Abstract

Abstract— The study aims to identify the supply chain management and its impact on customer service, as well as indicating the role of supply chain management in improving sales and identifying the views of managers working in the corporate about supply chain management. Relying on the mindfulness framework, we argue that dispositional mindfulness has an impact on workplace outcomes, include service climate. Supply chain strategy tested as mediators of this relationship. This study was an explanatory survey among supervisors of the railway transportation service provider in Jakarta, Indonesia. The quota sampling technique was performed. The participants in this study were 357 supervisors. They filled the self-report questionnaires. The data analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling with Lisrel 8.7 software. Results indicated that those with greater mindfulness report more positive service climate’ perception, and greater supply chain strategy. As expected, the relationship between mindfulness and service climate was mediated by supply chain strategy. The theoretical implication of this study was the empirical evidence regarding the mechanism that mediates the impact of mindfulness on workplace outcomes, with supply chain strategy as a potential mediating role. Results support the usefulness of further examination of the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace context.

Abstract

Abstract This article examines the relation of integrated curriculum with implementation of modern teaching methods through the supply chain strategy in education. The research method in this article is analytical-deductive. Considering the fact that in order to extract the dimensions of integrated curriculum, its analysis is done in terms of effective factors in the integration of the curriculum, the research method is an analytical type, and considering that the relation between the integrated curriculum and the application of modern teaching methods is examined, it is deductive. The results show that the nature of integrated curriculum, coherence of students' learning in order to learn has been more effective. The main advantages of it includes: Actualization of learners' talents, training creative and critical thinking, problem solving, and, strengthening research oriented. The nature of modern teaching methods indicates the active role and personal experience of learner, the interactive process of learning in order to independence, social adjustment, team working skill, social skill, and, comprehensive analysis. So integrated curriculum by removed barriers restricted of subject-based curriculum such as predetermined content, limited questions, lack of relationship of achieved knowledge with life and lack of interdisciplinary relation requires modern methods to be successful in growing scientific search skill, referring to numerous sources, consultation and participation of learners.

Abstract

The supply chain for human resource management is one of the most popular, actual, and versatile areas of economic science. The main scientific and practical problem of the research is the insufficient knowledge of the reasons for the supply chain for human resource management development against the background of an extensive accumulation of theoretical material, the inconsistency of empirical estimates of various processes and phenomena associated with the formation and use of human capital. The purpose of the research is to study the main stages of the supply chain for human resource management evolution from the point of view of the techno-economic paradigm concept. The methodological basis of the research is the theses of the classical economic theory and the supply chain for human resource management in all its diversity, the techno-economic paradigm concept, as well as the innovative development concept. The article considers the historical periodization of the capitalist economy development, explores the evolution of views on the human’s role in the world public production. It is concluded that the human’s role in the world public production is determined, first of all, by the prevailing techno-economic paradigm. A scientific base for researching the human capital and its main components is created and developed in accordance with the techno-economic paradigm and its appropriate structure type. The article covers the time period from the end of the XVIII century until the 90s of XX century.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of airport road access wayfinding and signage preferences on senior driver. Wayfinding complexity varied due to differing levels of airport road-side furniture such as traffic signs and bollards. Experienced car drivers were asked to drive self-designed simulated routes. Forty drivers in the age ranges: 50 to over 60 were selected to perform the study. Questionnaire then were distributed after driving simulation test was performed. The driver performance was analysed by Mean and Standard Deviation (SD), and discussed with reference to the use of the driving simulator and drivers’ general experience. The results confirmed that there is a correlation between airport road access wayfinding design and senior driving performance.

Abstract

Despite the big data research and relevance of data analysis there has been limited empirical research and implication of data-driven supply chain networks. This paper explores the effect of data-driven supply chain capabilities on transportation (train based). In order to illustrate the shortest path calculation, London Underground Transportation open source data have been analysed through implementing different data mining tools and using programming language Python and R. The findings indicate that a data-driven supply chain has a significant time efficient effect on the logistics support. Coordination, using available data, and supply chain responsiveness are positively and significantly related to time and cost efficient performance. This system can be implemented in train based logistic support to consider the route selection.

Abstract

Building relationships with Generation Z on social media is becoming a challenge for present-day enterprises. Gen Zers have a huge purchasing power, and by 2030 they will be the largest customer base. Customer orientation, as an element of social CRM, enables enterprises to build relationships with customers by appropriately responding to the needs and preferences of their existing and future customers. The aim of the paper was to identify the expectations of surveyed representatives of Gen Zers towards the benefits of customer-company interactions on social media. The study of Generation Z attitudes towards brands on social media is part of broader research conducted by the authors among students in Poland and Great Britain in 2020. The method used in the study was a survey, as part of which the CATI surveying technique was used. For analysis of the study material, descriptive statistics measures were used. Analysis of the collected empirical data provided the basis for verifying the research hypotheses. The findings show what benefits of following a brand on social media by respondents were significant in both the analysed countries. Additionally, the strength of the relationships between the analysed variables and the respondent's gender and place of residence was verified.

Abstract

Despite widespread agreement on the significance of organizational performance, little attention has been devoted to investigating its determinants in the context of manufacturing organizations in Bangladesh. As a result, the purpose of this research is to determine the effect of green supply chain management on organizational performance in the manufacturing companies of Bangladesh. A total of 211 respondents from the Bangladeshi manufacturing industry, including supply chain supervisors, managers, and directors, were gathered for this study. Using two independent variables, including green innovation and green process, we were able to assess green supply chain practices, while organizational performance was evaluated using two dependent variables, including environmental performance and financial performance. The SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 24.0 program was used to gather demographic information of the respondents, and Smart PLS (version 3.3.3) was utilized to test the research hypotheses. The findings showed that there is a statistically significant positive connection between GSCM and organizational performance. The results of the research have certain implications for practitioners, which are discussed further in the paper. In addition, we addressed research constraints as well as potential study topics for the future.

Abstract

This paper investigates the knowledge gaps in the published research on agri-food supply chain traceability (AFSC), identifies the main unexplored issues and potential research gaps, and sets the research agenda for future researchers. A systematic literature review of the quality work/papers on AFSC traceability was done for the period (2008-2020) using a PRISMA flow diagram. The systematic literature review results have provided insight into the present literature and set future research directions related to agri-food supply chain traceability-related to re-search. The study reveals several critical issues related to all the stakeholders; it has furthered understanding of drivers and challenges and Food Traceability System contributions from a practical perspective. This paper has used only quality research work of 12 years only as per set inclusion and exclusion criteria which is the study’s main limitation. It identifies significant knowledge gaps and defines directions for future research. This work has explored the current state of the regulations and potential technologies to help effective decision-making practices that managers can use in AFSCs.This study has presented an idiosyncratic set of research domains for further investigation in the area
