are used as test tools. The study's findings indicate that all free variables have a limited interdependence. Modernizations like institutional ownership and green banking have no detrimental effects on profitability growth. The accessibility of capital and the institutional ownership that modernizes it have a profoundly positive impact on profitability growth.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to investigate the level of knowledge of Islamic finance among small businesses and its impact on Islamic financial inclusion. The study adopts an explanatory research design and employs a quantitative approach. A total of 193 small business owners in Malang City, UK, participated as respondents in the study. The sampling technique used was side proportional random sampling with a 95% confidence level. The collected data were analyzed using linear regression analysis.The findings of the study reveal that there is a significant positive relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. Moreover, the study also highlights the significant influence of Islamic financial inclusion on the performance of small businesses in Malang City. These results align with previous research and provide valuable implications and directions for future studies in this field.

Abstract

The potential of stock endowment in Indonesia for Islamic economic development holds great promise, especially given the majority Muslim population. This potential can be optimized to enhance the impact of stock endowment. This research aims to explore the utilization of stock endowment as a catalyst for Islamic economic growth, evaluate effective management strategies for stock endowment, and assess its potential in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, this study involves a literature review through metasynthesis. The findings indicate a significant potential for stock endowment in Indonesia, with investors continuously increasing. These funds could play a crucial role in addressing economic challenges within the principles of Islam, including education, healthcare, economic initiatives, and infrastructure development, if allocated optimally and comprehensively.
