Abstract

Gastronomic drinks are one of the local cultures that have an important role in the development of the tourism world, one of which is Arak Bali. Various products of Arak Bali infused began to be developed to enrich the flavor. One of the potential ingredients to increase scent and flavor is pineapple. This study was conducted to determine the most popular formulation and the alcohol content of Pineapple Infused Arak Bali as a new safe gastronomic drink in accordance with government regulations. The type of research used True experimental with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sample used was pineapple infused Arak Bali that was formulated into 5 concentration variations. Furthermore, the alcohol content analysis was carried out using Gas Chromatography method. Sample F4 was selected based on organoleptic tests from 30 panelists as the most popular formula. Analysis of alcohol content showed that both samples were negative for methanol while the ethanol content in FD (34.22%) was classified as group C liquor and FU (18.08%) was classified as group B in accordance with government regulations.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that occurs in toddlers, defined based on height for age (TB/U) which is less than two negative standard deviations or a toddler's height is shorter than it should be. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in toddlers, characterized by a shorter height than the height of children his age. Bulungan Regency is one of 160 urban regencies in Indonesia that is intervened to focus on reducing stunting. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the cluster of stunting vulnerabilities in Bulungan Regency. The method used is Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). The results of this study are that the area in cluster 1 has a high level of vulnerability because it has the lowest level of adequacy of posyandu (active) and high incidence of LBW in infants, cluster 2 has a moderate level of vulnerability because it has an adequate level of puskesmas, adequacy of posyandu (active), the adequacy of doctors, the adequacy of nutritionists, the adequacy of midwives, the percentage of moderate LBW, and cluster 3 have a low level of vulnerability because they have a low average percentage of LBW and a high level of adequacy of posyandu (active) in the area.

Abstract

Organization maturity level is rarely considered when adopted a new technology. Aim of this study is to find the role of organization maturity level in order to improve the information system (IS) capability through ERP implementation approach. There are four variables involved on this study, namely: ERP drives Business Process Reengineering (BPR) (X1), BPR drives ERP (X2) as independent variables, organization maturity level (Y) as a moderating variable, and IS capability (Y1) as a dependent variable. We applied the path analysis to identify direct and indirect effect between ERP implementation approach and IS capability through organization maturity level. There are 277 key individuals from 37 different organization which is represented 10 industrial sectors responded to the questionnaires. The response rate for this survey research is 39.57% from 700 questionnaires which were distributed. Survey result shows that organization maturity level has a major role which can improve to better IS capability in organization. It is shown that a direct effect between X1 and Y1 (ρY1X1=0.331) is lower than an indirect effect between X1 and Y1 through Y (ρYX1 and ρYY1 = 0.369). Whereas, direct effect between X2 and Y1 (ρY1X2=0.096) is lower than indirect effect between X2 and Y1 through Y (ρYX2 and ρYY1 = 0.233). It can be concluded that the organization has to put a more effort on organization maturity level in order to gain a better IS capability, especially when it uses BPR drives ERP approach to implement the ERP system.

Abstract

Chemical education laboratories have a higher risk of work accidents than laboratories for industrial activities. Many work accidents occur in chemical laboratories. Two factors that cause work accidents are unsafe behavior and unsafe conditions. Occupational safety and health in the laboratory are crucial to creating a comfortable, safe work environment to prevent or minimize workplace accidents. This study aims to produce a handbook of occupational safety and health in chemical laboratories as a guiding supplement for chemistry practicum to create occupational safety and health in chemical laboratories. This research is a research and development (r&d) with a 4-d development model consisting of 4 main stages: define, design, develop and disseminate. Research is limited to the development stage, which ends with a practicality test. Based on expert judgment, it was found that the occupational safety and health handbook in the chemical laboratory are very valid in terms of content (3.9), language (4.0), and media (4.0), from a maximum score of 4. From the readability test, all respondents obtained students understand the content or information presented in the chemical laboratory's occupational health and safety handbook. Furthermore, through the practicality test, it was obtained that lecturers, laboratory assistants, and students gave an assessment that the occupational safety and health handbook in the chemical laboratory each scored 4.0 and 3.9, which means it is very practical. This research concludes that the chemical laboratory's occupational safety and health guidebook as a guiding supplement for chemistry practicum is valid to be implemented from the aspect of content, language, media, and readability and is very practical in its use.

Abstract

The problem of research is the low understanding of students in the subject of hair trimming and coloring which has an impact on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to develop an e-book-based learning media on the subject matter of double application hair coloring at SMK. This type of research is research and development using a 4-D model. The population of this research is the students of class XI KC II SMK totaling 32 people. The data collection technique used a validity and practicality questionnaire. The data analysis technique is by calculating the score of the e-book media assessment from the questionnaire given and categorized according to the interpretation obtained. The results of the media validation study were 0.89 (very valid category) and 0.82 material validation (very valid category). The results of the practicality of student responses were 86.07% (very practical category) and from the teacher's response of 87.2 (very practical category). E-book-based learning can be said to be valid and practical to be used as teaching materials in the classroom on hair trimming and coloring subjects to improve student learning outcomes.
