Abstract

The reason for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is to sustain the preservation of planet and prosperity of society. Thus, it is necessary for corporations to have a reliable, relevant and standardized sustainability supply chain management (SSCM) reporting practice. Companies’ proper disclosure of its supply chain management information will enable stakeholders to evaluate the firm’s supply chain management performance efficiently. Using content analysis, this study proposes a development of a comprehensive SSCM disclosure checklist i.e., Supply Chain Management Sustainability Index (SCMsi). SSCM is an all-inclusive view of supply chain processes, logistics and technologies that considers the environmental, social, economic and legal aspects of a supply chain's components. It will become a benchmark in the reporting of SSCM indicators, besides acting as monitoring mechanism to measure listed companies in advancing sustainable development agenda. This paper will be useful for organization in identifying ideal criteria of SCMsi that will contribute towards the best practices of supply chain management.

Abstract

This study aims to review supply chain risks and construct a model of supply chain performance for Thai cassava chip exports to China to test the relationship between supply chain risks and supply chain performance. The primary theoretical model was constructed from four main supply chain risk factors, product risks, demand-side risks, logistical and infrastructural risks, and political risks, and five main supply chain performance variables, dependability, speed, qualities, information and response, adapted from [1] and S.M. [2]. Questionnaires were distributed to 46 Thai cassava chip exporters and stakeholders and analyzed using the PLS-SEM algorithm. With confidence intervals of 95%, demand-side risks and political risks impact supply chain performance. The Thai government and Thai entrepreneurs can analyze the results of possible risk factors to develop a supply chain for the Thai cassava chip industry.

Abstract

In modern conditions Ukraine has a steady trend of high mortality rates caused by the low level of health care quality. In this regard, it becomes relevant to develop scientific approaches to improving the efficiency of administrative and legal regulation of the health service in the country. The article substantiates the main factors of the efficiency of the administrative and legal regulation of health care in Western Europe. The current state of the health service in Ukraine was analyzed. The key factors of the critical health care state in the country are identified. The expert evaluation technique was used to assess the efficiency of medical reform in Ukraine and to justify the main directions for improving the legal regulation of the health care service, taking into account the efficiency factors applied in Western Europe. A system of recommendations was developed for improving the legal framework of health care in Ukraine. The research results are practical in nature and will become the basis for the implementation of Ukraine’s European desire to strengthen the health care system and its potential, increase its safety and protect public health as a prerequisite for sustainable development and economic growth.

Abstract

Facing uncertain environment, the cultivation of agility is approached as a strategic ability that assists organizations rapidly to sense and respond internal and external uncertainties via effective collaboration of supply chain relationships. The objective of the study is to uncover how organizational antecedent, supply chain collaboration (SCC) and organizational competency, supply chain flexibility (SCF), aimed at augmenting the supply chain agility (SCA) of firms. To take advantage of available market opportunities, firms would see the supply chain that are flexible will outperform those are less agile. Thus, SCF has emerged as a vital management strategy to strengthen the relationship between SCC and SCA as firms will be more flexible and responsive to an unpredictable environment and cope with ever changing customers requirements. In this paper, an attempt is made to present a conceptual model of the organizational antecedents that affect the agility of supply chain in the context of small and medium manufacturing firms.

Abstract

Abstract-The progress of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires that learning systems in schools must be developed by considering the supply chain. Since June 2006 the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School has been developing an education system based on the supply chain strategy. In this development, the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School begins with a religious-based education or theology that prioritizes manners in supply chain. In this case, we analyzed learning success factors based on Law Auguste Comte as the objective in this study. The study aimed to investigate the relationship between anticipation ability, supply chain, ability to accommodate and integration of education system with the mediation effect of self-organizing skills. In addition, a collaboration of 3 countries was also carried out to seek integration of schools in developed countries such as Japan and Turkey as a reinforcing factor for the success of the education system for the millennial generation in socializing. The results of the study provide very strong information and compatibility in the success of student learning, attitudes, and behavior as a millennial generation in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The most dominant success factor in learning success based on the results of school integration in Japan, Turkey, and the TebuirengPesantren is the respect for others based on the formation of good characters, such as tolerance, respect, polite in speaking, and polite in acting. Besides, learning models such as Innovative learning are the most suitable models in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, because at this time almost all learning is based on the Internet of Things (IoT) as a very good learning media.KemajuanScience, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) pada Era RevolusiIndustri 4.0.

Abstract

The authors used prospective estimates of revenue and expenses for ordinary activities, obtained on the basis of a multiplicative trend-seasonal model to predict the profit of an agricultural enterprise. The study draws attention to the fact that the classical decomposition of the trend-seasonal model into trend, seasonal and random components is possible and convenient for forecasting the financial performance of an agricultural enterprise that has seasonality in crop and livestock production.  The forecast estimates presented in the article confirmed the main hypothesis of the study – in the presence of objective seasonal fluctuations for the agricultural enterprise, there is a tendency of growth in sales revenue while reducing costs for conventional activities. This will be possible due to the uniform production, efficient use of fixed assets, elimination of loss of working time. However, it is necessary to take into account that the agricultural sector depends on climatic conditions, and there is a risk of losses during harvesting, storage of crops – all this leads to additional costs that reduce the profits of the organization. The quality of the obtained predictive estimates is verified by the ratio of the sum of squares of absolute errors and the total sum of squares of deviations of the actual levels of the predicted value. The results of the empirical estimates confirmed the feasibility of practical use of the multiplicative trend-seasonal model, based on the classical decomposition to predict the financial performance of the agricultural enterprise.
