Abstract

Climate change has become a major issue in cities that champion the path to the sustainable development of cities. Recent effort by COP 26 has buoyed the emphasis for improving neighborliness of climate and humankind. Since cities anchor national prosperity and act as and centre for policy making and actions for the country, they act as an important administrative structure for championing climate agenda. Although the literature on adaptation to climate change is rapidly expanding, little is known about how the adoption of new public management tool, public private partnerships(PPPs) contribute to climate sustainability, yet the adoption of PPPs is on the rise in traditional and emerging smart cities. Based on a review of literature, this study provides insights on how PPPs can enable city administrations to play a key role for supporting climate sustainable agenda of nations especially in Sub Saharan Africa that is considered a victim of climate change and yet this part of the world is deemed to have been insignificantly responsible for the climate change by largely affected negative effects of today’s climate change.

Further to this, participation of key stakeholders in implementing such PPP Projects leads to effective street parking of urban areas and there is a significant relationship between stakeholder participation in the execution of management contract PPP project and ensuring effective street parking in urban areas. The study recommends that KCC must always ensure that Multiplex limited involves all key stakeholders in the execution of the management contract PPP project such as drivers in meetings when discussing about changes being done.  The changes need to be made for the betterment of work, as stakeholders of Multiplex need to regularly get feedback after meeting. Abstract

Abstract- The present article discusses the practical aspects of organizing provision of public services in Moscow by using supply chain strategy. The main difficulties of providing public services in multifunctional centers (MFC) of the capital region are studied, and the main limitations of provision of public services in modern Russian conditions are revealed. Currently, one of the most important tasks of the state is to provide modern, timely and high-quality public services to citizens. In the process of providing public services, the state pays great attention to the development of feedbacks from citizens and uses new ways of providing public services. In Moscow, a “Single portal of state and municipal services (functions)” has been created, which provides electronic access to services. With its help, the applicant can submit an application and other necessary documents, and also learn about the progress of the public service. The result of organization of MFC is that the process of providing public services has become more accessible, convenient and much more comfortable. In recent years, the form of activity of MFC has undergone significant changes, mainly due to the rapidly growing needs of citizens. Most changes occurred in the Moscow Multifunctional Center because of the fast growth in demand for services and desire to improve the quality of services. However, problems of citizens' awareness of the newly created services and the possibilities of obtaining them have still remained unresolved.

Abstract

With the digitalization of industry, many of business operations depend upon the data which either support them or reject them due to versatile reasons. Such data has been managing through big data analytics now which has diverse benefits ranged from transaction to strategic benefits. However, their implication on financial performance of manufacturing firms in Thailand has stayed as grey area in literature. This study has aimed to analyze the impact of data driven supply chain orientation on financial performance in manufacturing firms of Thailand in mediating role of transactional, transformational, strategic and informational benefits of big data. Almost 42 manufacturing organizations have been surveyed in this regard which were currently engaged in big data operations and data has been collected from their employees through questionnaire. SEM and CFA were run to analyze the data to analyze hypotheses and model fitness respectively. Results have depicted that data driven supply chain significantly enhances financial performance through big data benefits and also in its direct path too. This study can help manufacturing firms in Asia to incorporate big data analytics in their manufacturing systems to ensure good financial health.

Abstract

A voluntary eco-labeling program acts as soft policy instruments to regulate or promote climate change mitigation and carbon footprint reduction. The proper design of an eco-labeling program will likely attract more environmentally cautious companies to participate; it will also demonstrate the authoritativeness and trustfulness to consumers when choosing an eco-labeled product. Ultimately, the environmental consumer behavior will lead to higher market penetration of products with eco-labels. The successful design of an eco-label will: (1) set an appropriate eco-standard accepted by the industry and the participants; (2) offer various degrees of strategic benefits from the participation; (3) ultimately increase the market share of eco-labeling products; and (4) benchmark green (described as more environmentally friendly) quality improvement to the environment, reduce carbon footprint, and benefit the society and human beings.

Abstract

The bear and bull market conditions have attracted a lot of attention as economic phenomena, thus characterizing the bitcoin markets as bullish or otherwise bearish goes a long way in describing the behaviour of the market. However, this paper will use the regime switching method to identify the turning points of the Bitcoin market conditions, predict the bull and bear Bitcoin market conditions and also emphasize the properties of the bear and bull market conditions that would aid investors in making the right investment decisions.
