Vendor managed inventory (VMI) is an illustration of effective partnering and collaboration practices between upstream and downstream points in a supply chain. VMI policy is an integrating decision between a supplier and the customers in which the supplier takes the accountability of sustaining the customers’ inventory while confirming that no stock-out. The supplier indicates when each delivery time takes place, so that the customers are no longer responses to the customers' orders. Under the VMI system, the planning is proactive as it is based on the available information rather than reactive to customers' orders. Consequently, in this paper, we expected that the demand at the construction sites are constant and stationary, and the construction consolidation centre (CCC) is implementing a VMI system. The concentration of this paper is to minimize the transportation and inventory holding costs of the customers for a two-stage supply chain system in the construction industry. The problem is to identify what is the delivery quantities to the construction sites, what is delivery times and which routes should be used to deliver products to the customers at the construction site for the single-period deterministic inventory routing problem (SP-DIRP) in the construction sector. Furthermore, realistic side-constraints such as driving time restrictions, storage capacities constraints and constant replacement intervals are considered. Results of a simplified real-life case implementing the proposed linear mixed-integer program are shown and discussed in detail.

The issues of fiscal policy dependency, vulnerabilities of domestic economy, frail financial uphold, and small fiscal multiplier motivated this study to examine the relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth in ASEAN-5 for the period of 1970–2016. Based on the nature of the data, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach has used. The results reveals that fiscal policy instrument namely government expenditure is statistically significant in ASEAN-5 economies except for Indonesia. Results also shows that implementation of non-tax in the long run results in expenditure being significant in ASEAN-5 except in Indonesia; tax and non-tax are significant in the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore; and debt is significant in Indonesia and Thailand. The policy contributes to the Philippines and Thailand to increase the rate of non-tax in support of the growing expenditure. Results in case of Singapore highly recommends increasing the rate of tax and non-tax to decline its accrued debt. Government authorities should be transparent to ensure growth stability through prudent and effective policy in aggregate demand using the fiscal instrument in ASEAN economies.

Abstract- The development of the Russian model of the labor market and its individual elements and supply chain strategy is described by a number of Russian and foreign scholars. Its main meaning is in the weak sensitivity of quantitative indicators of employment and unemployment to the dynamics of production, and over-adaptability and extreme wage flexibility. The Republic of Tatarstan has a fairly high level of employment, which conceals a significant heterogeneity of jobs. One consequence of this is the high poverty of educated people with jobs. Despite the fact that the Russian labor legislation prescribes a kind of “standard†of employment, involving a permanent employment contract and full-time work, market reforms significantly diversifiedtypes of employment. Formally, deviations from the prescribed standard are allowed only in special cases that are listed in the legislation. However, in a short time, various deviations from both the “standard†itself and the list of allowed exceptions became spread in the labor market in the Republic of Tatarstan. This led to the emergence of atypical forms of employment: unofficial, part-time, overtime, temporary. Such forms of employment facilitate a real adjustment of the supply and demand in the Tatarstan labor market. The paperconsiders the approaches to a comprehensive economic and statistical analysis of employment and unemployment in the Republic of Tatarstan in the conditions of their diversification in the new economic order.

Electronic banking as a financial supply chain system has gone a long way to revolutionize banking services as contemporary customers of banking organizations have largely moved from brick and mortal banking to digital platform. However, trust remains an important underlying factor that makes users from developing countries to be wary of the way they adopt this novel technology banking system. The significant objective of this study therefore centres on how to improve trust using extended technology acceptance model (e-TAM) by incorporating perceived security and e-trust with perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use to predict adoption of e-banking. Previous studies have paid meagre attention to this area, especially in a developing context. The data of the study were collected from 266 customers while the responses obtained were analysed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling. The findings show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease use predicted e-trust and e-banking adoption. Perceived security also predicted e-banking adoption but failed to predict e-trust. E-trust mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and e-banking adoption. However similar mediating effect was not found between perceived security and e-banking adoption. The implications of the study were presented.

The supply chain management as the general tool can be used for supporting and delivering the goods to the villages. The village head is the leader of the village government. The tenure of the village head is 6 years, and can be extended for another one term is expected to run the government with a good performance in providing services to the community. So with the proper use of the supply chain the needs of the villages can be provide by the government. The Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method can help decision making in determining the performance index of the village head. This research is conduct by looking for the performance of positive and negative ideal solutions. Applications with the highest V value will occupy the top size in this system. Then the criteria in determining the performance index of the head of the village are: timeliness, discipline, responsibility, leadership, presence, value. The results of the decision-making system resulted in 6 alternative suggested performance indexes of village heads, with the highest score of Sending Agung Village.

Indonesia is viewed as one of the biggest exporters and producer of foods and also plays an essential role in the development of Indonesia economy. Nevertheless, food industry provides help to the country to generate high level of income. To effect the performance of food industry, there are lot of factors. For this purpose, it is intensively challenging to choose that factor which effects more in the performance of food industry that could lead to a negative or the positive impact on another factor. Therefore, objective of the study is to explore the moderating effect of the information sharing on the relationship of supply chain management (SCM) capabilities and business performance (BP) of Indonesia food industry. Using cross sectional research design, 500 questionnaires were distributed among the supply chain managers of food industry by using a judgmental sampling technique which yield a 40% response rate. The data was analyzed by the Structural Equation Modeling technique. The key findings of the study have shown that SCM capabilities have positive and significant association with the BP. Similarly, it was also shown that information sharing significantly moderates within two components of SCM namely, strategic sourcing, technology capability and BP. Whereas has insignificant moderating effect on the relationship of logistic integration commitment and BP. Hence, current study contributed some theoretical implications in the existing body of literature. The study limitations and future directions are also being discussed.

Over the decade, the level of risk management has always been lingering in every construction industry sectors. Therefore, this research deeply investigated the level of risk management among Kuantan Malaysian construction industries to better promote effectiveness on risk management implementation within the industry. To address this issues, this study makes use of statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) approach to validate construction risk management (CRM) as a construct from registered Grade-7 contractors operating in Malaysia point of view. With a cross-sectional survey and proportionate stratified random sampling techniques, data were gathered from 87 G-7 contractors through a structured questionnaire. Methodologically, this research perhaps might be the first to determine the level of risk management where Kuantan Malaysian construction industries belong to. Using the five-point Likert scale categories (very low, low, medium, high and very high) of risk management from previous studies, statistical analysis affirmed that the overall level of risk management among Kuantan Malaysian construction industries is at the high level.
